I would like to cancel smartflix membership

I signed up really for a chance to win an iphone. I want to cancel immediately however the link does not word and I do not want any charges to my card please . See clip from the site below. SmartFlix- Out of Business but still charging.....

Claims they sent me videos that I never received. Then, they emailed me and said they needed to update my credit card number. Upon going to their website you find that they just announced they went out of business..They fail to respond to my emails and send me notices that I have these tapes out and are incurring charges. ........... .... .uuuu iii iii iii iii iii iii iii iii iii iii iiii iii iii iii iii iiii iii iii iii ii ii

SmartFlix relentless in trying to scam money

6 months ago I reviewed SmartFlix reporting that they refuse to communicate, do not send their DVD rentals, and withdraw unauthorized funds from bank accounts. Since then, my bank pursued them! Got my money back, and closed the debit card they scammed. But this company is relentless. Each month they send email notices stating they'd tried to withdraw funds but the card is inactive. (No kidding)! Their emails do not offer an opportunity to "unsubscribe ". This is a company that continues to try to take your money in spite of being caught!!!!!

SmartFlix - Avoid

Delivery issues ever getting the DVD's you were charged for at time of order placement. No accurate date of expected order fulfillment is provided nor can you obtain one via email. Email is the only method of contact, no customer service phone is available or answered. Your voicemails are either not listened to or if heard, not acted upon. You will be charged at time of order placement. You may or may not get your DVD's that you ordered ever, and rarely on a timely basis. You will have difficulty with their return processing and likely you will be fradulently charged for late fees. You should object to every late fee.

Smartflix Dvd Rental Review from Eagle Point, Oregon

This sure looked like a great deal, renting videos to learn more about the things you are interested in. Like metal working etc. Thankfully I looked into the reviews and business practices. From what I have read, smartflix is not what they say and I won't be doing business with them. To bad they have scammed so many people out of their money. This is a good business idea, I hope some honest people will open a business like this one. Only if someone does open a business like this, keep it honest and it will be a success.

Smartflix DVD Rental

This is the worst business website I have ever used. They have been prompt about billing me but terrible about answering calls or e-mails. They have charged me wrongly about "membership" but have left no way for me to contact them. They repeatedly charge me late fees for items I have returned. Stay away from this company. They do not answer their online phone number, answer my e-mails or answer my calls to customer "service". I like the idea of the type of service they said they would provide but they don't provide it! VERY annoyed customer.

Smartflix Subscription Review from Levittown, Pennsylvania

Signed up for the subscription which included one free month and picked the DVDs I wanted sent. First three were listed as shipping soon... Nothing sent after two months of waiting and they started charging me! Sent an email and no response. There is no way to cancel it on their website so I cancelled my credit card and had the number changed. I have no hope of getting that money back since they have no phone number and do not answer emails. Buyer beware you will just keep losing $25 a month with nothing to show for it until you cancel your credit card.

Canceled DVD's

I had ordered some DVD's but they were on back order, 3 Months later I moved so I sent emails and messages through their web site to cancel my order and to send me a refund. First they should not have charged me for the items they didn't have, 6 More months go by they mail out some DVD's they got forwarded to me, I sent them back with a letter that I have moved and I no longer have a DVD Player so stop sending and give me a refund, that was 4 Weeks ago and they are still sending them out to me and my forwarding service has ended, 3 More emails sent and no reply. Today I get email saying they are resending a couple of them out again??????? Still no refund and may be facing other charges for lost DVD's?????

Smartflix Dvd Rental Review from Beckley, West Virginia

This company is absolutely ridiculous. I ordered two dvds and upon checking out, I was double charged. The site says that complaints will be addressed within 48 hours, however, after multiple emails I never received one reply. The charge was never fixed and I was $40 overcharged. I won't be using this service again and would urge people thinking about using them to save themselves from the headache.

Company not honoring the 60-day no questions asked cancellation policy

I signed up for one of their university bundle advertised as 60 days no questions asked cancel. After five days of no reply I decided to check on line for references on this company and found lots of similar complaints against this company's business practices so I decided to send an email and cancel the membership I purchased. Although they claim to reply to every email within two business days they never acknowledge my cancellation or ever attempted to address my concerns. Within the month my card had been used for authorized online charges in UK, and my credit card company blocked the card. Smart flex is now trying to collect fees for the service even though I made several attempts to cancel the membership.

RETURNED DVD'S - STILL BEING CHARGED

I rented some dvds from Smart Flix. I returned them in 7 days. The required time to return them was 10 days. They are saying they did not receive the returned dvds. It was their return mailing label, their package and seals. They purchased the shipping label. They have a tracking number. I have told them repeatedly that I returned the package and from which post office. They can track it if they want to. They are still charging me late fees. I think I will contact the Illinois Attorney General and file a consumer fraud complaint. THIS COMPANY IS A RIP OFF. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!!! i THINK

Refuses to communicate, unauthorize removal of funds

Signed up for a 1 month "free" trial offer online for university status. Website is confusing and doesn't allow for "free" offer that is shown on the website. Takes credit card or PayPal and says they will "not bill until after the first 30 day trial period". They billed and withdrew funds from PayPal IMMEDIATELY. I have tried to cancel my account with them multiple times but continually get an "OOPS! We've encountered a problem" message each time. I am livid with this dishonest company. Don't waste your money. They're unscrupulous at best. I have sent multiple emails and they refuse to respond. They have sent no information on whether they are shipping videos to me or not.

Was shipped two of four videos in series, two were substitutes

I ordered a series of four Richard Schmidt Art Lesson videos. After 3-4 months, I was shipped two of the four videos (November and May) and two other videos: "Proficient Flying" and "Theatrical Makeup Design" instead of the "June" and "White Pine" Schmidt videos. And, there seems to be no way to contact them. The email address on their insert is not found by Firefox. And no phone number. AVOID THIS COMPANY. Besides being way overpriced, they send substitute videos, not what was ordered and give you no way to get a replacement or satisfaction. This is one of the worst scams I've fallen for. Avoid at all costs.

No videos, no response... no nothing from Smartflix

I ordered two videos back in April, then got an email on 4/29/15 that both would be delayed. I have since emailed them twice, asking for any information on these titles. Despite auto-response emails to my inquiries, assuring me that they would respond, I've never heard from them. Nor have I found a way to cancel my order, or receive a refund. This company used to be so much fun to use! I've learned about welding, woodturning and more. So, what the *** happened? It seemed to be a specialized service that is available no where else. A true heartache.
