Loss of channels

The first tech told me he would call me back with a resolution and he never did, that was a week ago. The second one that made me cancel basically told me that there is nothing he could do , so I asked if he was willing to provide a discount or send me a air tv so I could watch the local channels which he said no. So basically what I got was take it or leave it . I run a company and Im sorry but when problems come up we resolve them to maintain a good working relationship with our customers , Sling on the other hand lets them run right out the door which will ultimately slowly eat away at your company. I normally will never recommend sling to anyone who asks

Over payment

I contacted customer service to inform them that there was two withdrawals from my account for both bills one of it was $60 that was taken out twice the other was $31 that was also taken out that's supposed to be for promotion. I was told that it would take 72 hours before anything could be done! I am not happy or satisfied with this service I feel if you was in a rush to take it out of my account you can be in a rush to put it back into my account if this is not resolved before this upcoming Friday I am calling my attorney I will not hesitate to sue or cancel my subscription. And yes!!! I have recorded both conversations and gave information about which account the over payment came from. a extra $60 and $32 should not ever came out of my account.

Bait & switch

I searched to watch FIFA Womens World Cup LIVE and the Sling site claimed I could do that for $20/month promo/$40 regular I signed up, they took their $20 and I logged in to watch. Then I discovered that their idea of LIVE is 7 days (168 hours) AFTER the game was played. To watch it AS ITS BEING PLAYED (not sure what part of live they dont understand) they want an additional $15 month. FURIOUS. Fighting them for my money back now. Scammers

Error code 11-6 keeping me from watching my shows that I am paying to watch.

Error message- Looks like a location issue. 1) Make sure you arent on VPN; 2) Enable location services if they arent on code 116. I live in central Florida! Last time I checked thats in the USA. This service is to expensive to have denial of service for something stupid. This shouldnt be happening. The company has to be making money hand over fist.

Sling often down

Frequently cannot access programming. It is no on our end. Other users are complaining at the same time.

Voice not coming from channel

The customer support is rude and cant understand. Any simple work she cant do . My fav channel is not coming and I request to set voice no help at all. Simple things cant be got done waste of money waste of time.

Did not deliver service as advertised

I ordered Sling orange to watch Wimbledon 2023. It would only play 2 hours of the tennis matches. Tennis matches often last longer than that. Sergio, the customer service rep, could not find any reason for this. He had no resolution. I am extremely disappointed in Sling!!

Customer service

I called to change my billing cycle since I started a new job and Ive had sling since 2016. I was told by customer service I could not change it due to them redoing their billing system. This billing system fix has been going on since February 2023, its July. No notice to the customers. I use to love sling. It was affordable and customer service reps were all so sweet and helpful. Not any more, it damn near cost as much as cable. I pay $82 dollars a month. When I started it was $43 with showtime and Starz. If can go to Hulu tv. Nicer people and more for you money. Comes with Disney +. Sling has went downhill. Oh and you cant speak to a supervisor, they will tell you. They have no way to contact a supervisor its a real *** show. After all these years of having it. Im going to Hulu tv

Billing

I signed up on my tv for Sling and selected a$30/mo. plan that came with a free Firestick. Never received the Firestick and was charged $44 after the first month. There was no disclosure when signing up on my TV that only the first month was $30. Regarding the Firestick, Sling at first said that they didnt have my address; after providing my address (which wasn't requested before), Sling said to contact Amazon for a promo code. When told that didnt seem right, Sling said that I received an email on the day I signed up with the promo code. I checked, no email. Asked to have it resent, Sling hung up on me. This was in a chat and I have the transcript. I started another chat, and was told no billing correction was possible and that I would receive an email with the promo code within 72 hrs. No email, no Firestick to date. Found out that Sling is owned by Dish, which in my opinion is the worst company for customer service , so that made sense. I wanted to keep the service but not to be gaslighted and abused. Stay away!

Refund declined

You didnt have the channel i wanted, and i said i'd be happy with a partial refund. I was nice and said i would consider returning if you handled it nicely, you didnt, and apparently your greed is on others too, literlly been on the paid account for less than 24 hours. Technical problems

Sling Tv for some reason has trouble broadcasting were others don't. The DVD barely works and the worst part if you pause a show you can not fast forward the pause so if forces you to watch commercials..I think that's the worst part of Sling tv, 2nd DVD is in and out, 3rd CS you need to be a rocket scientist to figure out and last when Netflix, Prime work fine Sling doesn't it seems to need a higher signal. I've had all the channel down loads you tube seems to be best but I'm retired so Sling is all I can afford so that's what I have. We trail in our motorhome and use our t-mobile 5g tower which so far works great on the road. So I can watch Sling anywhere and the t-mobile comes with free Netflix. So with 2 phone unlimited everything, wifi (5g) work relatively fair, Netflix and Sling 140 a month..works for me.

Channels

I had sling for almost 7years and I have enjoyed my channels. Just the other day they took my channels and gave me what they wanted me to have.i.called customer service and ask why did they.do that and she said there was a problem on their side.I love Fox5 news and look forward to watching it ever morning now I can't. I.stayed on the.phone for an hour with her and then she hung up on me and I still have not gotten my original package that I have been paying for ,for the last 7 years thus so wrong I will be canceling..this is the worst

Can’t get a refund for my 30day trial

On June 5th I tried to get the 30 day trial for $27.50. Was unable to connect correctly, Sling site kept taking me back to payment options and I had already paid.I immediately called Sling customer service number, no answer. Called the next day, no answer. Called June 7th and was told two days had elapsed and no refund would be granted.So now Im stuck paying $27.50 for something I cant use and will never use now because of this experience. I filed a complaint on June 5th to PayPal but they have not heard back from Sling TV.

Absolutely Atrocious

I cannot say anything good about Slingtv because their streaming service sucks and a great deal of channels dont work because of technical difficulties that have been going on for over a year and other channels can not be viewed or watched because of pix elation issues and problems making the images completely blurry. SlingTV does not have customer service because each time Ive called, I was forced to wait on hold for over an hour and my call was disconnected. I immediately called back and I was forced to wait an additional two hours and disconnected again. Nothing was addressed or resolved by SlingTV and this has been an ongoing issue for a very long time. Ive tried to use there online chat feature three times but I was never connected or sent to an actual live representative for any help after waiting an additional hour, so all the steps and processes that I took were a complete waste of my time and I had to do without my SlingTV services that were paid for on May 3, 2023, for several days and this is just not right or fair. Im paying for their services and I feel that they certainly are not providing the services that they are paid for in advance. SlingTV are not honest, reputable or trustworthy, but then they are part of or affiliated with Dish Network. I was a Directv Customer for over 20 years and Im truly sorry that my current residence does not allow installation of satellite dishes. Please review the images below so that you will see first hand exactly what SlingTV provides for $56.00 per month! SlingTV has yet to amicably address or resolve the service issues and problems that I brought to their attention a year ago. I feel that SlingTV absolutely Sucks!

Since leaving this review nothing has changed and my complaint and concerns have not been addressed or resolved to my complete satisfaction, so I canceled my subscription with SlingTV. I personally mailed a letter to the CEO Erik Carlson by certified return receipt and...

I can not express enough my total disgust and dissatisfaction with SlingTV. I feel that they continually take our money and fail to provide the goods or services that they were clearly paid for. I do not appreciate being left on hold for over and hour and disconnected. When I called back and held for an additional several hours that call was disconnected too. I tried the chat feature that obviously isnt worth the time or effort because the app never transfers you to a live person no matter how many times you try. I feel completely ripped off, scammed and cheated by SlingTV because for the two years I have been a customer Ive had nothing but service issues and complaints that they failed to address or amicably resolve. I do not appreciate SlingTV continually taking money that they do not provide the services. I forward to having my day in court.
