Uncomfortable hot and just bad

when I went to sleeptrain it was about 2 and a half years ago I explained to the salesman everything I wanted not hot not soft and not to hard I tried out some different ones and found the sealy posturpedic plush felt pretty good ask the salesman does th iskind of mattress make you feel hot he said no so I took his word for it. well it didn't take long I found out it was horrible and it felt saggie in the middle when I boughtit they toldme I had to sign on the contract it couldn't be returned I had sent back 2other ones that I wasn't satisfied with may be that's why they are no longer in business I sleep on my couch until about 4 or 5 in the morning and then go to bed sometimes my ankles feel numb and my back hurts also I have read other stories about this company so I know its to late to do anything I wish there was

HORRIBE MATTRESS

We bought our mattress from Sleep Train and bought the Serta Motion Essential II Insight Everfeel Plush and it is barley 16 months old and feels like it is 30 years old. Already has no support. We bought it firm and is extremely soft. Called the company and I had to pay $39 for them to come inspect it and he said it was just normal wear and tear. FOR 16 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had a Sterns and Foster that was 23 years old before we got this new one and it is still very firm and my son and wife are using it now and say it is the best mattress ever. We regret buying this mattress from Sleep Train. Horrible customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!

Never received correct sheets

I bought a sleep train mattress at the home garden show January 2017. The wrong sheets were sent I called customer service took a picture and still no response. I sent several emails to the guy that sold us the the bed but still no response. This happened the last time I bought a bed from them 2 years prior.

Blown Off On Warranty/Defect Issue

The last time I heard: "The customer is always right" was 1993- in the Michael Douglas movie "Falling Down." Interestingly enough- he says it just before becoming so righteously frustrated by the smiley-faced refusal of the manager- he pulls out a sub machine gun. I was blown off by Sleep Train after WEEKS of -calling...recalling...emailing photos...then- finally- they tell me: 1) I have to contact the manufacturer - because now I find out they wasted my all my time and blew me off because: 2) their waiting bought them enough time to never handle my claim.since they were in the process of transitioning their business model so that no longer handle warranties- only manufacturer does. THIS IS WHAT ANGERS ME about these SUPPOSEDLY "customer focused" companies. They screw up, then waste your time when you call them on it and invariably- the solution is ALWAYS to waste EVEN MORE of your time and perhaps now even charge you some hidden fee...even though- YOU DID NOTHING WRONG. Do any of these shyster companies like SleepTrain ever stop to think about who the *** pays their wages, insurance, electric bill and vacation time? US...THE CUSTOMER. We need a grassroots economy- an end to this top-down, dictatorial "supply side" garbage that puts all the jerks running companies in this way out of business.

Sleep Train Mattress Centers - Tempurpedic Mattress Review

My husband and I purchased a tempur cloud breeze dual queen mattress, and after sleeping on it the next morning I woke up with a horrible kidney pain and I was very lethargic. I spend all day researching for information about what is in this mattress. sorpraisinly I find out is full of contaminents and a lot of people is getting sick because of it. Please BE WARE. We returned the mattress but sleep train ended up charging us $200 for returning it. Sleep train sold us a mattress full of chemicals with no warning of it and ovecharged us for returning it. I guess they expect us to be good custumers keep the mattress and die slowly.

No can take away old mattresses for bed bugs, but no bed bugs

Delivery guy claimed sleep train policy is not to take away any old mattresses when delivering new mattresses if there is any indicator of bed bugs. I am a General Contractor licensed in the State and have seen quite a few bed bug infestations in my 40 years of business. He pointed to a "shell" he says he found on the bottom of the box spring when getting ready to take away old (before unloading anything from the truck. I told him that was not a bed bug shell and asked him to show me what else he found to convince him there was bed bugs. He could only point to that one ancient shell that could well have been put there. I showed him my UV light and he was unimpressed as I searched for any sign of any sort of bugs. None. He said the truck would be contaminated by my mattresses, yet could not explain why sleep train makes a big deal about how well the new mattresses are sealed up until delivery. Clearly there were no bed bugs and there was some other reason for the strange behavior of the delivery team. What, did they want me to spot them some cash to secret them away? Total nonsense. Last time I ever deal with those clowns again at sleep train.

Bought 2500$ bed, have waited 3 weeks. I cant get it delivered because sales rep wont call me to schedule a date. I cant even cancel my order and get my money back until he calls. Scam.

Sleep Train Mattress Centers - Mattress Review

Let's keep it simple. I contacted them about my having lower back pain I need a firm mattress. I was given 3 options that best work for me I chose one and not even about 1 month or 2 this mattress is sinking. It's really bad. Worse than the memory foam I had before this. We call to find out what can be done and they said they will talk to management to see what they can do about the fee. They will call me back. I waited about a week or more and I contacted them back they said they were about to call me (rude on the phone by the way) they said I am just not happy because of my preference. I said it's not my preference, I'm in pain I need a firm mattress that's actually firm. They justified not calling me back in 3 days like they said because they were just about to contact me but I beat them to it. I would have exchanged for a firmer mattress like REALLY firm but I can't justify paying a fee to continue doing business with them. I opted to pay the 149.99 return or exchange fee to return the *** thing and make it my life mission to help others not shop with sleep train to not make the same mistake I made. DO NOT BUY FROM SLEEP TRAIN!

Purchase dates of 7/23/16 and 8/30/16

The 7/23/16 Tempurpedic mattress did not work for us. We needed a harder mattress. Re the substitute mattress, the salesman said that the new delivered mattress would be harder because the store model had been on the store premises for a while. It is now December 5th, and we both find the replacement mattress too soft. It is not fun to try to sleep all night and then wake up with back pain. I know that we relinquished our rights as to replacement, refund, etc., but at this point we would be hard pressed to recommend Sleep Train for mattresses. Nor would we purchase another Sleep Train mattress. If there is a remedy to our case, please contact us at 503-391-****. Linda Egan

Sleep Train Mattress Centers - Review in Furniture and Decor category

Warranty Department is joke and very rude! Been waiting months to get my warranty resolved on this defective mattress i bought from SleepTrain. They always have an excuse everytime i call!! The latest being that they have my wrong cust# and they would email me and of course have not recieved anything. Customer service is no help. The mattress is killing my back and i have been putting out extra money for massages because of this defective bed!! Never again will i deal with SleepTrain. Only get treated half way decent when ur buying something!!

The truth is, Sleep Train not only charges an $80 delivery fee, they'll also nail you with a $150 return/pick-up fee.

Read their return policy small print before buying.

Update: After more than week of their reply to my about comment/warning, SleepTrain did not get back to me about my "concerns". Looks a like a another fake, "We really care about our customer's concerns."

so u hear on the radio if u don't like ur mattress you can't traid it in after 120 days well I tried and the guy told me to walk on it and it would break in the bed and I knew I only had a week left but he made me feel like he wasn't going to help me tell I did this! So we lost our window now I'm stuck with a 4000 dollar bed I hate and wake up in pain ever day so if I was any of u I wouldn't buy from them they make u hold fo 30 min or more just to talk to someone that tell u your *** out of luck! Im so angry do something for your customers!!!

Maybe i am complaining way too early. I wish i would have checked out this site ahead of time. The saleman was really nice. I got a pillow top queen mattress for $200. The mattress in store wasn't supper soft, but soft. Told the salesman i had issues and needed a comfortable bed. When it was delivered, layed on it. It was like laying on a sheet of plywood. . Looked at the tag. Said it was FIRM. I never would have bought it. Called. Told them i have the wrong mattress. No, ii just need to sleep on it for 30 days. I don't want to sleep on for an hour. I was told there was a SMALL fee of $149. Seriously. So long story, if it doesn't soften up i'm stuck with it. How am i supposed to buy a mattress with $50.

Horrific delivery

My buying experience was okay. The mattress was okay. But the delivery people were just short of criminals. They were rude, offensive, and by the time the lazy creeps had got my mattress inside is was damaged to the point of voiding the warranty. Never buy anything from these people. Please the last thing you want is to let the Mattress Train's delivery people into your home. Of course, you could have your local police stand by and watch them while they hauled your mattress into you house, I suppose. I would have tried to return the mattress, but I wasn't going to expose myself to further abuse.

Dishonorable & Bogus Warranty

Although Sleep Train didn't actually have an opportunity to replace the mattress in 90 days or less due to the mattress breaking down after the 90 days... our issue is with the warranty Group they use. The mattress has sagged to the point it is like sleeping in a ditch and we filed a claim against the warranty. When the warranty Group sent the independent person out to measure the sag it didn't sag enough without weight on it. (We have pictures showing the sag and the downhill sag with my husband laying on it. The independent person even stated "the picture says it all") So the claim was denied because the mattress didn’t sag to their Warranty criteria. After throwing a fit about their warranty, what we got offered was a 20% discount on a new mattress. We paid $1999.00 just for the top mattress and in less than a year and a half it has sagged beyond comfort causing both my husband and I to wake with back pain because of this. And the warranty Group say they don't warranty comfort- Isn’t that the whole idea of sleeping on a mattress- is for comfort? Yet they knew exactly what the issue is with the sagging while sleeping (see pic of measurement first thing in the morning while still warm), as the mattress puffs back up when it doesn't have the body heat breaking it down. This warranty is bogus and Sleep Train is fully aware that the warranty is not honored and has loopholes to get out of it and therefore doesn't cost the company money on losses! WE ARE NEVER BUYING FROM THEM AGAIN!

I'm unhappy that they sold me a bed with the agreement to accept a return in the event my very ill fiance did not like the bed.

She is still unsuccessfully trying to get rest on this bed, and she hurts because Sleeptrain's sales staff thought it more expedient to ask her to come in while sick, try out beds, let her find the one she likes, then deny her.

Hello Mr. Carlsen. My name is Joseph Zarola I was an employee of Sleeptrain's in the first part of 2016 My fiance has MDS, is deaf, with a heart issue. Cedar Sanai Hospital Doctors have given her 3 to 4 years becausr of her blood cance. She is my reason for this communicstion with you. I was given an employee discount on making a clearance-bed purchase 100 days ago, without her present, and I decided on a BR Recharge 850 Plush. I made sure that the salesmen were completely aware of my fiance's inabilty to come to choose the mattress, because of recent treatments that left her very tired.I also purchased a matress protection system to ensure the bed would be undamaged in the event she did not like it, and my Promised Return would facilitate her getting a good sleep. Three days after taking delivery, my lady toldme that it was so uncomfortable that she was not sleeping well. I came into the stire in Oceanside Calif., and told my former employees, ( who promised an exchange even with a clearance bed), that she was not sleeping well, had too much pain. They tild me to bring her in and choose the right bed for her, and she came in, pale, tired, but happy to have the right bed coming.After she picked a pillow-top plush clearance mattress, we left, and thought this problem was solved...not so. They refused to exchange, tried to sell me a clearance pillowtop, and reniged on their promises. It has been 100 days of terrible sleep for my lady.Sleeptrain has failed me and my girl in our time of need, to acquire a comfortable bed for her time left. I wad offered a $200 discount by Progressive, to buy a pillowtop, but i rejected it out of principal..i refuse to psy for a bed that isnt what it should be.
