Automatically billed me for a domain even though I turned off automatic billing

I turned off automatic billing for a domain that I was trying to let expire. The domain ended up billing out anyway. I notified customer support and they informed me they couldn't give refunds on that because they already paid the registrar. I get that, but I turned off automatic billing, and they still billed me. If your cost of doing business doesn't include a refund for a $12 domain when its your fault for your automatic billing function, then I am going elsewhere. On top of this I just migrated a large website to siteground, its had variable performance with down times due to resource failures. Granted the resource utilization was actually set to autoscale, which still peaked. But they couldn't pin point why it peaked. That single peak caused me to be billed an extra $40 for an unexplained event. So you can't predict the resources needed and if you set them to unlimited it will possibly go to unlimited and they are not obligated to explain it.

Price Review

My renewal increased by 75% which was not attainable for us with the current rising cost of living and recent court case on our website. Our query was met initally with an explanation that the increase was correct and couldn't assist. Then I was referred higher, a supervisor discussed and reviewed and gave a 40% discount for our renewal. We were happy with the support given by Siteground.

One of the best web hosts for small businesses and entry-level agencies!

I have used SiteGround for multiple clients and my own design agency. They have a great introductory rate that you really can't beat. Once the year is up, the pricing becomes mid-level, but their managed wordpress hosting has SO MANY features that they are still price-competitive. Anytime I have needed a little extra support, their live-chat gets me in contact with an expert, and every single experience I have had with them has been positive. They always diagnose the issue and are able to help me SUPER FAST. I am so impressed with them.

Support was timely, insightful and great

We need some super timely DNS help and I was stuck in the middle. Now it's all fixed! I hate being in the middle of multiple experts that are working on my site at the same time. I feel like a middleman. Getting CHAT help from Siteground was very helpful so I could get on with my regular work. I also like phone support but Chat worked just fine.

I've been using SG for ten years or so. The customer service is ALWAYS great. I just talked to a guy named Lilko, who helped me with a DNS issue. He was cheery and open to helping me. The thing is, they have hundreds of Lilko's. They are all really, really helpful. Not to mention the best in class speed, uptime, ease of use for WordPress hosting, and state-of-the-art tools. They don't bill based on the number of sites or any nickel and dime nonsense. And they are the complete opposite of Go-dooody and other big box hosting companies that make you want to claw your eyes out every time you write in for help. Kudos. Siteground for life.

Whenever I have any problem, whether it is big or small, (and it is usually because I don't know what I'm doing, lol), they help me without complaint, and make sure I am happy and satisfied. They truly have the best service!

Excellent Service

We have worked with Siteground Hosting for around 10 years. The services provided are great, especially the tech support. In addition, we had hosting with other companies but decided to migrate to Siteground for the excellent tech support and the quality of the services including speed and security.

Outstanding Support and Fast-Loading Pages

After updating the primary domain name as part of a launch, the URL did not resolve. It took Nikolay less than 2 minutes to identify the root cause and fix the issue, which was related to a plugin. Very happy with the friendly and proficient technical support from SiteGround!

Always the fastest to respond on a request and best hosting in this era

We hosted our website to other platforms and there was always a problem with things. But Siteground has their security and cache plugins that don't interrupt anything. We had a problem with our smooth scroll, contacted them and they helped me using their plugins and I'm so happy! I recommend it to everyone that want platform with good UI and UX and supportive team beind
