Support

I have been on hold for literally 3 hours. About an hour ago some picked up and said he was not trained on the AP44. Im pretty sure my precision 9 went bad and needs to be replaced. My unit stopped working and I need support. I cant believe what a negative experience this has been. I was going to upgrade all my electronics to simrad but this customer service is horrible. Can you please have someone contact me ???

3in 1Transducer is not being added to device list

We were having issues on our end getting the simrad to recognize the difference between the echo ss60 and the 3 in 1 transducer.

Trying to set up my simrad

It didn't come with a manual or a sim card. If you notice in the picture on the invoice shows, 5.5 screen but Nauticstar upgraded to the 7.0

Resolved: Mobile app service not available for several weeks

For more than three weeks now - Simrads mobile app hasn't been available which prevent system updates, mobile route planning etc. Initially the error was "503 service not available" but was after two weeks replaced by "the service is out and we are working to fix it". Now - after an additional week the service is still out. Trying to contact anyone at Simrad seems impossible. Phone numbers or service hours have cleverly been stripped from their site, The only way is to fill in a form describing your issue from their web site and then "wait" ... So far my complaints hasn't resulted in any solution. I'm still waiting.

Need help

I have a cruise 9. I purchased a Navionics chip. I cant see how to activate the units hotspot in order to sync my iPhone to the simrad. There's zero online on how to do it. Nothing specific to the cruise 9. I loaded the chip in the simrad unit. I see the wifi bars in the top left hand corner. But when I go to settings. Theres no wifi tab to connect to my iPhone. HELP!

Refund

I returned my go seven which was under warranty. I upgraded to the 9 inch model which I received and it works for just fine. I was told that I would receive a refund for the purchase price of the 7 inch model but I had to pay for the 9 inch model upfront. It has been a month since I shipped the 7 inch model back With FedEx prepaid return label. I am unable to reach anybody at the factory and talk with them. I have filed a dispute with my bank for the transaction!

Autopilot question

Second time I've tried to call for support. On hold both times for over 45 min and my place in que went from 16 to 10 in those 45 min. I want to spend $2000+ with them but I need a few simple questions answered first. I think I'll go look at Raymarine products for a solution.their products are ok but don't expect reasonable customer service.

Not happy

The unit go 7, has deleted waypoints 3 times. The first time may have been my mistake but the last 2 definitely was not. Unit deleted waypoints when I was updating. At times the unit will turn on off when hitting bumps or wakes. My last outing it dropped waypoints when I was 20 miles off shore and if wasnt for my wife I would have put my reel butt through it. Thank god I have my trusty hand held which is a garman thats 9 years old with no issues. I am just sick dealing with what I believe is a piece of junk. I talked to my friend who talked me into purchasing because he talked highly of the unit had issues with his shortly after I purchased mine. Simrad had sent him 2 more go 7 and both started the Same issues. I just want a unit that will work or my money back so I can purchase a unit that will work. Its not me but right now I feel like going the next boat show and sit by the Simrad booth and spread the word. Dont bye it.

Product issues

I have a GO9 that needs repair or replacement ! Give me an address to ship it! I waited and hour and 20 minutes to be put on hold and got disconnected when I reached 8th in-line! What is wrong with your service department? I need a phone number to talk to a real person and not waste an hour of my time. Or have a supervisor call me : Art Riegle @ 772-473-****
