Ingredients in product
I am very disgusted by the ingredients in this and many other infant formulas. The claim is its full of nutritional value, but is full of corn syrup, sugar and oils that should not be in any diet ,especially an infant. Infant formula in other countries are not allowed to use these types of ingredients. I tell everyone I know that your company and others are only interested in profit and addiction to sugar products in the future. Shame on you!!

Similac unavailability
I would tell new mothers to try any formula but Similac for their new babies. Constantly unavailable and almost impossible to get. When it does become available price is increased. In 5 1\2 months there have been at least 4 substantial increases when miraculously it becomes available.

I opened a brand new can of formula and it was missing A LOT of formula. at leave 4-6 bottles worth, this is ridiculous.

My grandson is 4 months old and doing amazing on simulac! We have been looking everywhere for formula and cant find any ! This is awful to have a new baby and no food! Why is this happening?

Very disappointed
My baby drinks similac total comfort number 1. And only to find hair inside. I'm very disappointed. As im using this milk for so long.

3 times have I gotten bad formula
3 different times Ive gotten horribke formula. The first time there were hard things in my childs formula. The second, the entire can was perfectly sealed however when I opened it the formula was hard as a rock and absolutely smelled completely rotten. This last time I made my child a bottle and in the formula was nasty hard black things.

I found a bug inside of one of the similac containers
I was making my daughter a bottle when i scooped the powder to the bottle there was a bug in it . That is really disgusting and concerning. How can i trust to use it again .

My babies formula is not currently in the recall. He takes sim. soy, however I wanted to let yall know he has recently been exhibiting the exact symptoms listed on yalls recall. Not sure if it has something to do with the recall or what but it started as the recall happened.

There’s no formula on the shelf’s of 8 businesses today
My 8 month great grandson is out of formula. What are we supposed to do? Called you on the 3rd of March for the recall, just got email that tells me to take it to Fed Ex to return nine cans of Alimentum. I cant wait for your return policy.You need to overnite deliver my damm formula. I will ship back the tainted product, but we need formula now. Dont send coupon or vouchers, theres no formula on the shelfs to buy. Call me immediately 517 219-****. I did not save my receipt. But I damm sure bought and paid for them

Child becoming sick off of other brand due to lack of Similac Pro Total comfort.
I'm not even sure how to go about writing this but I feel like something needs to be said and done. I am a first time mom of a 10 month old boy as well as a pediatric nurse working through this pandemic. So when I tell you I have seen some things and taken care of some pretty sick children, trust me when I say that. My son has been on the similac pro total comfort since he was about 3 months old after not tolerating the regular pro advance formula we had to make the switch. I tried breast feeding and was unable to do so because of him having a tongue tie and then me getting post partum depression from the stress of a newborn a new life and his struggles with breast feeding. so we switched to formula. he has tolerated this similac pro total comfort since he was 3 months old, happy tummy happy baby. He is now 10 months old and all of a sudden we can't seem to get this formula. I know, and have read many articles about the shortage and the reasoning of shortages. Again, as a pediatric nurse who has taken care of many sick children this is completely upsetting to me in more ways than one. Infant formula is their main source of nutrition for the first 12 months of life. we all know real food before one is "just for fun." so NOT be able to get a formula that my child has tolerated and been happy on since he was 3 months old breaks my heart. To me as a nurse this is almost as important as a medication that could save someones life... If someone has enough formulation to make a medication and get it distributed how can you not do the same as a Childs main source of nutrition..This shouldn't even be a THING. yes I have tried other brands such as the target up and up brand which is said to be "similar" well, it has one ingredient that is not, it is also MUCH thicker and I watched my son projectile vomit off of it the last 3 nights. I am currently pregnant and due in may, and I FEAR that my child won't be able to be on the forumula she needs to be healthy, and happy because of what? workers not wanting to work, not being able to stock shelves, shortages of raw materials and several inputs from semiconductors to packaging materials have been in short supply. Whatever the reason may be, you need to do better for our children. you can't offer a product to an infant whose gut relies HEAVILY on a certain product and then just cut it short, offer a generic brand and think they'll tolerate and thats the end of the story because its not. This makes my heart very sad for so many reasons that I hope SOMEONE can hear me and understand. WE need to do better for our children. this is a NECESSITY in first year of life for them and it should not be complicated. Similac is a trusted, tried and true brand for a reason. I hope that my letter doesn't fall on deaf ears or blind eyes. I truly hope someone hears me and can offer some kind of support or resolution to this. I understand this pandemic I do, im working in it I get it. there are many struggles everywhere in regards to distribution. but main food source should not be one. it can't be.
