Pets and luggage

Hi Good Morning I will like information on pet traveling since Im traveling from SJU PR TO US VI. What documentation do I need and what is the process my dog is 17 pounds I will also like to know about the luggage restrictions and luggage overweight policy. I have called the numbers mentioned in the silver airways page with no success in contacting someone that can answer my questions Thank you!!!

Tickets

I have called and called and called to no avail to get help with getting my airline ticket. The email will not let me get them

No refund

Our flight was canceled last minute while we were in Orlando. We had to scramble to find another flight with another airline. I applied for the refund through email as soon as we got notification our flight was canceled. 3 months later, still no refund. Ive emailed 3 times with no response. Called 20 times with no answer. Ive waited on the phone over 3 hours before. Ive asked to be called back only to have the phone ring once and hang up right at closing time.

Waiting 5 months for a hotel reimbursement because of cancelled flight

Spirit cancelled r flight from Tortola to San Juan. We had to secure a last minute room in San Juan before catching a connecting flight to fort myers. Were still waiting for our hotel reimbursement.

Poor poor service

horrible airline I am wondering how do they stay in business how do the federal aviation allow them to stay in business.For one you should have a way to communicate with an airline, no one picks up the phone i placed my phone on speaker for 4 hours and allow the phone to ring no one picked up , i requested numerous call back , have yet to receive a call back, how can we allow an airline to operate under such poor conditions and unacceptable customer service . lets talk about customer service face to face with these check in reservations omg how did pass qualification to become as airline representative they are rude ,disprectful and have to empathy after their flights are delayed which is the norm, family travelling with kids having their flight cancelled or changed every min i will be sending them this email directly also to the FAA something has got to be done .Air fare are not cheap and their fair is not that cheap where is can make up for the lack of customer service .Never ever again will i fly silver airways nor would i every recommend to anyone.

I have been trying to call customer service for 2 day, they never answer the phone. I also sent 3 messages to your customer support email address with no response. My flight of Jun 20th Flight No 3M 85 Confirmation # IFJIXP was cancelled after 2 hours sitting on the tarmac and 3 hours sitting at the gate. I haven't received my reimbursement and I would also like a monetary compensation for the hours we sat at the airport until they finally canceled the flight because the Flight Attendant walked out and left us stranded. I have filed a complaint with the FAA about Silver Airlines. I would appreciate a response ASAP.

Check in problem

They don't answer calls. I believe they intentionally merge your first and middle name to get more money from you. To check in to a non-international flight they want a passport number even if you don't have a passport.

Zero Customer Service

I've been trying to contact someone in customer service for 10 days. After numerous two hour waits on hold and 10 emails sent I still have had zero response. This company should be shut down and or investigated by the FAA! If I could give them zero rating I would. The fact that they allow you to book online, take your money and then offer zero contact until you go to the airport should be illegal!!

My flight was canceled

My flight was canceled at 3:55am this morning. My family and I flew to Orlando with silver airways. Flight was supposed to leave at 12 this afternoon. Not another flight for 2 days. The flight is 146. Not to mention is 6 of us flying with this airways. No rentals available today and have to be to work tomorrow. Not much help was customer service. I would like a full refund for the troubles they've caused. I am 8 hrs. Away from home

I received an email 4 in the morning about my flight was canceled.

My flight was canceled and there's not another flight for 2 days. Wasn't very helpful or concerned. I m 8 hrs. Away from home. My family and I went on vacation to Orlando. It's 6 of us that flew silver airways. There's no rentals available today. Not to mention I supposed to back to work tomorrow.

Silver Airways canceled a flight 3m 93 which was a nonstop flight from Ft. Lauderdale, FL to Key West that was supposed to leave on 26/May and return 29/May. . Need 2 tickets refunded for $595.98 please.

Nightmare Experience

I honestly do not know where to begin. I was truly looking forward to traveling with Silver Airways for the first time because it would be very convenient with my new job and having to travel to Orlando from Ft. Lauderdale quite often. My original flight to Orlando was on Wednesday 5/17/23 and was scheduled for 11:05 am, but ended up being delayed for over an hour, which is not a big deal, most flights get delayed. Eventually, we boarded the plane and everything was fine until take off. In the middle of take-off, full throttle about to lift off, the take-off was abandoned and full-on brakes and shutdown occurred to stop the plane. It was the scariest thing I have ever experienced. We returned to the gate due to mechanical issues and had to deplane. We waited about an hour at the airport before it was announced that our flight had been canceled, and we would receive a refund for our flight. Immediately upon notice, I ran up to the ticket counter to see if another flight was available for that day, which was not, and I found another flight to Orlando with a different airline. The woman at the counter was very helpful and seemed to be new because she had someone else come over to help with the refund for my flight from Ft. Lauderdale to Orlando due to the mechanical issue and all seemed to be fine. My return flight with Silver Airways was scheduled for Sunday 5/21/23 which I had scheduled with my husband because he joined me in Orlando for the weekend. I continued to get email notices for my flight on Sunday, from Silver Airways, and even received a notice that the flight was delayed an hour. It was when I went to check in I received an error code to contact the airline, and my husband was able to check in with no issue. I waited on the phone line for two hours until I was able to speak with an agent. The agent proceeded to tell me that I did not have a flight booked. They could not explain to me why I was still getting updates and even had my confirmation in hand for the reserved seat I had booked next to my husband. I requested to speak to a supervisor who also told me that I did not have a flight because in the system it stated that I requested a refund for my trip. I explained that I had taken a refund for my original flight that they canceled due to mechanical issues, and nothing was ever told to me that they were refunding the entire trip. She continued to tell me that the only notes in the system were that I requested a refund and nothing about the canceled flight. I also asked why I was still getting updates for my flight if they had canceled it, and she proceeded to tell me it must be a system error. Being this was their mistake, I asked to please have my flight back since the seat next to my husband was still available because I had it reserved. She said I did not have it reserved and that I would have to rebook the flight for 4x what I originally paid. I told the supervisor I had proof in hand that my seat was still reserved, and it showed my ticket was confirmed when she proceeded to tell us "refresh the page" because she completely canceled it while on the phone. It was the most disgusting experience I have ever had with any company. We proceeded to just cancel my husband's flight, rented a car that cost more than my initial flight, and drove home. I will NEVER attempt to fly with this airline again and will encourage everyone I know to also not book with this airline.

Damaged bag

I have already sent 2 emails regarding my checked bag that was damaged on April 12th. Flight from Marsh Harbour Abaco to FLL. I paid $48 to have my bag checked, only for it to be torn and a zipper broken. Ive tried call Silver Airways but have not been able to get an answer. I am highly disappointed!!

Service so horrible everyone needs to know

I want the world to know not to ever use your airline! ohhhhh where do I begin. First, on our way to Charleston we were asked to move bc of the weight. No worries. Until they literally stuck us in the back corner that had no reclining seats and no air. Everyone around us was fanning themselves like mad. We were fanning hot *** air in our face bc we were right in the bathroom. The flight attendants basically had themselves a little party, chatting loudly while resting her rear end on my friend. Now, for the return flight. We were boarded and on the runway for about 30 minutes before they brought us back and told us to get off, our plane was overheatEd. Geeeee I feel safe. They asked if we wanted our carry on off the plane. I said yes. 30 minutes later I'm told it's in baggage claim. I had to go alllll the way back out of the airport to baggage claim, get my bag, go back through security and now missed the flight. NO ONE WOULD HELP US!!! No human at a desk. I spent 6 hours total on the phone and NEVER got through. No rental cars available. I've had to pay for a hotel and I have someone driving from florida to South Carolina to get me. To this moment, flight was at 11am it's now 9pm and I have not spoke to anyone with silver. No sorry, no food voucher, no hotel. Basically just a go "f" yourself.
