MVQ has submitted charges to my credit card for more than a year. *** me. It was just under $30.00 a month so I didn't really notice. Then they got greedy and charged three transaction in a few days. I finally noticed and notified my credit card co. I feel like a total fool! This fraud needs to be investigated and those responsible should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Who are these *** anyway? And where did they obtained my credit card number? I am outraged at this. We can't trust anyone or anything these days. From now on I will request that a bill accompany any shipment I receive and will not enter any credit card number online. No more online credit card transactions for me. It will be cash only from now on. I can't believe I let this go on for more than a year. My credit card co is investigating to find out how far back this has been going on. I am pissed and ashamed that I did not detect this BS sooner. You can't be too careful. Always scrutinize all your credit card charges and report anything you do not recognize.

I noticed a charge of $21.95 on my monthly statement and found out this company Shop Essentials taking this amount out of my account since 2009 for some kind of membership that I never heard of. They said a screen flashes up while I was entering an order and completed by me. I would not recall this from 2009. I paid over $300.00 dollars for something I never heard of before. I asked to talk with the CEO George Thomas which is out of Omaha Nebraska but he takes no calls. There 877 442 **** it out of Connecticut where C/S is located. This is a very serious matter. I know nothing about this company. I would like this resolved. This company is ripping many people of their money.

Shopping Essentials fraudulently charges credit card.
This company has been charging my elderly mother's credit card for three years for a supposed "service" -- something to do with getting discounts at department stores -- she never signed up for. She is elderly and disabled and clearly has been scammed or her credit card number was stolen. She never received a service or product from them. They denied my claim on her behalf for a rebate. I see there are many complaints about them on line and I can't figure out why they haven't been put out of business. I have filed a fraud complaint with the credit card company.

Shop essential taking money out of my account without my knowledge
I have noticed that I'm getting these charges from shop essentials for amounts like 19.50 , 15.95 . I have noticed this for the last four months i thought it was from my in-style magazine but i called and cancelled that and the changes are still there. Funny part is that on m bank statements they always show the time of the purchase for most of these purchases i was at work so its impossible for me to have made these. I would love to know how all of this happened.I just cant believe people could be so cruel and take money form me

I bought two dresses from their company and took it in for dry cleaning after they were worn. When they came back they had changed colors and I was told that it was the manufactures fault and to call them. I called Pyramid Collections, they told me to send the dresses back and they will send me new ones and that was all they said. A couple days later there was a charge on my credit card for the dresses that they were sending back out to me. I called them back and they said that this was Massachusetts law and they have to charge me again and then refund me the same amount a few days later. They also said that they will refund me the cost for the return. I waited and it took over a week for the new dresses to come to me and I still did not have the refund for the shipping. I opened the package and they did not send me all of the dress. It is a two piece outfit and they only sent me one piece. I called them back and got the same run around. They would charge me again and send me out a new one. This one also too over a week to arrive and when dress number three came it had a stain on it. I called back and the same run around that they will send me a new one, charge me and I have to pay for dress number three to be sent back. They messed up and I have to pay for it and they keep telling different reasons for why they do it this way. I should not have to pay for their mistakes. I also now have to wait again for another week for my dress and pray that this time it is right since they won't look at the dress before they send it to me to make sure it is okay to send out. They have poor customer service and could careless about their products that they send out to customers cause they can keep charging you as many times as they want till either I give up or they get it right.

To anyone who has been scammed by shopping essentials...I just stupidly realized they have been charging my credit card monthly fees since early 2010. (I NEVER used them at all, or the Chadwicks site that they claimed that I had used thereby activating their service) I sent in one very firm complaint via email and all of the charges were refunded. So if this happened to you definitely give try emailing and complaining!! It worked for me and I saw it worked for some other people as well. It is worth a shot at the very least! Good luck!!

I have no idea how MVQ got my credit card number but they hit us for over $600. My husband checks our statement every month, he thought it was for vitamins I get . I called them - after a lot of hassling, they said they would stop charging and return last month's charges but no more. Later, I e-mailed them - threatened to lodge a formal complaint with the BBB and Attorney General if my money was not returned in 2 weeks. Within 2 days they e-mailed back saying they would return all of the $600 + which they did.

I wrote a letter to the owner, emailed it, and demanded my money back threatening to file a complaint if they did not respond within 48 hours. I got an email back the next day informing me they would refund the entire amount, approximately $670. A few weeks later, they did so.

This company is supposed to provide discounts and it charges up to 29.95 a month for its "service". According to them when I bought a coupon from restaurant.com, I clicked on a pop up window to get a 10% rebate and that signed me up for a free trial of Shopping essentials, which then billed my credit card ever increasing amounts for 3 years. They never sent me an email that they were auto renewing my account. They never sent me an email that they were increasing their fees. I don't know who in their right mind would pay $29.95 A MONTH to get a discount from K-Mart. This is a scam operation that has bilked me for over $500. BEWARE.

It is now official, I am stupid and did not check my credit card bills thoroughly enough. My stupidity aside, MVQ SHOPESSENTIALS is a deceptive rip-off. When I did call to get info, I was informed that I had clicked on a banner for a $20 rebate while making a purchase from Potpourri online catalogue and then registered for its "service". If I did do that, it was because MVQ... made it look as if it were a rebate from Potpourri. This was around Christimas more than a year ago - it is so embarrassing that I haven't noticed before - but at Christmas, I do a lot of online shopping and a lot of companies charge throughout the year under a corporate name other than the promotional one used for catalogues, etc. I, also, will never purchase from Potpourri again as think MVQ... really did get the rest of my info, including credit card number, from that site. I don't expect to recoup my loss - "Experience holds a dear school, but a fool will learn by no other." (Ben Franklin - but hope someone may read this before he/she falls into MVQ... or others like it's trap.

Shopping Essentials charges my credit card for $16.95 since December. I've ordered nothing. Received nothing. Don't know what I bought!!!! They piggy backed onto TimeLife when I ordered Classic Country CD's. I've called them 3 times to cancel this and they said they would, but have not. Now I don't have the telephone number. This is fraud, and I see that I'm not the only one who has been frauded by this dishonest, no-good, wicked bunch of thugs. Why are they allowed to do this? Don't I have any recourse, or will I be charged for the rest of my life???? This is serious business. I know I'll never order anything else from TV or over the phone or internet. Why aren't consumers protected from this kind of Fraud???? The category of Fraud is not listed, so I'll just select something.

Shopping Essentials - Pyramid Collection Scam
My wife ordered items from Pyramid Collection many months back, since then our credit card number has been used by Shopping Essentials who is charging us a monthly fee for no reason we were aware of, probably some fine print or an inocuous checkbox somewhere on the purchase web page. I called Pyramid Collection about it and talked to a representative who said "you must have signed up for something...", he then gave me the phone number for Shopping Essentials. It seems like they are all into this scam. This is so sneaky, and their websites show all sorts of advertising about "secure shopping" and helping the consumer., as if they really care. I have just tried to call Shopping Essentials but of course, they do not answer the phone on weekends... I can't believe this, and apparently I can't stop the payments from my bank.

My biggest mistake was that i made a purchase with cadwicks in 10/2010. Then on my card has been charged recurrently by shopping essentials. ..........I called my bank today to dispute the matter. These ppl are real thiefs.Not to mention when i called them they were not ready to refund the credit. They never send me any membership benefits just kept charging me without my consent.........Please be aware of checking ur bank account statement from time to time.And report any suspicious charge On it. ....I will call chadwicks also for dissapointing me . Remember call your bank.

Shopping Essential Theives
I bought an item in 2009 and without my knowledge I was signed up for something called shopping essentials. I still dont understand what service this company provides but I do know that they stole $15 and change from me every month for 3 years!!! I don't understand how they can get away with this!! I never recieved a bill nor a letter in the mail or even an email. It is obvious that they had my email account, credit card number, name, and address yet I know nothing about them. The Pyramid Collection Catelog gave them my information!!!!

Shopping Essentials has been billing my credit card for years
I ordered something in 2006 from the catalog IN THE COMPANY OF DOGS and ever since I have been charged EVERY MONTH for all these years (it is November 2011) for a service that I NEVER ORDERED AND NEVER EVER USED OR EVEN KNEW ABOUT. I called the company and spoke to two different people who gave me their identifying number and they said I had to write a letter to the compliance dept.WHICH I DID and I am awaiting an answer. I have contacted my credit card and we will see what happens. I feel like an *** for not checking the transaction part of my bill. I just look at the amount and the due date and pay it. I am an old woman who lives alone with my dogs and I feel VERY taken advantage of. The fraudulent charges are over $1000.00 dollars.
