Jobs don’t offer shitsmart

My husband went for a 20 min drive to a Shiftsmart and the manager said they dont do Shiftsmart anymore so he had to go back home and waste time and gas for nothing.

Not being paid

I was signed up to work 6 assignments for Shiftsmart. Two of those assignments I showed up to work. Both of those times, I was turned away. And told by the store manager, they had no work for me. Because I didn't work, I was considered as a "no show". My reliability score is 66.67%. If your reliability score is less than 70%, you are locked out of seeing shift availability. I have been emailing Shiftsmart to correct my score since July 11. To no avail Furthermore, I have not been paid for 2 shifts that I worked. July 13 and July 14 There is a simple solution to this. Shiftsmart MUST get a customer service number to call. With this, problems can be alleviated quickly. Under the current situation, emailing is futile. It does not take 3 weeks to resolve a problem!

Not paid for 2 shifts and took me off platform

I was turned away for one shift which I was compensated on. Worked another shift and they approved it the next day. I went to cash out and it had said they removed me from the platform! I never got to cash out. I sent messaged and it says solved which it hasnt been solved. I want my money back!!! Worst customer service. No direct phone lines. I will do a class action lawsuit, they need to be shut down!

Turned away for start time. Cashier very rude

The cashier from yesterday blamed me after she was so rude so no pay. Today I was turned away from a store because they didnt need a cleaner. Messaged Shift Smart. Been sitting in the parking lot for almost 2 hrs. And GOS is on. Marked me as a no show and not wanting to pay me at all for this. This job is how I support my family. Highly upset. Ive missed $108 that I needed to pay my rent.

Missing funds

Hello Im reaching out because I am missing funds. I went to a store yesterday spoke to Dontae at store 470**** **** applying rd I was turn away because he didnt need me. Now I dont see any payment for me for that day. Where is my money. I was there but it looks like someone deleted it away because I dont see it any more

Payment issue

I have been having many issues with speaking to a humanoid over the phone. They have zero customer support phones numbers to call if you have an issue with a shift or payment like me. The numbers that are listed are unreachable by call. They say to text the numbers instead they dont respond. Probably because its not a real working direct phone line/texting. I tried emailing them through my personal email address that I use and am signed up within the shiftsmart app but they do not respond back. Ive wrote two emails to their support email address. A week apart from each other. Still no response. Theres only two logical explanations of why I cant reach them and why they should have a direct phone line for customer support because within the shiftsmart app they have either blocked me from messaging them inside the app by clicking the question mark at the top right corner OR there is a technical issue as to why I have done everything on my side to try to fix the problem like making space on my phone, fast wifi, delete and reinstall the app, logging out and logging back in and nothing is working. Its been like this for a month now so Im beginning to think this isnt a uncontrollable technical error with the plate form. Otherwise when I worked a shift a few days ago on July 21 of 2023, tell me why I was able to clock in for my shift within the app but when it was time to clock out see a notification saying I my shift was canceled so I was unable to clock out with the code and it disappears from view on my schedule as if I didnt work that 4 hours and if I cant reach customer support directly when there is technical issue or a grimy company issue trying to take my money then who am I to contact or how if there is no one and no other way directly outside of the app. I believe its intentional because everyone who has common sense knows electronic devices and especially internet media plateforms always have bugs and errors to fix constantly on numerous occasions. So what Im suppose to hold my breathe while the company figures out they owe me money *** no. This isnt slavery or volunteer work. There was an agreement of hourly pay and for how many hours able to work in a shift so seeing as I WORKED.. GIVE ME MY MONEY!! Enough with the BS.

Manager turned me away

My name is Zuri Goodwin and I was supposed to work in phenix city at the circle k and I was turned away by the cashier. She called her manager and asked for the codes for me to sign in and start my shift but the lady came back and told me that her manager said it was only supposed to be one shift working today and that shell fix it in her side. I wasnt able to get the manager name but I am supposed to be compensated for the full 12 hours. I wasnt notified about them not needing me and they waiting til I arrived to tell me that they didnt need me.

Went to a shift & they didn’t need me

On July 17 2023, at 11: 40 I arrived to my shift. Location was 7700 US 90 Morgan City La 70380. When I got there the manager did not need me. At this point this was my first shift when I wasnt needed. Since this was my first time that they didnt need me I didnt know what to do on the app Now Im marked as a no show but I was there.

Customer service and payment issue isn’t a small issue.

The company has good pay. However the company customer service responses are like bots. They dont have a customer service number the ones listed on here are dead tone numbers. When you go to check in at some location it will say youre too far even tho youre standing directly in the store. When you go to check on you have to be at the location. Even tho youre there it will say youre not. Which will result and payment delay or rejection. Its been 8 days now and I still have yet to get paid. I did another shift today. I wasnt able to clock in again. Normally I dont have issues with payment delay tho this time is outrageous.

I have gone to numerous merchandiser shifts at Circle K and Loaf N Jug here in Colorado Springs Co. arrive at my scheduled time and end up getting turned away! I have lost money due to this and feel i should still be compensated for the 2 most recent shifts that I was turned away from.

I work shift and takes long for payment then they try to say instant pay for fee. I've waited already why when it is available then it's called instant pay for fee. Plus never the correct amount of payment to start then add fee and you have made less. Also have to fight back and forth weeks sometimes for months to recieve the payment and even then may not be correct. Run from this company if you want to keep peace of mind . They do not respond to messages they truly suck.added photo today's date is June 13th still waiting for pay from 4/20

The shift I have shown up to is not paying me for anything my show up are saying no sho when Im there and other are saying I didnt clock out its just doing to much Im a good worker for this company and would like someone to reach out to me please I just wanna be paid .also I have proof of the shift Ive been showing up

Missing payments

I have worked for them twice and I sent them several messages support messages emails everything they can tell you to do they get help regarding my payment for the shift that I work and I still have not gotten one response from anyone regarding my pay is been more than a month, and no one has gotten back to me regarding my pay nobody will respond to me, but they want me to keep excepting shifts! This is beyond crazy how I cannot get any help whatsoever even though I have all my proof of my work performed and the shifts Ive worked! I feel like they are saying hey thanks for the work, but were not gonna pay you. Heres my proof!!

I informed store #270**** that I was going to be late due to I was coming from other job.I communicated through shiftsmsmart app.my shirt was to start at 6pm-10pm.I arrived between 6:34pm-6:41pm.i went In introduced myself that I'm from shiftsmart.The lady @ the register stated she didn't know how it work.A young that was there tried looking for code he couldn't find it.So they called management & explained what was going on I was told management stated they didn't need me.Mind u my shift was canceled. I DID NOT CANCELED MY SHIFT.

Unpaid work and disregard for contractors by Shiftsmart.

I would join a class action lawsuit against Shiftsmart Shiftsmart with pleasure. I have 1 $50 shift I did not get paid for so far due to Shiftsmart's faulty app full of bugs, and 0 support and communication from Shiftsmart staff. They even removed all phone numbers where a Shiftsmart contractor could speak with a live person from Shiftsmart support to get assistance if they could not check in or out of the shift, or had other issues. The in-app message feature that they have instead of the phone numbers is created to fool the contractors. Every time I had issues with check-in or out codes because their app pinned the Circle K store to the wrong GPS location, and the app would not let me check in with the codes at the store, or a store manager not leaving check-in and out codes for me with their employees, I sent them messages with photos and screenshots to prove and create support tickets, THE MESSAGES WERE IGNORED AND NEVER ANSWERED. Some support tickets received brush of answers. None of my concerns were EVER addressed, nor problems were fixed. Examples: 1. It was my second shift for Shiftsmart. I arrived at the Circle K Store at IH35 in San Antonio I was assigned to work an evening shift at. The manager left for the day and left no Shiftsmart check in and out codes with the store employees, the store employee could not reach the manager by phone. I sent messages to Shiftsmart-no response. I had to cancel the shift. Result-my rating dropped. I created a support ticket-no response, and nothing got resolved. 2. November 13, 2022. I was assigned a shift as a merchandiser. Followed the driving directions in the Shiftsmart app. As it turned out the app had the wrong address listed and plugged into the navigation part of the app. It took me to the location 30 min. away from the actual store location. I called the store, got driving directions from the employee, and arrived at the store to find out that I could not check in with the Shiftsmart codes because their app had the wrong GPS location for the store. I sent a message to Shiftsmart through the app. The store employee said that I was one of the many Shiftsmart contractors that ran into the same problem with their store location listed by Shifstmart incorrectly. They all had to leave without completing their shifts. She said that their manager sent multiple messages to Shiftsmart about the issue, and was yet to get any response. I sent a message to Shiftsmart from inside the store, including the photos from inside the store, photos of the check-in and out codes, and the screenshots of the app refusing to accept my check-in attempts and of the GPS location where I was inside the store and of the place where their app GPS took me. 0 response. I had to leave without working the shift. Shiftsmart posted a Missed Shift on my profile and dropped my rating. It caused me almost 2 hours of my time, gas money, and loss of $52 I was not able to earn. 3. 12/13/22. Drove to Circle K store 274**** at 7530 NW Loop 410 in San Antonio, TX to work a 7 pm-11 pm shift as a cleaner. Used their in-app driving directions which took me to the wrong location- 7210 NW Loop 410. The store address was listed in the app at the right location, but the store was pinned to the wrong GPS location. When I finally arrived at the correct store location after using the maps app on my phone, the Shiftsmart app did not let me check in with their Shiftsmart code claiming that I was more than 0.1 miles away from the store based on their GPS tracker. I messaged Shiftsmart AGAIN. No response from them AGAIN (even 2 days later). I decided to stay and work the shift this time to avoid being marked as a no-show. The employees at the store wrote down my first and last name and my check-in and out time (7:09 pm to 12:12 am) to pass it on to the store manager in the morning so that he would confirm with Shifsmart that I did complete my shift once they would call the following morning. The following morning arrives. I check my payments and see that my payment of $50 was rejected. No explanations anywhere, NOTHING at all. I send another message to Shiftsmart, no response. I create a support ticket, and get a response from Rahul P from Shiftsmart saying that he cannot help and that I should send a MESSAGE THROUGH THEIR in-app MESSAGE SYSTEM! Like I did not try it already! And that the Circle K Support team will be handling any Shiftsmart issues from now on by the way. No info on how to contact the Circle K Support Team, and HOW Circle K WOULD BE able to fix bugs in their navigation part of the app that keeps screwing up Shiftsmart contractors!!! I call the store where I worked on 12/13/22 and speak with an assistant manager. Turns out that the store manager had not read the note left for him by the employees from the night before when Shiftsmart called him in the morning to get a confirmation if I worked. The assistant manager showed the note to the manager while we were on call, and said that the only way I would get paid if I were to contact Shiftsmart and ask them to call the store manager again, and he would confirm my completing my shift on 12/13/22. I send another message to Shiftsmart with 0 response. Result: I was NEVER PAID $50 that I earned, 5 hours of my life+ driving time+the cost of gas. I would like to see how Shiftsmart execs and employees would like not getting paid for the work they do! They do not treat contractors right: our time and labor do not matter to them. They started a company and wrote an app full of bugs that are not fixed in a timely manner, they are too cheap to hire enough employees for customer support to address in a timely manner legitimate concerns that contractors have. They do not have any real-time communication channels. They readily collect their commissions from the businesses they partner with, but they are unwilling to work properly for the money that they make from the app. I think that BBB and the Labor Department should look into this business's business model and its lousy execution. They should be made to pay contractors what they owe, and if they cannot improve their services, the company should lose its business license!
