Home loan

I've been trying to contact this company and nothing. Phone numbers doesn't work and no emails replied. Stay away from them

Calls from my cellphone are blocked

"Your call cannot be completed at this time. Please try again later." I get this msg for ANY number I call that is listed for NewRez, Shellpoint, or any of their servicing companies. Same result from each of these numbers: 866-317-**** 888-673-**** 833-914-**** 800-365-**** 866-221-**** 833-422-**** Come to find out, I only get this msg when I call from MY cell phone which is the number listed on my account with NewRez. Calling from any other number goes thru. Seems like my number has been blocked from contacting them. Is this legal?

Trying to get partial release to sell piece of property

My 3 acres is subdivided and I want to sell half of it. I requested a partial release to remove the lien on that piece. The debt to value of the property is very low, so the partial release wouldn't affect the loan "security". I have been trying for THREE WEEKS to speak to an actual person in the correct department. The loan servicing agent, NewRez, cannot (or will not) put me in contact with the correct department except by email. I was told the loan needs to be 12 months old for a partial release...mine is 10! I have been trying to speak to someone in hopes of manually overwriting the 2-month discrepancy. This is tying up a large sum of money and the land contract has expired while waiting on a simple callback. NewRez is worthless, and I will never be involved with them again. Repeatedly told me they would call me and here it is 3 weeks later. Avoid like the plague.

Idid not receive the intrest payment form 1098-mis form for 2022

Phone numbers shown on website do not provide option to speak to a customer service person regarding the above matter I will rate your service once I receive the form showing mortgage interest paid in 2022 You can contact me at +126******** I am not a pissed consumer Just need some info

Make a payment

Your customers service number does not work in my call area so I had to go to the website. I finally downloaded the app. Hope that works in the future.

Just want others to be aware of this company.

Wouldn't recommend shell point mortgage to any one.we had nothing but problems with this place they always try to too change us late fees beacuse they say they didn't receive are payment that's garbage when we can prove they did . don't choose this place.we didn't have a option are other mortgage sold it to this company .

Called prior to the 15th of the month

Except for last month I have always made my payment prior to the 15th of the month. I am a little upset that I got a call the other day prior to the 15th.

This company is AWFUL

If you call and speak to 8 Customer Service individuals, you will get 10 different incorrectly and untruthful answer. This Company will lie, they do not return calls, they do not reply to emails, however be mindful of Shellpoint, they will start forclosure on your propery. Continue to lie to you, have you thinking they're working with you. I found out on August 25th, there was a forclosure sell scheduled for my propery on September 02. Only becasue several of the "We Buy Homes As Is" companies called wanting to purchase my propery, finally asked one company where did they get my number and why was so many companies calling me, did one of they say, your property is scheduled for foreclosure sell in 6 days, at which time I had to run out the next day and get a attorney to stop to madness. Run, Do not use this company.

Mortgage Payment

Haven't been able to pay mortgage for 2 months. I am not working right now. I am a single Mother raising a 16 year old. Don't have a phone to call from.

They ignore HAF and try to trick you into a 40 year loan instead.

HAF rescue plan can offer many homeowners a way to reduce their loan prinicipal by 40k. Additionally brings don't interest rate to a zero After being screwed over years ago by the very eviI wells fargo, I learned my lesson and always am on the lookout for similar *** mortgage companies/servicers. Shellpoint is the worst. They never sent out required HAF notices. And when consumers apply for HAF loans they are being super sneaky and offering 3 month trial plan along with an absurd 40 year mortgage. What happens to the borrower if they make the 3 tiral payments and sign off on this offer, is that they are then considered current. Since they are current they are then denied HAF. These creeps need to be sued.

Horrible gauging liars unwilling to help

Bought house in 2017 Dec. Through homebridge. The rate was outrageous so we went for a modification. It took us 1 months to compile about 200 documents with sensitive information. Then in the middle of it all after they received it. The sent a letter saying they got sold out to another company. And they LOST all of our information. Proclaiming us now bad people for not paying they gave us to shellpoint collection. Now we are suffering and paying mortgage insurance on top of escrow and high rates They have REFUSED to help us. Instead have se t us deeper in debt. We got a forbearance due to covid 19. But that's made it worse for us now after 5 yrs we have to sell our home and leave just to get away from this company where nobody speaks english.

Classaction lawsuit

These company is the worst, they request the same documents over and over. They send letters stating they have everything and 3 weeks later they notify that your modification was not approved because you fail to submit your requested documents. Based on all the reviews here with the same identical issues, we definitely have a lawsuit. I'm going to see my attorney on Monday to discuss the possibility of a lawsuit. It's like they want you to just give up taking there crap so that they can come in and take your home. Please respond if you agree, I know a lot of people have lost there homes due to this company's incompetence and to say it's an umbrella company for Bank of America.
