Server 601610 Alondra

Today, August 20th 2023, my bride and i visited your store in Shoreline,WA number 196. While i was otherwise occupied, my bride was questioned by Alondra and her supervisor about her visiting this store "2-3 weeks ago". Both individuals were upset that my bride Rebecca, had made a purchase using a gift card that apparently had some issues. After i joined her at the table, Alondra repeated her concerns to me. The problem i have with thisis, I nor Rebecca have visited the store during this time nor have we EVER use a gift card. Alondra was very steadfast in her argument that it was Rebecca and she had used a gift card. We brought up the possibility of her being mistaken and that set her off stating "i dont habr to be offended by you" and we asked for her name whixh she refused to give. Now we do not have an issue with Sharis but, we do not nor should we be subjected to these type of hostile, aggressive acts by yours or anyones employees. A; if it is an issue with the gift card, dont those automatically give an error when using them? b; if the employee doesn't have the name or, at least a picture with the person using the questionable card How in the world can you confront a couple wrongly about the issue you had? c; How can you accept this type of behavior from your employee and a SUPERVISOR? This seems VERY WRONG TO ME AND MAKES THIS AGGRESSION EVEN MORE DISTURBING THAT YOUR SUPERVISOR IS ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THESE UNWARRANTED ACTIONS!!! Disgusting food conditions

Went and ordered lunch had chicken fried steak, poached, eggs gravy on the side when the waitress delivered the food she was staring at my food rather unusual. She said it down sit Ill be right back with your gravy by the time she brought the gravy back I said theres a piece of ice on my hashbrowns and she said how did that get there and I said well I am only drinking coffee. Theres no ice at this table and you were staring at it when you said it down. Why did you even put it down? She said, do you want just new hashbrowns with the meal remade I said the meal remade in the meantime The waitress with her gloves went and cleared off two other tables stuck her fingers in the top of the glass to pick it up, and I noticed her fingers were in the other customers water. She put it in the tray where they put dirty dishes immediately walked to the kitchen. I watched her from the counter. She picked up my food, and brought it back, and I said I cannot in good faith eat that she had your fingers in somebody elses drink and clean dirty tables and you never changed your glove. I asked to see the manager the manager was not available for me to get the waitress said your meal would be free and I said of course its free. Im not eating it and I left.

Complaint

Went to Sharis in Redmond, Or this am. Waited 1 1/2 hours to get our cold breakfast. When complained to manager, he was so rude and sarcastic that 3 people waiting to be seated left the restaurant because of his behavior. Im 74 yrs old and have neveff to been spoken to like he did as far as so bad, so sad. There were large groups that were seated after us that were already done with their meals when we left our cold food that had just arrived on our table. Poor attitude was consistent from manager to servers. Service here stinks and someone needs to intervene. Gentleman leaving at same time arrived after us, said he had returned their order twice before it was right. I wasted my time and still left hungry!

So very disappointed

My husband and I have been customers of Sharis restaurant since it first opened in our city of Union Gap, Washington. We loved the food and especially all the people who worked there. They made us feel less like patrons, and more like friends. It has always been our favorite place to go. Conveniently located made it more ideal. So when it recently closed we were shocked and disappointed. We have another Sharis in our valley but they are located far to the west and their water supply is chlorinated and not filtered, which means we can never order a soft drink or just have plain water. In our city the water is untreated well water. So it is with great sadness we hate to see our Sharis leave our little town.

I never received my W-2 from last year

Hello, sorry to bother you but my name is Gabriel Schaefer. I worked at Sharis last year for about 11 months. I never received my W-2 in the mail my fiancé work there one month last year and she received hers right away. I am still waiting I dont know whats going on. Ill try to contact the manager and she said it was on hot schedules which was already suspended please get back to as soon as possible thank you have a great day

Horrible experience

Took my mom to have dinner in the Lancaster Dr, Salem, OR, Sharis restaurant tonight. Ordered French dip and eggs Benedict as they only had one order of French dip. Had to wait for our coffee which was ok. Took forever to get our food as there was only one cook, which we understood. All our food was cold, forgot our French dip sauce and was cold when we got it. Took almost 10 minutes to microwave it. 15 minutes for new hot fries. We had to ask for refills of coffee. After being there for 90 minutes we finally were told our eggs Benedict was almost ready by a different server. By this time we were done and said we did not want it. Our server was very rude and I asked to see the manager. The manager was very condescending to my 78 year old mother and me. No one apologized once. The manager said we ate it so it must of been ok and had to pay for it. Told her we havent even got half our meal yet as we only had the French Dip and fries we shared. She got very rude and kicked us out. I said I was fine paying for what we ate. She basically said to get the F out of the restaurant. Ive been going there for over 20 years and have always had great food and service. Im absolutely embarrassed and upset on how we were treated and talked to in front of other customers. May never go to a Sharis restaurant again.

Manager

Me and two others went for dinner about 6:00 pm on Thursday August 11th, 2022 at Shari's on S. Commercial in Salem, Ore. When we first got there, they were just starting to get the dinner crowd. Nobody was there in the host or Hostess position. Finally, the waitress, Kitty, came to seat us. We can see only the cook as another employee there. Sometime later, the manager comes walking in, phone in hand, and proceeds to the restroom. A couple of minutes later she comes out, phone still in hand, and supervises the busboy changing a light. After that, we did not see the manager do anything but Goof Off. Never once did we see her lift a finger to help the waitress, Kitty, who is running the whole front end. Finally, the manager came back onto the floor, then grabbed the bus boy and says they are going somewhere they'll be back soon. When Kitty asked them to stay, she was told they would be back in a little bit. Over the next 15 minutes that we were there, nobody came back. The cook and kitty were the only two people running the whole place. They did a great job with what they were given, but when you have a manager scheduled, you should expect that manager to at least help her waitress. We were totally disgusted by the actions of this manager. The cook ran the kitchen, and kitty ran everything else. She did a great job, but the manager should be fired.

The food was absolutely gross! I ordered a breakfast burrito that looked fine on the outside, but the inside was mucky and tasted yucky! The sausage was grey and the hash browns tasted like old grease

Told the waitress the food was inedible but wasnt compensated even though I ordered something different that I figuired they couldnt mess up.. but I was wrong. The cinnamon roll was made of same weird brown stale bread that had gritty separated frosting on it. The waitress just said the cook was new

I have not received my W-2

I have been trying to get a hold of corporate for 2 weeks now to get my W-2 since the 31st and I still have not received anything and we are filing our taxes on February 15th so I would appreciate it if somebody got a hold of me my phone number is 308-230-****

Poor dinner quality

On Thanksgiving I went to Sharis in King City for a turkey dinner about 3PM. When the meal came the green beans were not tipped. They still had the stringy ends where the bean connects to the vine. I have never seen beans served like that. I have had many good meals in years past but this is the worst by far. The stuffing was also not as good as StoveTop. Very glutony and mooshy. It took me many minutes to find where to advise you instead of complaining to TripAdvisor.

Unacceptable Behavior by Upper Management

This afternoon (8/1/21) around 4pm, my colleague and I were ending a long Brunch/Lunch @ the Shari's in Kelso, WA. It was a lovely, pleasant afternoon, that was ended by unacceptable behavior by Upper Management. They were seated 2 tables from us, at an angle. We were able to hear the conversation in question. The two women Managers in question, were Stacey Golar and Carolynn Miller. They were there, to take care of a situation with an employee. They proceeded to, reprimand the employee in the middle of the restaurant. We were not the only table that was busy. The young employee was asking for help and the conversation was getting heated and louder. It got to the point, where the staff member finally stated, that if Management was not happy, that they should go ahead and fire her. The manager who was not wearing a mask, was the loudest and getting very angry. As a retired manager and with an educational background in HR Management and Organizational Development, I was floored by the behavior of these managers. You don't demean employees in front of their co-workers and customers, in your establishment. I am ashamed @ what I saw @ that restaurant. Shari's Restaurant should terminate those two managers and have a consultant come in, to have a conversation with the employees on how management should behave. As we walked up to pay our bill, I was disgusted to see &; hear, the restaurant supervisor(she said she was new and she is the one who gave me the names numbers of the 2 managers) speaking to other employees and discussing the employee who was being reprimanded. It is the most disgusting behavior and your District Manager/s should be held accountable. Please do the right thing, towards your employees. Golar and Carolyn Miller
