Complaint

My car failed its mot, That in it self is not the actual issue, the issue is that they failed it saying the brakes were dangerous and car shoukd not be driven. They wanted over £1000 to do the work. I got the car checked at another garage and was told the back brakes still had 40% left and front had 50% left. I cannot believe they allow such a scam. My car was also damaged by the garage. When picked up it was inspected and was no damage, after pickingnit up there was damage to rear bumper/fog light and parking sensors and damage to wing mirror. It was also supposed to be serviced and fliuds topped up. Oil hasnt be changed, fliuds havent been topped up, i thinknthey just reset the service light

Servicing stop were friendly and helpful. However i had some issues with the garage they chose for my service and mot. The mot failed on some points that could be easily sorted but the garage refused to do any work on the car as I had gone through a third party. Also the garage chosen was outside of my area so I had to wait until after 6pm for the car to be returned. I remedied 2 simple repairs the next day and have managed to book into my usual garage for the other repairs this week.

Unprofessional service, DONT EVER USE

My 1st appointment was cancelled and another was rescheduled. On the day they where meant to pick up my car between 8-11am. I got a call after 11am to say they can't come and get it. They wasted my time once again and think its ok and now I've got to wait 7-10 working days for my money back. Absolutely disgusting

Car not picked up

Have not been able to contact anyone to resolve this problem and the company have happily taken my money over 2 weeks ago. Very pore customer service

Non collection of car

I booked and paid for a service and mot for collection today but no one has collected I have email confirmation of booking and payment. They dont have a phone number to speak with customer service- have to go to their website but their live chat puts you through to an engineer who cant answer query! No one is answering emails or messages Very disappointed with this service. Either pick up my car or give me a refund so I can book with a more reliable company

Do not use this Servicing Stop company. It is a total scam

I recently had my car fully serviced and MOT'd by Servicing Stop. When I got the car back, after being charged £934, there was a bulb out, that I had to pay another garage to replace, so Servicing Stop hadn't done it. One month later, and my car died on me when I was coming off from a Motorway Slipway. I had to be towed home, and now the car will not even start. How can a car that was only fully serviced and MOT's one month before, not even be able to start. If it was fully serviced it should have been fine. I do not trust Servicing Stop. I believe that my car is in a worse condition now than before the car went to their garage. I believe that I was charged £934 to have my car damaged by them, so that I will have to go back to them and be charged more. I regret ever booking my car in for work done using Servicing Stop. As soon as the work had been done a light came on in the car that had never gone on before, and now I have had to be towed home, and I no longer have a car to drive. Please do not trust this company. You will regret it.

Car missing

I have never used this service before but thought I would try it as seemed convenient. Very difficult to get hold of anyone initially but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Firstly, they did not arrive to collect car until 10.30 am I.e half sn hour late. They then telephoned me in the afternoon from their office in London (my car was in Edinburgh) to say it needed a lot of work and gave me a very expensive quote but didn't feel I had much choice at that point so agreed that they would keep car and do work the following day. I heard no more until I received an invoice at 4.30 yesterday afternoon which I paid promptly as I assumed they would not return car otherwise. Car has still not been returned as we speak; I have phoned, emailed, even phoned the Garage but no reply on any of these. I am now going to phone the Police to report my car as stolen

I paid £188.78 for a service and MOT on 10th June. You cancelled this booking on 11th June due to the fact that you could not accommodate my vehicle. I am still waiting for the money to be returned to my account

To stop anyone else being shafted

I used service stop last year and was very pleased with the service from them.I have recommended service stop to many friends.. Sadly my experience this year was most distressing and totally ruined my day. A very nice man picked up my car. And took it to Chertsey service &mot garage 8a chertsey bridge rd.. Later that day a man named Dean phoned he bombarded me with all the extra work I needed doing he spoke so fast and badly I could hardly understand him,he said it would cost £695 and he could arrange interest payments over 6 months, he said I had to pay before the work went ahead. I got off the phone and realised I was being conned so desperately tried phoning back Many times, all I got was an automated voice called Vicky I left a message saying not to go ahead with work as I didnt have the funds. He phoned back and said I had to pay £60 for the oil and if I didnt pay I wouldnt get my car back. Also I tried contacting you (service stop) to get you to step in, I tried many numbers., frustratingly theres no one to talk to, if there had been someone to talk to to help deal with this awful man, it would have made all the difference ( I thought Service Stop was there for that very purpose. I feel totally abused by this Dean,, and I feel he stole £60 from me, also there is no receipt from him saying what cost the extra £60. Neither is there a quote for all the extra things needed to be done on my car to warrant £695. Total ripoff

The car went in for a MOT and service. The car has 21000 miles on the clock. Was called and advised that it needed new discs and the handbrake had to be adjusted. The cost £900. I asked what was needed. and they said the discs was optional. They then said it was £400 and if I didnt do the handbrake I would have to recover the car. I agreed for them to do the work to pass the MOT. I then received an email saying I had approved replacing the brake fluid and a lifetime fuel flush. I immediately contacted them on the chat to say I never approved those 2 items. They said that this had already been done. I asked how was that possible when I had just put down the phone. They said they would get someone to call me back. This never happened and then the bill for the car came and it was £520. The brake fluid was £120 + VAT and the fuel treatment £110 + VAT. It seems also the other prices were excluding VAT Please dont use this company. They hold your car to ransom and rip you off
