Impossible to delete account/Customer Support no help at all

I have not used this service in over 6-years as the quality of the product did not justify the prices paid. I'm trying to clean up old, unused profiles and found that there's no way to do it from my sendflowers account. Everyone I've spoken to in customer service is unable to help. They keep repeating the same canned response about logging into fromyouflowers.com, which makes no sense at all since my credentials don't work on that site. The bottom line is SendFlowers does not allow users to remove/close their own account and have no desire, or technical expertise, to do so themselves. Stay away from this company. Your best bet is to find and directly contact a local florist wherever you're trying to have flowers sent. You'll get better quality flowers and much better service.

Poor Customer Support and Never Delivered

BUYER BEWARE!!! I ordered flowers for my best friend who lives 800+ miles away for Mother's Day, paid extra for weekend delivery, and they never arrived despite receiving an e-mail that they had. I went back and forth with chat and e-mail for hours, first about the fact that I hadn't received an update in status nearing or after the 6:00 delivery cutoff, and then that it said delivered, and it hadn't been delivered. Furthermore, I received the same copied and pasted scripted responses from four separate chat and email CS reps, apologizing for the inconvenience and promising to reach out to me via e-mail once the delivering florist responded to them. When I say hours, I mean hours. I finally called the phone number on the website and was on hold for 12 minutes before speaking to a real live human. I was put on hold for another 5 minutes, only to be told that it was after hours and they wouldn't be able to call the florist until tomorrow. I had to argue with the person on the phone to cancel the order and give me back my money. They kept pushing a partial refund on a gift card, we went in circles with me demanding my money back for two to three full minutes. They put me on hold for another three minutes to get approval from their supervisor and then came back to inform me they would cancel the order. This should never have been this difficult. If you cannot meet the demand, do not make the promise. And when someone asks for their money back, refund it. Dont offer partial refunds on gift cards for your company that has already let us down. I will never use this company again and I encourage others to spend a little more and use a reliable company.

I got the message of the refund but hasn’t seen it in my statement… I never got my delivery in the time stated… each time I tracked the order it never has a clear understanding of what is happening …

Never got the flowers delivered even though they advertised same day delivery. When I called they said that it will be delivered the following day. Who wants flowers the day after their I birthday???.

Received flowers a whole day late

Every received my flowers. I call and the person was hella rude would not give my money back. Plus told them I did not want the flower. They told me oh well. Theres nothing they can do. Then the next day I received just sitting on my steps. WILL NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!

Guarantee satisfaction

Order # 10323**** I initiated this order on 12/31 and my order is still not delivered!! I asked for a all delivery charges of $13.99 and an extra $2.99 be taken off my bill and refunded. Instead I only got $5.71 credit!! This is totally unacceptable, Ive placed many orders with your company over the years and this is not what you advertised as Guarantee Satisfaction! Please resolve my issue!! Plus, I can not understand what your agent was saying, very bad English!

No delivery and frozen flowers

Delayed then no delivery to Des Plaines. Canceled both orders. But flowers delivered to Cowper In Evanston. This delivery was totally unsatisfactory: frozen flowers!! I insist on refund for both orders: DesPlaines and Evanston. I realize the weather was not ideal for delivery of Christmas flowers.

Undelivered Christmas flower arrangement

I spoke with customer service twice and emailed 3 times and the 54.00 arrangement I ordered was never delivered. They keep telling me the florist says it was delivered and signed for by my mother in law, however they refuse to give me the name of the florist!

Confirming flower order

Are my funeral flowers going to be delivered?!! I have reported to my credit card company! No contact numbers for you! As this was an order for my departed partner I am very stressed. I will have to order a very small tribute now after spending £85 with you. Bad on you!!!

Unable to deliver

I ordered a gift basket for a birthday. They were unable to deliver the first day, but promised they would be able to do it a day late. That second day, still they cannot deliver! The customer service is awful, lots of holds and "I need to ask my supervisor", and they shift blame to the florists and the customer. They tried to frame the situation to be partially my fault! Terrible. I spent around 60 minutes with customer service (mostly on hold) on 3 calls over 2 days before they refunded my money. I think they partially rely on pissed consumers giving up. Please search for more reliable companies, I know they exist.

Bait and Switch

Ordered Christmas arrangement online..after waiting for delivery to friend as a Christmas gift. I called and was told delivery was made..it was not..I confirmed it with my friend..then after calling customer service a few hours later a poor replacement was delivered..

Balloons sent a week before the delivery date

I ordered balloons for my grandsons birthday to be delivered on 9/17. They delivered them on 9/10. This was a real disappointment because Im not going to be with him on his birthday and I wanted it to be a surprise. The florist wasnt very nice about. After being persistent I got a refund. Wont be using Send Flowers anymore!!!!

Horrible.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. My dying mother never received her flowers on her Birthday and they didn't refund me nor provide much help. I ordered on 7/26/21 and set the delivery date for 7/30/21. It is now 8/1 and still no flowers. They said they could try to get the flowers to her next week, maybe 8/2 or 8/3. I don't even know if she will be alive next week, I explained this to a Supervisor and she didn't seem to care, zero sympathy, zero emotion. This is a company that does not care about their customers. I was on the phone with them for the past 3 days, this time the conversation took over 35 minutes, and I got nowhere. They offered partial refunds, but what does that matter in this situation? My mom received no gifts on her birthday and I can't physically see her because of COVID. This company should go out of business. What if this had been for a funeral? I can imagine their response now: "Oh sorry, we will send an apology letter to the funeral home with upgraded flowers". No thanks. Stick to 1-800Flowers, I have never had an issue with them. No amount of upgrades or refunds can repair the damage, pain and suffering that was caused by using this company.

Inferior Flowers sent

The flowers are half dead, drooping and just sad. I sent this to brighten someone's day who has had surgery. This display is just embarrassing. I am embarrassed that the recipient thinks I sent this pathetic display. This is ridiculous. I could have purchased an arrangement from the grocery store for $9.99 that would have been better than this. Below is what I ordered versus what was received. The company's solution was to refund $10.32, the flowers were $49.43.

Flower order delivered late

Ordered roses for my wife for Valentine's Day one week before, Friday delivery, they contacted me and told me they couldn't be delivered before the 16th, so I agreed. They were sent VIA UPS and left by my front door and it was extremely cold on that day. OK, I bring the flowers into the house and they were wilted and I figured they may recover. I put them in water with the supplied food and presented them to my wife. Within and hour the petals began falling off. I contacted the company and they said they would replace the order but we were headed out of town the following day so I asked them to either schedule in the future or give me a refund. After getting no response, I opened a dispute with PayPal.
