Awful company
We were hit by Ian and put our entire house back together without insurance money. Select Portfolio Servicing has an inspection at 85% complete from months ago and will not release out $430,000 check that they have had for 3 weeks. They had another inspection done 2 weeks ago that will show house is 100% complete and they still will not release money. I am a Realtor and I would never recommend anyone use this company. They say they will call back and they don't. We have been through so much with the insurance company and the storm and now the bank has to put us through *** as well. Shame on them!

Unless I am missing something, it is impossible to simply call your company and get a live person on the telephone to ask them some questions. I cant even get to an automated system because I do not have an account with you. My telephone number is 608-712-****.

I was issue a check from the i insurance company regarding damage to our roof. I deposit to my bank n now the bank i reverse check saying I it was a fraudulent check n the bank is charging me I

Horrible company, there is NO customer service. I paid off my mortgage over 3 months ago, and they never recorded a satisfaction of mortgage nor sent it to me. No one answers phone.
I paid off my mortgage in December of 2022. It is now almost March of 2023 and they never recorded a satisfaction of mortgage nor did they send it to me. When I called in January, I was able to get hold of someone who said they had done it and to give it more time. I just checked the clerk's website and there has been no satisfaction recorded. When I call their "customer service" number, all I get is a recording and they can't locate my account since I paid it off. There is no way to get hold of a live person. I have looked for payoff department, legal department, there is no other number. I finally called their "ombudsman" number and left a message with my information but I expect I will not get any response. I'm sure they call anyone who is late with mortgage payments but if you need them, forget it. SS

Horrible customer service when trying to speak with agent to obtain a payoff. The agent was extremely rude. for no reason.

Terrible customer service and common sense business practices.
My wife was paying the bills and was confused about the day of the month it could be paid on and was late for 2-3 months consecutively. I explained what was going and apologized and told them that I would be taking care of making sure it was done on time. They refused to take a payment over the phone and made us go to the store and send a money order every single payment until I explained to them why they were making it so difficult to pay them. I told them it probably wasn't good business practices to hold up money and after calling multiple times I finally got in touch with a person that had some sense and allowed us to make payments over the phone. The people were straight up rude and had no concern about receiving the payments on time, it genuinely seemed like they just wanted to make it more difficult for the homeowner just trying to make the payments. Hopefully they don't have those same ideals in this economy, they might find themselves fighting with homeowners trying to survive in a time of vast uncertainty. I would never want this company to service my mortgages again, it was a drag paying them on a monthly basis. Not something to look forward to, for sure.

I refinanced my loan with them last year. The loan has been finalized 6 months ago. They continue to call and ask for bank statements. Why do they want my bank statements? I believe they are selling my information. They call at all hours of the day and night.DO

They paid someone elses property tax out of my escrow a year and a half ago. So because they paid that tax in another county that didnt even have my name on it they have not put back the money in my escrow and have wanted me to make up the difference for their mistakes. And all they can say is yes we see that we paid the wrong taxes. I did not tell them to pay the wrong taxes or did I authorize it but they have no problem making the customer pay for their mistake. No matter what it takes stay away from this company they cant get their stuff together good enough to even be in business. They are trying to hold me responsible for a four thousand dollar mistake on their part.
