Worst all round experience

I spent $3500 on motorized blinds the month of March and I am constantly being switched from one representative to another over the last two weeks and still no satisfaction with having one of the motors and blinds replaced! I will not be buying from this company again, and I am upset that I actually did purchase. The only reason I give it one star is because you cannot give no stars.

Missing parts from order

I ordered cellular top of bottom down lines. Nowhere on your website does it say it does not come with hold down brackets. I ordered six out of the 12 lines are long and need hold down brackets. Not sure with a solution is. Someone is supposed to call me back.

Customer did amazing

So very nice and resolved my problem with speed and accuracy . I have called about some other issues we had on another window covering. Amazing and got the replacement in a week . 5 year warranty u cant go wrong with that. Im so happy with this company.

Horrible customer service

received new blinds on 6-13-23. after install one blind is 6 inches to short, called customer service, tried txt chat, no reponse, called left messege, no return call. Looks like i'm stuck with a blind that is to short. Stay far away from this company.sewsssshop e

They do not honor their 90-Day Guarantee and they do not make blinds to spec

I ordered 6 sets of blackout blinds that arrived on 4/13. We began to install the blinds and saw that their width was too small and they didn't fill the windows. We measured them and every set was shorter than we ordered, by at least 1/4 inch, and for some, it was more than that. We ordered blackout blinds specifically so that they would block light coming in to support a serious medical condition my husband has. We measured the blinds according to the directions on their website and were very upset that they were cut wrong. We reached out to the business on 4/16 and submitted the information to them showing the mistake. They replied to us on 4/17 and rejected our claim saying they were made correctly according to them. They told us they subtract a certain amount from our measurements when they manufacture them, so they were made correctly. I do NOT see anywhere on their site or especially in their measuring directions that they SUBTRACT anything off our measurements when they manufacture them. If we knew that ahead of time, we would have known they would NOT fill the windows completely and we'd end up with light leaking through, which is unacceptable for what we expected to receive and need for my husbands' medical condition. I contacted them again on 4/18 by phone and no one picked up. I was directed to a text message, which no one ever responded to (attached). I then went back onto the website to chat with an agent who cut me off and told me to basically take a hike. It was impossible to get proper customer support on this. We want a refund so we can purchase blinds from another vendor that will actually be what we need. We used up our whole budget on these blinds and they are no good to us. It's VERY deceiving to do business this way. Their Return/90-day guarantee policy is very clear as well (https://www.selectblinds.com/satisfaction-guarantee.html) about replacing products that are not made to "the same size and specifications you ordered". This is fraud. They have refund and return policies stated on their website that they do not abide by!

Be careful what you buy, motorized products are way different from each other on site.

So bought some solar shades 3% that have an app for your pad or phone-works great. Then bought some blackout (cassette) type roller shades and these were junk. No app to use, just a *** remote. Blinds are a nightmare to try to program, won't hold the program, very poorly made, one roller fell out of the cassette and ruined my wood casing. Think they would do anything? NO WAY. No replacement, not return, no field service-nothing. I am out $1000 for garbage. Customer service just gives you lip service when you have a problem. Their people are pretty useless and ill trained. I will never buy anything from this company again.

No communication from select blinds

My order was supposed to be delivered 11/11 did not receive it. Today I cant track my order. I tried to chat with you. After 10 minutes of getting a agent will be right with you I left chat. I tried calling and was put on hold another 10 minutes. Im not feeling good about this

Color didn't match

I ordered white roman shades but got YELLOW. I went through the whole process, sending them pictures of the sample vs. product and they basically told me too bad - no refund, no exchange, no making it right. I ended up having to dispute the charge on my cc.

Poor Quality/Delivered Product Different than Sample and Online Pictures

I spent 2k on Premium shades. After 2 days of use they began to fall apart. I sent pictures to the company. They stated this is normal for the natural grass shades. I sent more pictures as the blinds continued to fray, strings coming out all over, and bending on the sides. They got worse and worse within just one week. The company still denied anything was wrong. Natural shades that are 2K should not do this. I have expierence. Furthermore the sample does not have fraying, so why do the blinds after minimal use. It is sad they don't stand behind thier product and are deceitful to customers on the quality they are buying. I have side by side photos to show proof of the qauility issues.

Low quality blinds

I purchased blinds 7 months ago. We use them low to normal usage. Maybe once a day. One of the blinds is a Classic Cordless Blackout Shade. When I push it up, one end of it simply falls down. The shade stays diagonally. I filed a warranty claim and sent pictures. The warranty claim was denied and they asked for me to send videos. Wow! OK, I took videos and tried uploading. The maximum limit for a video file upload is 4mb. Try making a video that's more than 1 second long in that file size. Anyway, I uploaded the video to google photos and sent a link. I also replied by email with the video. They denied the claim again saying "The materials and documentation were not enough for us to move forward with approval.". I want to know what moron runs their customer service. For all to see, I am uploading a video with the performance of a 7 month old shade from Select Blinds. Shame.

Always an Issue with these guys

Order #786****. Same issues as other reviews on here. We've placed many orders with these guys. Every time there was either something missing or just wrong. We received not working motors from them and nothing but circles, asking for a video of it not moving(huh?). Who has time for this? Trust me, go somewhere else.

Blinds are junk

We ordered over $1500 in blinds and our blind's warranty expired. We contacted them and advised that one of the blinds had cellular separation which caused large gaps between the cells. Select Blinds didn't really care and said we would have to purchase a new blind. Why in the h_ll would I want to buy another piece of crap. With all the money we spent you would think they would honor what they sell.

Blinds fell apart

Just as I was taking the shade out of the box, the whole shade fell apart. Tried to put it back together didn't work. Will not order from Select blinds again. They only gave me $7.57 discount on the shade I could not use.

HORRIBLE QUALTIY & CUSTOMER SERVICE THINKS CUSTOEMRS WORK FOR THEM

Purchased 7 blinds ave. cost around $42 quality level value about $19.99 max. 1 Blind broken I was told take a video they replaced it in 4 weeks. Same blind broke again different problem. Again video required they sent a part and video for me work for them and fix their junk blind. Now it broke again same problem, again they want a video. Took it apart quality truly is extremely low. Strings pushed into a plastic slot came undone. Took me 30 minutes of my time to fix it.

TERRIBLE COMPANY

Absolutely the worst customer service & extremely poor quality. All I get from their customer service dept. is canned responses. Product fraying right out of box & manufacturing cuts are uneven. When responding to complaints on my social media reviews, they act like they are concerned, however when I attempt to give them information to follow up with me, there is no response from them whatsoever. They ask you to give them reviews after purchase in exchange for free installation. (They obviously know they need to offset all the BAD REVIEWS) PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THIS COMPANY. There are more reputable options available.

NO HELP

My attempt to be refunded due to your company not cutting correctly is not being supported, I have called, I was told it was sent to corporate no answer, when I called and a rep was trying to tell me (blowing me off) asked to have her bosss boss to call me it has been several days, HOW MANY DAYS CAN YOU BLOW OFF A PAYING PERSON Sep 28 2020 **** hrs Talking to to female rep today asked for a corporate number she put me on hold for several minute, she came back on and by this time looked up my number since she addressed me by my name, stated did you push in the end caps, wow I did not think of that (boy I must be a dummy) she just got back on the phone and said that an email came on sep 23 2020, stating it looks like the caps are not pushed in, woooow, SHE ALSO STATED THAt THERE IS NO ONE ELSE YOU CAN CALL TO HELP YOU ONLY SALES REPS per her stating would never give me a number to corporate
