Hidden fees

Customer for over 8 years all of a sudden there are added fees no warning or explanation my food was thawed at one point it had ice crystals all-over boxes and product on last delivery..will never return as a customer

Want to know if they still sell peach icecream

They don't sell it anymore I'm upset it was very good ice cream they don't sell a lot of the products that they use to sell anymore but they went up in price for the stuff that they do sell and put less in the boxes.

Over-charged

Now #663 (cheese & herb biscuit dough..$9.99) should actually be free because I paid for them almost a month ago when I got charged for 2 packs and only received 1. Supposedly that is what the -$11.00 adjustment is about. #509 (marinated salmon fillets$35.49) I never ordered. I gave them back to the driver and he was supposed to reimburse me for them. The plain salmon that I actually ordered was out-of-stock. AGAIN So if you add up the other 5 items that I received. $19.99 + $16.49 + $21.13 + $9.85 + $22.24 == $89.70 NOT $140.93!! Thats a difference of $51.23!! Now if you go back and add in the biscuit dough and marinated salmon. $35.49 + $9.99== $45.48. Now add that to the $89.70 that I should have been charged and you get $135.18. Even that is less than the subtotal they gave me. What am I missing??? Yes, I called the customer service number this morning..but I still aint satisfied. So I will be ranting online about it all day

A year of terrible service and no customer support.

Order food and then have it out of stock at delivery time. Long waits for delivery, used to be every week on schedule like clockwork. Now it's a week or two out when you place an order and a $3.99 charge for delivery. Then, Schwans randomly changes the selected delivery date to another week (or two) out. I have been waiting nearly a month for an order, the delivery date just keeps getting put further off by days and days. At this point, I have been to the grocery store so many times I could have bought similar products but keep thinking the Schwan order will be here soon based on their text messages to me that my order is out for delivery. Then no show again! I have tried to talk on the phone, the people are not Schwan employees and have no helpful insight or information. The online "chat" is computer automated (no person on the other end) very frustrating and of absolutely no help. After 25+ years of being a loyal Schwans customer, I am so done with this place. Are they short of drivers? Having issues with inventory? Is it due to the change of ownership/brand? I don't know or care. I can't believe they are advertising on tv and the internet that they are "great food delivered right to your door" as if they can compete with other home food delivery services. I can't imagine this business will be around much longer if they don't get their act together soon.

Poor customer service

I have been a loyal customer since 2020 and mistakenly sent an order to an old address as I have just recently moved. Unfortunately, I cannot remove the old address myself nor could a customer service representative. Each time I order, despite having changed my default address to the new one, you try to deliver to the wrong address. I didnt catch it this last time and my order went to my old address, which is currently vacant and over an hour away from my new home. I called customer service immediately to have the driver pick up the delivery but was told they wouldnt and that I could call the following day for a refund. Today, I was told that it was an error on my end and would not receive a refund. I was offered 10% off a re-order. Seriously?! After all the faults in your system on YOUR end, I am appalled at this non-resolution. I will discontinue services and trust me, all my family members will as well. There are far too many competitors with better customer service. I am aware that you are retooling your ordering system. Currently, your system tells me that my phone number needs to be updated and then wont allow me to update, nor could the customer service representative. Get real - you obviously have issues technically on your end and yet blame the customer for any issue. And your chat feature? MARV is useless.

Less quality. Exorbitant pricing

There's not a delivery fee at the grocery store. I was already annoyed at the 1.75 fee but sucked it up..now jumped to 3.99.

I refuse.

They also took rewards points. Not to mention less quality

Schwans in process of changing to Yelloh. (Company sold). Rewards points are no longer. Delivery fee increased to 3.99 from 1.75., which I resented anyway because food was overpriced anyway. They changed the signature chicken, many complaints about that. They have either changed some of the products or eliminated my favs. True for many customers. Ready to quit them altogether. They also cheapened or changed the pot pies It has definitely gone South, I feel they have lost many customers, including me

33 Year Long Customer Canceling Account Due to $1.75 Delivery Charge

We wanted to let your CEO know we are quitting Schwan's after 33 years because you charged us $1.75 delivery fee when you were in th earea and contacted us if we wanted you to stop. We called to get the charge reversed and your agent said there was nothing they could do. Rest assured that your current policies will be a standard Harvard Business Case that all students will read up on when your business goes bankrupt. How could you possibly do this to a 33 year customer over $1.75? We just told our delivery man to de-activate our account. Royce and Sally Binion

Pissed off customer

I want to be taking off your mailing list, you ALL NEVER HAVE ANY OF THE ITEMS I WANT..EVER!!! HOW CAN PEOPLE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR DEALS WHEN THEIR NEVER STOCKED UP??!!.. I ORDERED 3 ITEMS TODAY ONLY GOT 1. IM SO OVER THIS. YOU PROMISE 1 THING AND DO ANOTHER. IF YOUR GOING TO BE A FOOD DELIVERY COMPANY WHY DON'T YOU BE PREPARED WITH ENOUGH ITEMS TO ACTUALLY DELIVER THEM. RIDICULOUS

Horribly shady business practices to put it mildly

I do not know what happened to this company but someone should look into their business practices. I have been a customer for years even after the driver truck delivery was done away with in my area and my orders are shipped by UPS. Well i am writing about an order i placed on 6/13 and was to be delivered 6/21 For your records the order number begins with 288 and ends with 862. So usually UPS and/or Schwans will email me well before my delivery date with tracking info, etc and this time I received nothing. I started to call the service number which to call this service is a joke but none the less i called starting on 6/19 to find out what is going on with my order. I was given ten different answers by ten different agents from the time i first called until today, 6/22 as my order did not arrive on 6/21, was not given a tracking number, and no information was available even on the website or when i called. I wanted to speak with a customer service manager and these phone agents would not allow me to do so. As it turns out my order was never picked for shipment because one of the items was out of stock(it was in stock when i placed the order) and my order would not reach the dollar minimum to ship. DO YOU THINK THESE *** WOULD SEND ME A TEXT OR EMAIL OR PHONE CALL AND LET ME KNOW MY ORDER WAS NOT COMING?? NO WAY-BUT THEY SURE KNEW HOW TO PUT MY CREDIT CARD THROUGH-I AM BEYOND PISSED-DOESN'T ANYONE KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON THERE AND WHY DO YOU EVEN CLAIM TO HAVE SUPPORT-WTF DID THESE JERKS DO MAKE UP ANSWERS WHEN I CALLED? i want this looked into and again i do not know who is now the owner of this company but here is what has happened since whomever took over-the quality sucks, you do not offer dollar rewards per order like you did for all these years, UPS shipping went up to $19.99 no matter what the dollar amount of the order, you have absolutely no idea what is going on and your service is the worst. I know what you are thinking it they are that bad why did you order-well my mother has health issues and i know that their food does not send her to the hospital so i place the order. She will need to find another place because the better business bureau should look into their business practices.

Missed Delivery Order #28822****

Very disappointed customer. I am a regular customer placing orders once a month on (Mondays). I called your customer service number yesterday (Monday) checking to see why my order was not delivered yet. I was told my items were on the truck and would be delivered later on yesterday (Monday). I never received my order yesterday (Monday) I called back to your customer service number today (Tuesday) explaining my situation from yesterday (Monday) stating I did not receive my delivery. She told me my delivery date had been changed to Saturday delivery. I thought she was going to make it right and deliver my my order today (Tuesday), she didnt. Therefore, I cancelled my order all together. Order #: 28822**** has been successfully canceled. Schwans should have made this right and delivered my order today (Tuesday). I spoke very highly of Schwans until today, I am very disappointed. I have emails showing my delivery date was yesterday Monday 6/12/2023). The delivery person should have been instructed to complete all missed deliveries today (Tuesday) and I should have been notified Schwans was aware that I had been missed in order to keep your customers satisfied. Discontinued 4 oz individually wrapped chicken breasts

I have used these breasts for years. If I want garbage chicken breasts, I can get them much cheaper at Walmart. BIG MISTAKE!!! Please bring back #502.

one of your drivers just ren the stop sign on 17th and oaks in Everett WA 98201 and came so close to hitting me I had to slam on my breaks so fast my little dog came flying from the back seat and slammed into my dashboard hard my dog is still yelp about it I'm pretty upset and I hope my dog didn't have internal injuries 7:15 PM

Corporate Takeover Has Ruined Schwan’s!!! Fraudulent Labels!!

Yellohs corporate takeover has ruined everything we loved about Schwans. The recipes have changed, and the portions are smaller.specifically the Breakfast Burrio and the Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwhich (which says 4oz, but only weighs 3.2oz.) The Ice Cream cones specify 3.5oz, but weigh 2.6oz) Every time the Henry Ford/Sam Walton corporate business model is implemented in ANY industry, goods and services decline in quality and size. We use to spend hundreds of dollars a month on Schwans food. However, that will no longer be the case. Im taking my business elsewhere, this is ridiculous I will be filing a lawsuit for false advertisement and theft

I was expecting an order yesterday between 3 and 6 PM. I received a message at 6:30 PM saying my order was canceled ? A new email was sent saying they are delivering my order on March 3rd. I also cannot get through to your 1-888 phone number at all what is going on, I am not happy. We were expecting to make dinner with our oder last night

Order #28638**** placed 12/31/22 for delivery Friday, 1/6/23 not showing on the site

I received a confirmation email for an order placed yesterday. However, it's not showing on the site at all. There's no order showing in the dropdown, the pending orders, or deliveries. It shows 0 pending & 0 upcoming deliveries. I called yesterday when I saw this. The man I spoke with, assured me that my order was there. I explained it was not showing anywhere, but he insisted it would be delivered. The email I received has order #28638**** on it. I hope my order pending. I had the $5 off thanku code, & a lot of the 30% & sale items no longer in effect. The only thing showing on the site, is under rewards. It shows $10.00 pending delivery reward dollars, which I used on my order. I do appreciate Schwan's. I'm elderly, not in good health, & receive absolutely everything through online shopping, no contact deliveries. I have no one physically shopping for me either. Thank you very much for your assistance.
