Order Status

I had a book fair in April of last school year. I ordered a Hamilton Buhl PA System with my scholastic dollars. I have not received it and I have contacted you before and you said it takes time. I don't believe it takes this much time in getting it. I spent almost 1500.00 on this and I want it or my scholastic dollars back. This is ridiculous. The confirmation number for this order is 617****. Please contact me today for results Marcy Adams

Scholastic books for sale

In your recent Scholastic order form I noticed you are promoting and selling a book by JoJo Siwa. She is an adult trying to manipulate and recruit innocent K-2 children into sexual abuse. There is a distinction between not descriminating against LGBTQ people and promoting the recruiting for their sick depraved indoctrination of our youth. If Jojo comes out as a Pansexual LGBTQ or love whatever she wants, then she needs to keep it to herself and not try to convince as many children as she can to follow her example. This is not being inclusive and making LGBTQ youth feel comfortable and accepted. It is pure indoctrination. You are selling a book that will lead children into abuse and ultimately the dangers of child trafficking. Don't succumb to the evil liberal agenda of child abuse and specifically SRA. You need to remove this book. It is not innocent. it is not a child speaking acceptance to other LGBTQ children. It is an adult using her influence as a Youtuber and a celebrity to influence children's sexual orientation. You know damn well you would not sell a book by an 18 year old heterosexual influencing LGBTQ children to convert or experiment with heterosexuality. This is disgusting and evil. I know this will fall on deaf ears because our society is controlled by sick evil corporations that subscribe to this evil.

To check on my order

I was on hold from 4:29 pm to 6:10 pm before any representative responded to my request. After about an hour, I stepped away from my computer from time to time to do other chores. At 6:10 I was in another room when the representative answered the "chat." Because I didn't respond promptly at 6:12 she ended the chat. I wasn't able to get any answers and was asked if I wanted to start another chat.

Poor communication

I have been ordering books from scholastic book clubs for my students and classroom for over 25 years. It is a great way to get books in kids hands. However my recent order had "technical issues" and was never processed. I was on hold for over 45 minutes to talk to a representative and would never have known the order had issues if I did not call. The person I spoke with indicated this has been an "issue" for others. When asked if my order could be pushed through since it has already been close to a month, I was told no and the delay could be 5 weeks out after the "technical issue" is resolved. I understand there are issues with labor and shipping during covid times, but feel this company needs to be honest and let educators be aware of the timeline since we are selling their product to families. I am embarrassed to report out to parents right now since in the past the book turn around has been 2 weeks. I will not order again from scholastic until their issues have been resolved.

Never received order

This book order for my class was submitted almost 6 weeks ago. I was told when I called 2 weeks ago. It would be sent to me last week. What in the world ? Embarrassing to have to keep telling students its coming. I never had trouble in the past. This will most likely be the last time I order for my classroom. Please put a rush on it!!

Scammed

I am currently attempting to transfer credits to EXCELSIOR COLLEGE, it has been an ordeal thus far. Totally regret applying to this college, it has been a big waste of time. There idea of transferabilty is not exactly what I invisioned. I expected anywhere between a 1/3 or 1/2 of my credits to be transferable. This has not been the case. NBK Enctclopedia (Owned by Scholastic) ripped me off

This company is a complete scam. I never placed an order for and books, but received a bill for three encyclopedias. The most recent bill was a final notice for payment, notifying me that the debt will next be sold to a collection agency. After some very basic internet research, I have found that many people have faced the same problem with this company. Another common problem is that after paying for the first three volumes, the company sends the remaining 22 volumes along with the bill. The first book was received in September of 2007. The bills were all sent to a siblings address. As I already stated, SCAM SCAM SCAM. Bottom line, avoid this company.
