I have an Encode Plus lock. I have strong wifi. I have connectivity problem messages sometimes that I do not understand. I tried calling FOUR times yesterday, waited over 15 minutes each time. I finally gave up. This is an unacceptable lack of CS. I still need a tech person to help me figure this out.

NON EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

The absolute worst customer service . I have purchased three Encode Plus smart locks. I need some tech help, and called 4 times . I was on hold for more than 15 minutes and was still unable to get any tech help person. Nobody answers. And the contact email for help does not get delivered to anybody, it only leads to a pushback link with information that doesnt help me.

Excellent service

Needed help in programming a personalized combination. The person that helped me was professional, patient, and extremely helpful. Because of him, I purchased another one for my back door.

Lock replacement

I had a very good experience with Ashley, she explained everything in detail. Totally help to resolve my issues big props to her.

Disappointed

Warranty replacement of a lock was arranged smoothly through the website, wherein a CSR informed me that I would be receiving the lock in 7-10 business days, but 16 business days later, I have not received the lock. I emailed customer service but have not received a reply in 5 days. I then called the Customer Support line (which did not have a prompt for warranty issues with an existing claim number) and waited over ONE HOUR on the phone with no one picking up. :(

Horrible customer service

Lock quit. Been trying to contact customer service for 2 days. 3 hours on hold, still holding. Emails not answered.

My lock stop locking what do I do

My lock doesnt lock you promise lifetime guarantee its not a lifetime guarantee because for one you cannot even get a hold to a live person I dont like your customer service at all and I want my money back for these locks because why does something you use to protect your family automatically disengages thats not safe nor is it professional, so no I would not recommend your product other customers actually I am totally against it

Unsatisfactory customer service

I have been locked in my home several times. This lock is a safety hazard and puts peoples lives at risk, not being able to exit your home in an emergency. This lock jams and works when it wants. I have contacted customer service and they will only offer a refund after repurchasing the same lock. I would not want to replace the lock with the same company as these locks tend to jam. I have been unsuccessful. Looking to contact corporate, please help!

Deadbolt issues

purchased date 2/28/22 - I have tried to change the code, it will not allow me to re-code. yes I watched the video. I contacted the seller and was told he only warranted for 30 days. I just discovered you can unlock the door by pushing the Schlage button and turn the lock. I have never felt more unsafe! Please help me resolve these issues!

Product is a great product, as long as it doesnt ever break. customer services idea of service is leave you on hold for 45 minutes and never come back on the line, only computers, not much of a servi

customer service is absolutely deplorable if you need any help, dont call them, they dont asnwer the phone, just comptuers. need time I will buy a kwikset, thats where i AM GOING NOW

Excellent warranty service

I have no complaint. I bought a schlage lock back in 2014 and a spring broke in 2022, and I called expecting the warranty wouldn't be valid, but my rep (Ramona) told me it was. She didn't have the exact lock to send me, but told me to buy one and then they reimbursed me. I couldn't believe it. All I had to do was send a pic of the broken lock and the warranty code. I am so impressed!

Poor customer service

The brass plating on my door handle is peeling. So I tried calling Schlage customer service to find out whether it was covered under the warranty and whether I could buy just that piece (it's a two piece set). For days. No way to get through. Sent an email. Acknowledged receipt, but never replied. They are the worst!

Resolved: Would give negative stars if posdible

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. Received email today apologizing for delay. I responded with information requested and Schlage has approved my claim and fully reimbursed me for purchase of replacement.

Worst customer service in the world. Warrant claim proceed is a convuluted series of rabbit holes. Web portal is crisp. Phone customer service: prepare to be on hold for HOURS!!!

Schlage Touch - VERY poor product

I bought one of these in November 2021 and was initially very impressed. However, over the past few weeks, upon entering the entry code, the dial would only spin and at best, "semi" engage the internal lock mechanism. I took it back to Lowes and as it exceeded their return policy of 90 days they would not let me exchange it. I also tried calling Schlage twice; was on hold 20 minutes the first time and 30 minutes the second time. Don't waste your time. As I obviously needed a lock, I paid Lowes another 159.00 for the same model - had old paint lines I didn't want to touch up. That was two days ago and the new one is starting to do the SAME THING. And no, the bolt is not catching on the keeper and slides easily in/out of the keeper. I looked this up on you-tube and there are several videos that detail this problem - essentially a cheap design with a spring on a solenoid that is under-tensioned. Junk... I'm planning on taking this new one back and at least get a refund on the new one. I'm also going to do some research before I buy another brand!!!
