These leads are very good about 5 % are old where a man or woman were divorced from their spouse and the one turning 65 was the man and the woman keeping the house is still their and younger such However I have made a lot Medicare sales with these leads. Travis Peterson is my agent and has been their for 15 years and is very good to work with. Jim Roth Medicare plan specialist Pittsburgh Pa www.jimrothassociates.com

Complete waste of money.

I paid $79 per month for 12 months, for 1000 leads per month as part of a 1 year contract. At the end of 12 months they cut off my access and I had only used a quarter of the the leads. They said too bad. If I paid for 12,000 leads, why can't I have access to them when I want them?

Put you in a contract without your verbal consent

Was told over the phone that sales genie was 99 dollars PER MONTH. There was never a conversation about sales genie being a non cancelable contract, although there was a verbal conversation where Karen Rose received my credit numbers over the phone. A week after I paid them, Rose Karen's communication became nearly non existent. I had specific questions about Sales Genie's capabilities for a marketing campaign that was being run by my marketer. It took two weeks to get a legible answer from Sales Genie on our questions, and that was after 4-5 emails and phone calls. I went to cancel my account 1 week ago, and instead of canceling it, they hit my account for another 99 payment. My voicemails to the manager Dave have gone ignored so far. Do not use sales genie. EVER.

Salesgenie Free Trail Is A Scam

My husband put in May 19 for a free trial and that same day was emailed that he'd signed a contract for $99 a month. We have contacted them and they have yet to correct the problem. They kept calling us because they didn't have our payment info and we refused to give it as we only signed up for the free trial. Come to find out, somehow, they managed to get one of our credit card infos and are now chanrging us. This is fraudulent and their free trial is NOT RISK FREE. I see here was another person who also had the same problem. We've never used this account and there is no profile area where one can see what is on their files per personal information. Terrible company.

Resolved: Avoid Sales Genie at all costs

Updated by user Aug 30, 2017
I was finally contacted by a representative from SalesGenie who agreed to cancel my contract and the remaining payments and reimburse me 3 months service. He also offered 3 months of free service in case I want to show it to others.

Original review Aug 22, 2017
Shortly after getting my Real Estate license I inquired about Sales Genie and was given (What I thought was) a trial account. I ended up with a 12 month contract that I can not get out of. I used the system once to try and learn it and decided it was not for me. I could actually go to the post office and get a better result. I contacted Sales Genie and they stated I have a 12 month contract and I could not get out of it. Here is how I realized they were a rip off company. Most companies provide a place for you to update your information such as address, credit card info, address. I logged in and could not find that info to change. You have to call Sales Genie in order to update your information. I once again called Sales Genie to inform them that I was not using their services and to please cancel the account. They again stated that I have a 12 month contract. I have requested a copy of the contract. I am taking it to an attorney and the politicians in Florida to get Sales Genie to change their way of doing business. The consumer should be able to cancel a contract if they are not satisfied with the service, period.

Nothing short of harassment and terrible customer service

As a consumer, I believe this company will make your potential customers think very poorly of your company if you use their lists. My small company keeps getting calls from Aflac, who apparently use SalesGenie to generate their cold call lists. I have told at least 20 sales people, both on the phone and at the front door in person, that my company uses a PEO for our HR needs and that PEO has a contract with Aflac already, so there is no need for us to sign up independently . At the last 'in person' visit, the sales agent recommended that I get in contact with SalesGenie in order to have our company's name removed from the list. So I went on line and was chatting with a sales representative. I explained my situation and he abruptly gave me a phone number to call and said I need to speak to data management (that apparently is not even a real department name). He hung up on the chat w/o providing any more information. So I called the number, once again had to explain my situation and was transferred to some customer support department. Again, I explained the situation and the person on the other end said that she will have to take my email address, so she could send me a form to fill out stating that we want to be removed from their lists. I waited 2 hours and no email ever came to my inbox. I feel very bad for the next sales person to call our office from Aflac because I fully intend on unloading on them. Also, I will be alerting our HR company to speak to their Aflac rep so they can tell their marketing department. This is not how you gain a good customer following, so any businesses out there looking to increase their lead count legitimately, I would look somewhere else, if I were you.

Just not good enough data

Our company has 500,000 plus customers. We are one year into a two year contract with Salesgenie. It's been a big mistake, when we started getting complaints of bad data for sales reps in the field we cross referenced there data with our customer data and found they were accurate only 58% of the time...no wonder the field sales teams stopped using the tool...looking for alternatives now

Sales Genie is an outright SCAM

I purchased $1300 worth of credits during my 7 months subscription with the expectation that they would be there when I logged into my account. After my subscription ended, they deleted all of the credits I had built up. This was totally misleading, unconventional and a huge let down. How they could take a product that you purchased and then delete it is the definition of an outright SCAM. They go on to tell me that if I want my credits back, I will have to pay $900 for a years subscription. Let me say again. This is a SCAM company. You do not sell someone something and then delete it. What are they thinking. $1300 worth of product.... POOF. This company should should be ready for a class action lawsuit.

Canadian Leads Bad

Purchased ANNUAL Leads for $1200 for BC and Ontario and I can find better information on Google for free. Don't waste your money. Doesn't give details on executives in company's and the search system is pathetic. Basic searches show either nothing or a bunch of useless listings. Asked them to refund our money as we had not downloaded or saved any information and even though we had just paid about 2 days earlier they would not refund our money. If I treated my clients like this or tried to sell such a *** product I would be out of business. Hoover's has much better information just a goofy pricing system.

If you listen please stay away from Sales Genie

We bought around 20K leads from them for around $1400. Only 1 lead matured to the point where they visited our web-site. Not a single penny in sales. Not sure how companies like these stay in business with all the fraud they are doing. They will call you and say all good things about their service. You would think let's give them a try but then they will tell you that you have to stay with them for 3 months and their is no shorter contract and you just take the bait and there you go. You don't only lose money but also lost 3 months of useless trying to generate leads from where you can't get anything. I hope you guys stay away from them, but rest is your choice. I just want to put my word out there. Happy Selling.

Terrible leads

Hi I understand your concerns with our data. We cannot cancel an account on good faith that the data is incorrect. As we discussed multiple times, I need documentation of the bad data in order to confirm you are getting outside of our normal accuracy expectation. I understand that this is an inconvenience for you however, aside from providing the scrubbed data that has come back from Merrill Lynch (which IS a requirement from Merrill Lynch because their do not call is in addition to the FTC do not call list) any documentation. With proper documentation, I can send this information over to our compilation team for further review and be able to discuss a course of action with my manager. At this point, as you discussed with a manager already, we are unable to cancel the Salesgenie account because your account is within the 12 month contract. For your convenience I have attached how we compile both our consumer and business data. If you would like I can have my manager reach out to you for further discussion next week, Client Services Specialist Salesgenie Enterprise To:Salesgenie-Customer Service In the last 5 months or so, we have spoken about 3 times. One of the reasons of my calls have been the inaccuracy of the leads. Although, you had replaced ‘some" of the leads, i do not have time to scrub your leads. The reason i buy leads is to be more efficient with my time. if i have to scrub the leads i buy, it defeats the main purpose. it takes time to prepare another excel sheet to submit for replacement, it takes time when i make the call to a wrong lead. it is embarrassing and offensive to call someone who has been deceased for the last 10 years. More than 40% of the business leads you had provided are either from: -deceased people -business was sold -wrong names -wrong phone number -wrong address -wrong annual sales revenue. Consumer leads.—95% of the leads have wrong phone numbers I only downloaded once (100 names). 95% of the leads have wrong phone number. i never had time to send you back an excel sheet for a replacement. I have been paying diligently every month and i have use only a fraction of my credits because of the frustration about your bad leads. Almost a month ago i had asked you to either cancel my subscription or suspend it for a few months. I don’t need my subscription to be suspended. I want my subscription to be cancel. You need to update your database more frequently in order to make “good faith business” Respectfully,

SalesGenie - Review in Advertising category from Bridgeville, Pennsylvania

Watch out for the fine print! Never in the long phone conversation that I had with the salesperson did he ever mention that after the 3 months that I paid for would they keep billing me. That just seems like the right thing to do, at least mention, hey if you want to cancel after the three months, you better give us 30 days notice beforehand or we'll keep charging you. BTW there's not going to be a refund for your credits that you aren't going to use. You'd think I enrolled in a "free trial" for online diet pills!

SalesGenie Sells "Allegedly Scrubbed" Contact Lists

I'm a consumer who got a cold call from a company that claims to have bought my wife's name and phone number from SalesGenie. When I explained to the caller that we're registered with the FTC Do Not Call registry and that all unrequested/unwanted/cold sales calls to registered individuals in that FTC registry can potentially be fined $1,000 per call, the caller claimed that SalesGenie has them sign a contract that absolves them (the annoying cold caller) of any FTC-levied fine and pays any/all penalties from the US Government. I, as a taxpayer, find this claim to be highly dubious and would welcome the opportunity to be a member of the Class Action suit against SalesGenie.

SalesGenie - Inaccurate Information

Try LeadFerret. We also made the mistake of trying salesgenie, because of the cost, we were trying to cut back on what we spent on leads. Yes they are cheap, but cheap does not always = good, jamming up your CRM with *** was not worth it. We again went on a search for inexpensive leads but this time did our research. We wanted to find companies in the US, had an online tool (so we can run our own searches), include complete information - that was GOOD, included social (our new way to market),etc. With all our requirements we assumed we would have to waiver off a couple to get good results/records. We were wrong, we found LeadFerret. We tried LeadFerret because someone mentioned to me that I can see all the information for free. I was skeptical, but when I got to the site, it was true. You only need to sign up for an account (no credit card info or anything) only your email and name. Once you do this you can search by company size, emp size, name, radius, SIC, etc. Its very detailed. You run your searches and see ALL the info for free of the record you are looking for (name, company, phone, email and even this links to social media!). I was impressed, its worth giving a shot.
