Poor service

I have been a customer for more than 15 years. I also purchased a system for my mother. She called for help with a ge concord 4 system with a low battery on a window. she waited on line for help for almost 10 mins. on hold and she finally hung up. She called me and I came over and replaced the 2032 battery in the window censor. I called safe touch to ask how to reset the trouble message and the person said only a tech could do that and told me to hold on. I waited over 5 mins. He finally came back and said he set a appointment for a week away. That is poor service! I went on line and found the very simple key commands the reset the trouble. The alarm is now not troubling my elder mother. I am rethinking my service with safe touch.

Poor customer service!!!!!

In April 2013 Safe Touch was installed for the first time. Long story as to why I discontinued my service because the customer service was really good. Long story as to why I discontinued my service, but it had nothing to do with service. Then after having two different systems I was able to return to Safe Touch. My system was installed January 2021 and since it has been installed this time the service has no been good at all. I Have no complaints as to response time and the people who respond. My problem is getting in touch with someone to help me understand my system. I have reached out to the Randall Griffin and left messages on his phone but he has never returned my call. It only takes one dissatisfied customer to tell one customer when they are asked about your company to hurt your company.

My account has not been charged I called last week and gave my new visa number. Why not charging?

I need someone to take my new visa debit number and charge my account for service. I gave to someone last week and am still waiting to see the charge come out of my account. 317-531-**** my cell.

HORRIBLE SERVICE & HORRIBLE GET BACK TO YOU

We've had Safe touch 15+years. Our old system failed and they(after 3+ months of NO SERVICE, and they FINALLY got back to us and replaced it....then the new system didn't work correctly and NO get back to us, so we are going to CANCEL our service after 15+years... Simplisafe is CHEAPER &;;; has more features(cameras).Safe touchh tried TO MAKE US PAY FOR THE 3+monthgs happening!!!!!nnnnn HAPPENING

Revision of negative review

I have been a SafeTouch customer since 2012 with excellent service and total satisfaction with my experience until a few months ago. Sensors began giving error messages, the control panel had an "incessant" beeping. The last straw was when my alarm went off in the middle of the night for no reason- twice. When I reported problems, I was given instruction on how to bypass the issue until a service tech could come. After service techs came, the problems continued. I was ready to end the service. Finally, my complaints came to the attention of a senior tech who then called in two others. The end of the story is that my system is now working fine. Tech issues are being examined, and I am once again a loyal SafeTouch customer.

Burglary and no response from Safetouch

Lost everything I have worked for for 30 years at my business. Had every piece of equipment that Safetouch provides and got zero response during a burglary. Lost 1.8 miilion dollars. Safetouch is a joke. All smoke and mirrors. Don;t be like I was. Read the contract also. They only have $250 liability in their contract. They do not think too much of their own equipment to have such a low liabilty limit. What a joke.

Don’t do business with this company - period!

When I try to terminate service with Safetouch they always come up with a new reason - contract ‘automatically’ renews and can only be terminated at a certain point that has always been passed. People on the phone are very rude and NEVER helpful. Stay as far away from this company as possible!

Poor Customer Service - Buyer be ware

The home I moved into had a Safetouch Security system. I knew I was going to purchase one anyway, so I called them first. The sales person was a very sleazy, greasy and fast talking man. Honestly, all I wanted to do was get him out of my house. So, I paid for the "system" (that I already had) and paid up front for 3 years of live monitoring. I had to pay an "installation fee" although, I already had the "system" in place at the house. I was never given a manual or really a full understanding of how to use it. I tried to call customer service on a few occasions and they were neither nice nor helpful. They wanted me to book a Technician visit and pay more. I tried to cancel my service after the 3 years was up and they said it automatically renews for 2 more years and I have to pay it in full. I refused and now they will not answer any of my questions on how to use the system. The system goes off randomly and beeps all the time. For your sanity, I urge you to find another system. This is not worth it.

Don't buy! Warranty is bogus!

Don't bother buying. Much better systems on the market for much less money. Their warranty is good until they decide to change the terms and not tell you. I've had multiple panels replaced under the warranty, now the panel is not covered. Costs $350! A newer and more updated alarm costs less!

Safe touch sucks

I tried to add a video doorbell to my appointment. The customer service manager told me no. I had to make another appointment however I'm having issues with my equipment throughout the year. Why do I have to keep taking off of work because of faulty equipment. I paid my bill on time. I'm keeping my end of the agreement. I see why this company has all the complaints on Google

Horrible

Safetouch is getting a one star rating because I could not post a review of zero. I have no words for this experience. The nightmare actually began before I subscribed to the services. A home I purchased almost two years ago had an existing doorbell and a thermostat on the first floor. After being in the home for about a week we were informed that to control our homes temperature we would have to subscribe to Safetouch!! A supervisor actually hung up on me. We caved after checking other options as it was the middle of July. We installed a thermostat on the second floor and activated the other equipment. While paying our monthly fee i called Nicole to get some assistance as the doorbell is not working and the thermostat on the second floor is giving an error message. I was informed that there is a $125 service fee for tech visit. After calling my sales rep I was told the visit was covered. I called Nicole again and after some research told only the thermostat upstairs is all that is covered. If I was a new customer why want I provided new equipment? After requesting the covered equipment to be repaired I could not get an appointment for more than a week!!! Worst Service Ever!!
