. Damage was done to my bathroom door and walls and wrong tub installed..

Wrong tub was put in incorrectly and had to be removed and replaced with the model I ordered. The first crew installed the tub that had the plumbing on the wrong wall. My bathroom door and wall were damaged when they brought the tub into the room. Caulking looked like a two year old had done it. The first crew were there from 9 am until after midnight. They would not let us use the toilet during that time. I have a disabled child and one bathroom. We had to use a bucket downstairs in the basement. The new crew had to tear out the wrong tub, reinstall and fix the wall the first crew used for the plumbing. The second crew were here from 9 am to 5 pm and let us use the toilet. They were very nice. I, did, receive a new, white, door from the company to replace my nice wood door. So it doesn't match the other 5 wooden doors. I was promised $250 for my inconvenience, which I never received. The company said it was mailed to me. Also, if you want to take a standup shower you need to be a contortionist.

Aroma Cannisters

I have spent over one half day online looking for Aroma Cannisters for my recently installed tub. I found a product that looks exactly like the one left with me by the installers. Problem: The items I received are slightly too large to fit my tub, I have searched hundreds of web sites and cannot find one that I am sure will fit my needs. Can you supply me with an outlet that I can use without spending a lot of time. I am 85 years old, like your tub, but don't want die researching aroma therapy online. Hope you can help. Thank You. Problems with tub

Parts falling off, water getting on the floor when we shower. I called a week or so ago . The rep that I spoke to said some one would contact me. Nothing yet!

Spend a whole week and I still haven't got no service for my tub

to many hopes to jump though try to get someone to at call back, then they do"nt have any caller ID when they do call... with so many Robo calls it looks like they could have caller ID and as big as are only one repair for the hole state of Kansas???

Beware! bait and switch...

contract for install within 6-8 weeks... signed and $1,5000 deposit paid by this was to be customer, after 3 plus months and much nagging by me, "installer" appeared... we disassembled bath area , then we were told altho contract said Safe Step would provide all electric etc., and they had examined site before giving me a price of $18 K+. assembler said customer needed to... (at a cost to customer of $1,500+) without contract price offset. In addition, Customer was told cabinets etc. needed removed...again without contract price offset but again at customer's responsibility with est. of $1,500 to remove and replace... Bottom line, we've been torn up, have no tub but a lot of aggravation and told take it or leave it...

Hand held shower not working

i need this to work for hair washing. Hello hi paid a lot of money for this TUB And I need it to work perfectly. I called a while back in in the fall because theres a handheld shower that I didnt use any need it but now Because I I need my daughter and myself I need my daughter and myself to be able to use the handheld shower or any time all the time OK I need a servicman To come and fix the shower hand house OK thank you joy Urbinati OK no OK

Leakage in my tub

The tub is leaking all over my house Ive called several times with NO one contacting back at all I keep getting the run around at this point Im getting very upset this company is not the best at customer service its the worst ever after 4 or 5 days of calling I have yet to receive a call back. Safe step is not a good tub

Dishonest sales tactics!!

A salesman showed up and was very nice seemed to know what he was doing and took his time explaining everything, so far so good. When it came time to give us a price it was quoted at $28000!! There is no way a tub was worth that and we told him so and he came up with some discounts that brought it down to $24000 we told him still too high then eventually came down to $18000 which we initially accepted and put $3000 down but after thinking a few hours we decided that was too much for us and called and told him and all of a sudden Mr. nice guy turned very rude and threating and after telling me to send in the cancellation form within 3 days to get our money back and hung up on me! I feel they will try to get an outrageous price to start with and how many poor old folks get screwed and take the first or second price?

Inaccurate sales for buying tyb

We bought this tub.my husband is in wheel chair. Sales person did not detail making sure he could safely use it. It is very hard for him to get in and out and has went down numerous times facing in tub and gets stuck due to his legs are too week to get up. Needless to say take me his wife a long time to safely getting him up. After about 4 months into having tub.I felt I should contact them. But I know I should of done it before. Tried to get them to replace it with a walkin shower but will not do it with a $5600 charge this is so very difficult on us. We have not done so due towe do not have the cash for this.

Dissatified with the Product and Instalation

I had the system installed, the next day after installation I noticed a 3 in gap at the lower part of the tub, I called and three or five days later they sent the same people out to repair the problem, I was sick when they got there, however he showed up with a large tube of cauking and a cauking gun and a puddy knife, he filled in the gap with cauking. nothing is square or level on the system. I adjusted the shower to fit my height and tried to use the shower and when I turned it on the shower adjusted itself all the way to the ceiling and turned to the left which allowed water to go all over the floor, the tub leaks at the bottom of the door, when draining the tub it leaks at the bottom of the door. when the installed the system they done something to my bathroom door and it wont shut or latch according lee. I got out and slipped and fell and damaged my back and neck. Now I am in a lot of pain. SafeStep tubs is a Nightmare. John M Walters.

Unpromised services

When the salesman showed up he was very nice very convincing other than the 3 lies that we caught him in . After giving him $5000 we were told that no other money would be charged until installation was completed my wife noticed the other day that they took money out already . We still have not heard from them about an installation date and trying to find out I have been put on hold hung up on and straight up ignored do not use this company for any reason whatsoever NoNO

I bought a tub fr

I called them twice on the phone number for safe step and the second time, I got their answering service. The first time the lady gave me a phone number for the service department and no one answered the phone. The second time I called, I was told that the service department was closed and to call them back on Monday. Like I said before the safe step tub and service department is LOUSY!

There is no customer service, there is no customer repair for tubs

I purchased a safe step tub three years ago and the heater has NEVER WORKED! The micro STOPPED WORKING three weeks ago because The water THERAPEUTIC HYDRO MASSAGE JET on the back of the tub stopped working three weeks ago. I tried to call the company TODAY (January 29, 2022) to get repair information and found out that there is no repair service FOR CUSTOMERS in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Defective and Bad customer service

On February 2021, I purchased a standard size Safe Step walk in tub, and the unit have been falling apart. I called the last week in December 2021 to inform that the shower pole is loose, water is *** out from the base of the pole, the handheld shower head cord broke loose and water is *** out of that too. The mechanism that controls the drain is also coming apart. It's a twist and tighten system that is always coming unloose. At the moment the unit is unusable. I made a follow up call today about the matter and the man that picked up hung up when I stated the system is falling apart. I was not yelling or behaving belligerently, so I am surprised he simply hung up, the sad thing is that I purchased this for an elderly person who suffers from dementia in order to make bathing easier on her. SMH

Loss Money/Destroyed Bathroom

Please don't do it. I have read most of the reviews here and I can relate to all of them. From the torn down bathroom door frame. The water taking forever to drain from the tub. The water getting cold before the tub even fills up to cover you. The fixtures turn black and the seat mat and floor mat gets dirty that it's very hard to clean. The workmanship of the contractor was awful. I now have the problem of it not turning on at all only 2 years it's been installed. One more thing if I knew they would have to tear down my bathroom door to install the tub never would have purchased. Because you will need someone to paint and repair the door correctly back in place after it's done.
