Malfunction

Called twice wait time over 10 mins LGE K 500 malfunction notice also talked someone at ATT still under warranty can you have someone come out and check camera. Also changed phone number with customer rep but my old number is still showing

They are the worst company ever. Full of bs. Their installers lie and they cheat you out of your hard earned money. They should be put out of business! And ADT should not associate with them in anyway

They charged 1900 for equipment. Took over 7 hours to install. Told me I could move it if I moved. Lies. Called to move service. Cant do. Have to pay out contract over 1700 plus still pay for equipment. We are talking less than 3 weeks. ADT cannot use the equipment they installed. So you get to pay twice for everything, if something happens beyond your control.

Worst company I ever deal with

A Safe Haven sales person came to my house to offer ADT services and offered services that were not in the contract and that ADT doesn't offer. They tied me to a 36 months contract that I cancelled after 11 months and had to paid 1050 dollars to do it. So be very careful when using this company. They will make a lot of promises just to sell you the service.

Failure on their part

Safe Haven stated that they emailed me notifying me that I was required to get a permit, and at no time did I receive such an email. In the legal paperwork, it stated that I was responsible for any permit fees if required. Not one stating that I was responsible and getting a permit in my city. They are refusing to pay up for their mistake.

Panel not working (called 5 times)

Hello to whom it may concern I am a recent customer of safe Haven security at a panel installed the beginning of July and the panel does not work I have spent over three and a half hours trying to contact you people I have sat on hold lines I have talked to bots on the adt website and I cannot get through to an actual human to get this problem resolved. The screen on my panel no longer works everything else works but I need it fixed ASAP please call me back at 580-401-**** if I do not hear back from you soon I will be requesting it cancellation of service thank you.

RIPPED OFF!!

In July of 2022 a sales rep who claimed he was with ADT, (turns out he wasn't with ADT, but an authorized 3rd party for ADT) came to our door to sell us a security system. He said since you are a new homeowner and it's within 30 days we qualify for a deal. The deal was approx $65 a month and NO CHARGE for the equipment. He even wrote on his paper what the equipment would have cost without the package and crossed those numbers out. Said to us, "All you pay is the monthly charge". We even said to ourselves, its twice the price of our ring system but get so much more. I asked if we could think about it. He said, "No today is the last day of the deal for you" So for only $65 per month we figured why not? So the salesperson proceeded to sign us up and schedule a day for installation. He also gave us a certificate and said you will get a discount on your home insurance premiums. Turns out our homeowners insurance doesn't give us the discount since the system isn't hooked up to our smoke alarms. When I called, they said we've never heard of that and you are the first person to ever call with that complaint. I thought the sales pitch was shady, as he also said when our home gets broken into, 911 will prioritize us over other calls. Sounds odd that 911 would prioritize us over someone else. So we signed up for the $65 per month, no charge for equipment and and insurance discount. When I found out our insurance won't give us the discount I decided to call. That's when I found out the salesman wasn't with ADT, but a 3rd party rep. When I looked at my contract i saw a charge for over $1100 and figured it was maybe a deposit for the equipment, because it couldn't be a charge. The salesman told us no charge for equipment, even showing us the normal prices for equipment and crossing them out. I was with my boyfriend and we both heard how he greeted us, the sales pitch and the crossing out of charges. If i knew i had to pay $1100, i would have stuck with my Ring Cameras. If I knew i was paying $1100, why would i complain. What made it worse is he stuck around for a bit while just talking about work and life. We offered him a beer and he drank it with us while talking bout him being a real estate agent. My boyfriend is as well. My boyfriend told the rep to call him and he'll help him being an agent as well as getting into rehabbing homes. Now that I think about it, maybe he was making convo just to hide me from seeing what I was signing. Why would i question what i was signing when he verbally told us about the savings of the package??

Angey customer

I canceled my system with you guys back in August not only did you charge me for August but now I am being charged for September rich for September the notes are in the 80T file but 80T claims that you guys never canceled my system. I am done paying for a system that hasn't worked since June I paid to cancel I paid for the equipment out of pocket I want my money back for the 2 months of service that I didn't use and I want someone to reach out to me immediately. This system hadn't worked since june!!June!!! and yall told me to fix it myself. Your customer service is awful and a joke

False promises

Sales rep promised to take care of contract with other guardian security. He lied. I still have to pay for it. And I cant get them to call me back.

They're absolute trash

I would've given negative stars if it was possible. Part of my package included a garage door opener that never works when I need it to. I've called repeatedly and they'd come out to get it to work that day, but it wouldn't work after that. ADT won't come and get it back and refund me for it. I brought up the fact that I'm paying for something that doesn't work and was told that "we'll stick with what you've got." I'll NEVER use or recommend ADT to anyone unless they enjoy paying for crap that doesn't work

This company is a money vampire

Would leave 0 if I could. We have been scammed by this company into getting locked in a contract. Just imagine, within 5 days of the installation date we had to pay $1870 because we wanted to cancel, and the reason we wanted to cancel was because of how bad their equipment and their service were and we didn't even get everything we paid for. This company does business in an unethical manner and will do their best to get money from you one way or another please don't deal with them or if you do don't sign any contracts until you read it at least 5 times because as soon as you do you they will get to you

Extremely bad service

never given 3 day grace period to decide on service and I've been trying g to cancel since yesterday but can't get in contact with anyone. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE AND I WILL NEVER EVER USE OR RECOMMEND ADT AGAIN TO ANYONE. A BUNCH OF CONARTISTS

NO 30 day money back guarantee

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SAFE HAVEN My husband and I were conned into this system with a 30 day money back guarantee, which 3 representatives told us, not just one. That was a LIE! We decided that we did not want the system after 3 things in the first 2.5 weeks. 1. The doorbell camera that we received does not work it is always offline and needs to be troubleshoot or hit a retry. 2. We were sitting in our living room when one of the door sensors fell off the door, with no one touching the door or anything. 3. The last straw was when we tried to call and get someone to come out and we were on hold for over 45 minutes with no one answering. We then decided that it wasnt worth what were paying for it and wanted to cancel and thats when they continue to recite the same thing over and over again about there right to recision being 3 days with penalty free cancellation because they are an ADT AUTHORIZED DEALER not actual ADT that we thought we were signing up with. Then proceeded to tell me that we would have to pay $1900 to get out of our contract for a system that has not been fully functioning since weve had it. And if we choose not they will continue to bill us AND it will go to collections. They also said that they do honor the 6 month money back guarantee but the ENTIRE system has to be deemed inoperable not part or majority. SAFE HAVEN IS A MONEY HUNGRY COMPANY THAT CARE ABOUT NOTHING AFTER YOU SIGN YOUR CONTRACT LOCKING YOU INTO MONEY!

Been lying about service

First series of email with a USPS tracking showing the order pre shipment label has USPS waiting for this order for weeks.been in Jacksonville for weeks. below is the same order, "Reshipped" with a new tracking number. Go on line to USPS tracking and that "new" tracking number has the "order" is Jacksonville and Orlando, Fl, over a 140 miles apart at the same time and date. Pretty damn good. I have spoken with USPS four times and they say the order has never ever been remitted to them for shipping.
