Bought a brand new 2021 Grand design Imagine 3250bk. Service is awful and they dont care after they have your money. Management is just as bad as their help

Brand new RV,Toliet wouldnt hold water, The shelf under the tv wouldnt stay closed which cause interior damage, the kitchen drawer comes out when you are traveling,The slide out doesnt work right and the awnings needed adjustment. We took it in all winter got it back nothing done!!!And now the solar doesnt work which did when it went in.First camping trip took it back same problems. 3 weeks laterThey replaced the toliet with a plastic toliet instead of porcelain which it went in with. Only thing fixed hahah joke!!! Get to Lake George on a weeks vacation with my wife and 2 kids.3rd day there the toliet breaks completely the pedal snapped in half and couldnt open the valve at all.So we had to find a new toliet from a dealer in VT pick it up and replace ourselves. So why even bring ot to the dealership they still havent fixed anything and lied to the manufacturer and told them everything was fixed after the parts were shipped to them.So lies and no returned phone calls please avoid this dealership at all cost!!!

Poor customer service

Original review Jun 30, 2023
I bought a brand new 2023 from the vermont location. It was delivered the first part of June to the campground where my seasonal is and we finally got to stay in it last weekend. The second night it was raining hard and when I arrived back there it was leaking badly. I contacted them they had me send pictures which I have and I am getting no response. Im going to have to take my complaint to the better business bureau or the attorney generals office. This now has water damaged from the leakage. My suggestion is they need a general manager who cares about their customers not just making that sale.

Save others from the mistake

This is regarding Newtown, CT location.DO I have been ignored, gaslighted and insulted by this dealership. There are so many examples why I feel this way. They dont return phone calls or emails. They insinuate we dont know what were talking about. They really liked telling us that warranty work was costing them money because we didnt buy our unit from them. The GM told me that. He asked me what I wanted from them, and my answer was one word COMPETENCY. Then we talked about the service desk person that was, in my opinion, unable to perform his duties. I said if he wasnt there any longer, I would possibly still come there. The GM said it wasnt easy to fire someone nowadays. Plus being part of a large corporation makes it harder. I still will not go there because two big expensive issues developed with our unit that should never have happened. An underbelly panel didnt have the screws put back to hold it in place and it dragged and broke. They are not accepting responsibility for that even though they dropped the underbelly in the Fall. And the instant hot water heater has a big crack in it even though they did the winterizing. They replaced the filter because it was broken. We found the crack when we hooked it up at home to drain the antifreeze. It poured out of the tank. Nope not their fault.

Worst manager I have ever delt with.

Jeremy, the manager at RV One in Myrtle Beach, SC, is the nastiest person I have ever encountered as a manager in any business. I had taken my motor home to the dealer about a week before I was going to pick up my new motor home. I discovered some things in the contract that I did not like and was going to cancel the deal and went to get my motor home back. Jeremy had been told that I was coming by my salesman. He motioned for me to come in his office. When I went in, he laid out all the papers. I started to point at one of the papers, and he screamed, "don't touch that". I told him I wanted my motor home, and he said I could get it and bring it back when I got the new one. (That's the short story) I went outside to wait, and he later came out and told me I could not have MY motor home - That it was his motor home! At that point he started to come toward me and I told him to get away from me - twice, and then I left without my motor home. This,is the worst and most disgusting encounter I have ever had with any company manager or any sales person in my entire life and I have purchased several motor homes in the past. All of the staff at RV One in Myrtle beach are great people except Jeremy, the manager. I feel that he has probably hurt sales at that store a great deal. The sales person I worked with is Patrick and he has followed up after the sale to be sure everything is good and see if I need anything, As amatter of fact he called today (Sunday) just to see how I am doing. Thay's what I call an exceptional sales person. And speaking of exceptional: Sam the tectinian that did the walk thru when I picked up my new motor home gave the best new RV walk through I have ever had. He knew his product and he was very patient with me asking questions. Too bad the Myrtle Beach store has such a terroble manager. Business would probably double if they had a manager that was up to the customer cares levellike the rest of the people at the store.Job well done for all except Jeremy.

Humiliated by staff

My husband and I had found the camper we wanted at RV ONE in Buford, GA. We planned to pay cash but they talked us into financing for some sort of discount. Papers were signed, etc. When we returned the next week with our trade-in, they refused to accept it. We discussed it among ourselves and decided to go ahead and purchase the camper without a trade-in. But NOOO! They didnt even give us the option! They treated us like poor trash and totally humiliated us because our trade-in wasnt up to their standards! It was so awful that I started crying. Thats when they told us to leave the lot! Also, We had put down a substantial deposit but it took several phone calls and 2 months to get that back. What a bunch of JERKS!!!

Gross negligence

I just went through these reviews before I wanted to write mine. After reading the reviews, I can see its not worth doing the only recourse is to file a lawsuit with the reviews Ive read they were probably enough people to join in to make it a class action lawsuit. These people are absolutely inapt. They do not deserve to be in business.

Filing a complaint

I don't know if anyone will read this but I am wanting to talk to someone asap about my experience in Des Moines at your superstore. It has now been 1 month and still have not had a virtual walkthrough of my RV. I have no temporary plates and was sold this without an AMP cord. Multiple calls to Ryan the so called manager, 4 conversations and no follow up calls to give me updates. I have purchased 4 RV's from your competitors and have never have had such terrible communication and willingness to do a simple job. My vacation to get RV south for the winter has been delayed as I still have no plates and do not want to drive it without registration. I have never complained to a company before but this is something your company needs to understand especially when someone is buying something that is a dream come true for many people. You would think in today's world and economy companies would be willing to have happy customers. For others that are not as tolerable I hope you fix it. Any communication would be appreciated

Terrible customer service

Original review Nov 26, 2022
After reviewing the buyers order for a new RV we put a $1000 deposit on we realized RV One was adding unnecessary charges. Trying to rip us off. We went to another dealer and purchased the same new make and model for $25000.00 less!!! Called RV One in Fort Myers. They offered to match the price of the unit we found. No thanks. After they tried to rip us off. Also requested the $1000 deposit refunded sooner than later. They refuse to refund any sooner than 30 days. And hung up on us. Called back spoke to Zack Sales Manager and this time we were angry. Zack hung up again.

I bought a new RV

I bought a new RV from RVOne in Vermont. I picked up the unit and got it home. I smelled propane when I parked it and got out of the truck. They had overfilled one propane tank and the safety relief valve had blown propane all over the inside of the cover. I then found out the TV was broken and have been fighting with them ever since to get it replaced. Why didn't I research them before buying. They are nothing but shady.

Legal action

I bought a unit from Jax that had false mileage advertised. I was not allowed to inspect or test drive until after I signed finance paperwork. The only reason I signed is because the manager promised that if something was wrong at delivery he would cancel the deal. RVone wrote a dishonest false delivery and storage agreement so they could take the funding from the bank but never delivered. When I was finally able to get keys and check the unit after I paid it was messed up. RVone would not cancel my contract. I contacted the FTC bureau of consumer protection. They confirmed you guys broke laws and regulations and wanted me to file 2 separate reports. I wanted to give RVone the chance to make this right before I did that. The store has done nothing and Im willing to give corporate a chance before I do this. I have several emails and texts that show proof of the false advertising of mileage and dishonest practices and the fraudulent contract you guys wrote.

Horrible service

Our 2020 jayco had minor warranty issues. Could not get a response from dealer. Contacted the BBB and finally got a call from a manager who 2 months later is no longer there. As a matter of fact everytime we talk to anyone the previous person is no longer there. Thry have had our rv 2 months now. Repairs completed? Not even started. They are "too busy" or :waiting for parts " even though Jayco said they didn't order parts from them. Rv One doesn't even know what parts are ordered because the person who ordered them is no longer there. We don't think our rv will ever be repaired

Everything

Son bought a new camper trailer and the first day at home when testing the awning system, it broke. Took a few days to have someone come out and put the parts in the trailer so he could take it back and we found that the table wouldn't convert into a bed, it was frozen in place. The person who took the awning of also said the frame was bent. after the finance manager said we could leave the trailer and replace it with a comparable camper or get some financial relief in the form of a rebate on the camper, all of a sudden our calls aren't returned. There is an advertised one year of complete service on every camper they sell, but now we are waiting to see if Forrest River pays for the awning to be replaced . It's been days now and no word. they can keep this trailer. We don't want it .It's a POS.

Formal Complaint - Auburn Hills RV One SuperStore

We had the unfortunate pleasure of purchasing a brand new Forest River R-Pod RP-190 trailer from the newly acquired RV One Superstore in Auburn Hills Michigan. Some of my experiences: - Salesperson was great, did everything that would be expected of the sales team and did his best to make sure everything went smoothly. - Finance team severely dropped the ball once we had put in our deposit. We had to continually call and ask the status of the financing paperwork and was delayed nearly 2 weeks to even finish paperwork to complete the purchase. Was incredibly hard to get ahold of, would not answer emails or phone calls. We had to eventually resort to showing up in person and calling the receptionist and having her track him down manually. - We ordered a new part (Improved Winegard model) to go with the RV which supposedly arrived within a few days, however when we arrived to pick up the RV for the first time, they supposedly needed an extra part for it to fit properly. That part took another several weeks to arrive. This wouldn't have been such an issue, however we were stuck waiting in the RV One waiting room for over 2 hours with little communication that we would have to leave empty handed that day or take the not finished RV out and return it for the part at which point we could expect another week or two delay. - The finance team gained a new manager who we finally worked with to finalize our purchase, despite being there for only 4 days, she was excellent, however made a mistake on the financial paperwork and required me to have to come back to sign entirely new paperwork with a corrected VIN number. This was supposed to be mailed if I couldn't make it in, I was not, and it never was mailed, I still have to go back and do this. I am however waiting until we have to take it in for the Winegard part we were supposed to have weeks ago. - We finally picked up the RV and everything seemed great, however upon getting home and testing the water properly for the first time... the grey water tank leaked all over the inside of the RV and onto the ground below. So our absolutely brand new RV that was supposedly thoroughly checked and vetted by the RV One Superstore we purchased it from, has already had a major leak issue into the RV, first use. Now I have to go through the process of getting service all over again. I am very much not wishing to take my RV back to the original dealership because of how slow and terrible the service was there. I understand the dealership has undergone a recent acquisition by RV One and feel that RV One should be aware of how bad this dealership is making RV One look. They took what was supposed to be an exciting experience of purchasing a first RV and given me severe anxiety of having to deal with them/any RV dealer again for any future work. I will be posting a very honest review to all of the major review boards within the next month depending on how smooth it goes to get these plumbing issues with our RV resolved. Fingers crossed!

Very long wait for RV repair (AC unit)

Dropped off our motorhome June 10th 2022 to have AC unit replaced. (brand new unit-2022 Entegra Qwest 24L) Taking forever to get it fixed and have had to cancel a future trip. Keep telling us AC has been ordered and shipped but no tracking number. AC finally came in on July 26, 2022 and was the wrong one!! They want to sell you a unit but not fix problems with it when it. I am wondering if they have even ordered the AC unit at this point? This is not acceptable!

Poor Support After Sake

Service tech botched a caulking job. Caulk peeked off hours later, exposing front roof trim. Repaired at my expense, no help from RV One, St. Augustine. Phone calls not returned. Im not interested in sharing my experience; I want to be reimbursed for the $450 I spent repairing damage their tech caused.
