Rosetta LIFETIME is a lie !

I bought some years ago 2 full languages, now it is not working and in error. I contacted support for help and the only "solution" they could provide was that I have a make new purchase for online version: "If you were interested in purchasing our online subscription service I can check to see if there is something else we can do for you there"

Lost account info

Lost account info, I had lost access to my account, and luckily was able to find an old email confirming that I had the program, and Rosetta Stone got back with me promptly and had me set up and going in no time!!!

Billing and access question

2nd time purchasher twice shy

I purchased course 1st on CD they stopped supporting. Bought 2nd version online was for 2 years. COVID-19 hit and 18 months later I'm traveling tp Peru. Customer sercvice said in my case buy a new course no supervisor call back. now lifetime for less! membership

Have useless CD.s

My husband bought me Rosetta 1.2.3 French several years ago but we didn't load it because I already had Rosetta 1 loaded and wasn't finished learning from it. Now you can't use the CD's because Rosetta Stone no longer supports them. How can this be? There should be no termination date on learning material my husband paid a lot of money for something we can no longer can use then they want us to pay a lot more for online services. Who is to say they won't go out of business next week and no longer honor the online Rosetta.

It’s too Expensive, Frustrating, poorly built program and poorly maintained

I have emailed Rosette Stone several times in regards to how their program either has slides with pronunciation exercises that done ever acknowledge a person speaking or slides that you can say something barely close to what you are asked to say and get a perfect score on. I paid for a 6 month subscription to learn Mandarin and immediately regretted it. My last email included a video where the program asked me to say Dian Hua, the mandarin words for telephone (tones not shown) and I got perfect pronunciation score for saying Leann Ma. I tried the program years ago on my laptop and it was littered with errors and malfunctions. I thought it might have improved after so long but it seems worse. Furthermore, nothing has been updated or improved. The claim they have fixed an error I inform them of but they to nothing to be proactive in refining, improving or even doing quality control on their product. It is a sloppily made, I maintained, mess that makes it difficult to learn. I speak words and phrases to a friend who is came to Canada from China and Rosetta Stone gives the impression I have perfected these phases but my friend says I am not even close. The program leaves a person feeling over confident until the talk to someone and then they feel like a fool. Reading professional reviews online I am seeing a continuing narrative that people become frustrated and stop using Rosetta Stone, it uses poor methods to teach and its claims are just shy of fraud. I recommend you try a different program, I’m going to look for one.

Rosetta Stone takes 2 years 20 euro unauthorised credit card of my account.

Rosetta Stone takes 20 euro a month of my credit card. I cannot get off this contract even though I have tried it several times.

Rosetta billed my debit card for $200 unauthorized by me and my prepaid card was a zero balance so it should never have happened.

Rosetta billed my debit card for $200 unauthorized by me and my prepaid card was a zero balance so it should never have happened. Netspend made my account -200 and that shouldnt be possible. Thats never happened in years with netspend . if you dont have funds a purchase cant be made. Somehow Rosetta has forced the payment. Unbelievable!

Refuse to refund ‘discontinued’ Fit Brains lifetime subscription

I purchased a lifetime subscription to Fit Brains from Rosetta Stone on 2/15/2017. Rosetta Stone discontinued the product effective 7/6/2018. So my ‘lifetime’ subscription lasted less than 17 months. I believe I should be refunded the difference between what I paid and and the appropriate yearly/monthly rate for what I actually received. Rosetta Stone refuses to issue any refund to me.
