Non of any issues been adress sins first walk through

We suppose to close on a house November 14 of 2022 Didn't till December 30 of 2022 But sins than not even one item was fixed and everyone just either ignoring us or have some kind of excuses. Trying again to get someone's attention. So far, no luck; just many promises. Were we all people who said to contact them if we needed anything? We just want this house we purchased to be fixed. We paid for a new, finished house, but seven months later, not even one item is complete. I know someone is going to say that we tried to contact them, but they did not respond, or that we made appointments, but they were not in the house. First of all, we have jobs, and we can't take every other day off just to sit all day in a house and apartment be canceled for whatever reason, like we couldn't make it, or we don't have parts, or have to come back next time, or this item is not on my list to be fixed, need a new PO, or appointments end of a day. Let me ask anyone who will read this email: can any of you take that many days off? Would your employer allow that? Would you be okay with losing pay for that day? We had the house vacant, so items could be fixed. We paid rent and the mortgage at the same time. We are losing so much money because of the unfinished house. We were promised by the salesperson and the construction supervisor that the house would be finished before we moved in and that there may be a few small items that would need to be repaired, but that's not the case. Who's going to reimburse us for the money we're losing for not going to work? Who's going to clean house after every one of your vendors leaves a mess? And if nobody cares about it, or that's all your plan, so people get tired of dealing with Richmond American homes and fix everything themselves, just tell us. If no one can address our house issues, return our money and take this house back 40430 w. Haley Dr. Maricopa, AZ 85138

Worst Housing Company Ever!!

Tell me the details of what happened? How about rephrasing that to what has not happened? This is the worst housing company I have ever used in my life. My home I sold that was 20 years old is better then this 2022 new build. These workers dont care about their craftsman-shift. Their out to get a quit buck. Sloppy, lets slap it together and call it a day! No one gives a flying !!!

Poor customer service

My sales agent at the Dixon location (Sutton at Parklane) was unprofessional, she was rarely at the office and didnt respond to my emails. I had my attorney write a demand letter request a new sales agent and even even after that she continued to contact me disregarding my request. At one point during the buying process, the loan officer had disqualified me due to the high interest rate. So I request for my earnest deposit and no one was responding to me. At some point even the loan officer stopped replying to my emails. I am still awaiting for my holding deposit. My work colleague told me of some of the issues he was having at the branch but ignored his advice. Please be cautious as the sales agents at this branch are not in for your best interest. They just want your money

They don’t want to honor their warranty

My wife and I closed on a Richmond home four months ago and things are starting falling apart. The bricks are literally falling off the front of my house. We tried to get them to honor the warranty but we cant get a hold of anyone. All and all Richmond homes are garbage waste of money dont buy is what Im telling all my friends and family.

The build wasn't completed before closing the house

Richmond made lot of promises to close the home and fixing remaining things next day of closing. It's been three days neither the electrician nor the drywall person showed up. Keep emailing them consistently but no response.

The worst home building experience

basically to fix but it wont match and it still wont be perfect. How do I get penalized for your mistakes? John assured us our concerns would be addressed but honestly no one seems to be men our women if their word. Then Im this visit we hear we are waiting on drywall so we dont know when we will get to closing but even once drywall is in it will be another 50-60 before you can even close. During this time we continue to do everything we are required to do but met with resistance the whole though. Lets also not forget that during this time frame I called Richmond and spoke to operator #19 to address my complaints and I was met with another lie that someone would call me back. It never happened. Just like a lot of promises Richmond makes. Here we are almost 10 months into a home building process that we lied to would only take 6 months with 7 months at the latest. During these months my lender trying contacting your company so they could fulfill their duties as the lender and got nothing but the runaround just like I have. Trying to lie and say we havent been in compliance which we have trying to raise the pricing of the property to get more money out of us. Attempting to terminate our contract with no grounds to do so all so you can sell the property for more money. Now a month before we are supposed to close they now have switched the color scheme of our home. When we meet with Jennifer we selected color scheme 1 which was coastal Sage the body of the house. I just recently found out a few days ago they changed their color schemes and that Jennifer had us selecting from an old selection. So now our house is gray. Which even based on the new color scheme is no where near the actually citing in the house. Which by the way we came by the house and saw this incorrect color on our home my husband asked the super and we were told oh its because of the change in manufacturer and sometimes the colors are slightly off well newsflash our house its just slightly off its in another color. Sage is a green we have a gray home. Please someone explain this and to be told Im not sure if anything can be done. This has been the worse experience Ive ever had. The most frustrating part is to be lied to in your face after being my concerns to the forefront because I read reviews and I regret not heading the word of those that had less that pleasurable experiences before me. However, Id hate for anyone to go through what Ive gone through so far or worse. Another fun fact I find it rather interesting that people who work for Richmond homes wont even build with them. That should say ALOT. Not to mention I showed my new salesperson the contract that shows the discrepancy in my color scheme. Its funny because the offer set color schemes and what on my contract isnt even one they offer together which is a clear indication they screwed up but instead they wont take accountability, responsibility and lack integrity. On top of that my sales person Dalia said from her own mouth my house looks more like a gray and not sage. These people are the WORSE. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Buyer beware

we purchased a house in Scotts Pine built by Richmond less than one year ago. since moving in we have had a water flood in the kitchen requiring four months of construction to repair, windows that are not sealed correctly and dust comes in from outside when its windy, electrical issues throughout the entire house and all of our LED lights keep on blowing up, The doors do not close properly and are all crooked, The list goes on and on we have severe buyers remorse

2/5

Poor quality, poor service, poor communication

Issues with the interior and exterior of the newly built house were identified before closing. After the closing, these issues became a warranty department problems. Almost 7 months later, most of them still not addressed, never mind the new problems that were identified in the first 3 months of moving in. Appointments are being missed without any warning, causing wasted time; respectfully degrading tone of communication; total disregard of time taken off from work to be present for the scheduled appointments. Richmond American doesnt appear to have its own construction workers, they hire contractors that they cannot manage.

Broken tile

Tile grout in bathroom coming out It is hazard for folks using bathroom Please see pictures attached This is the guest bathroom tile on wall They can all fall and hurt someone

Good luck getting warranty work

They will close as quickly as possible and try to dodge the issues identified at closing. After the sale, the warranty contractors show up half the time to do the work and do subpar work. Often the contractors will cause more issues than what you started with. The plumber replaced the garbage disposal and did not tighten the pipe. It caused water damage to the new cabinet.

Quality of work

Have been in our new build for 2.5 years now and our drywall has buckled and cracked in 3 different areas of the house. The grout is cracking and falling out from the tile floor in the bathroom, our fireplace won't work anymore and it turns out they wired it wrong, left a big hole at the bottom without insulation and cold air was coming in. Not only that, they didn't put the outside vent on properly. It should be flush with the siding, but they put it on uneven siding so you have air gaps. We've been breathing carbon monoxide. At our back garage door, they didn't seal it down at the bottom and we have water damage on the inside on the sheetrock. Now our driveway is crumbling . After you pay all this money for Their so called quality homes, you'd expect much better QUALITY! THEY DON'T DO MUCH AT THE 1 YEAR WARRANTY. CHEAP.
