Uses fraud to keep your money DISPUTE WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY!

Had a room booked through Walt Disney world. Did some research and thought I called Walt Disney world to change to a new hotel. This place was able to pretend to be Disney, cancel my reservation made with Disney (I called and Disney confirmed 3rd party travel agents can cancel their hotel reservations), and book me under them with the other hotel. There is no refund on the cancellation policy so when an emergency came up and we couldnt make our trip, reservation counter did not care and just keeps your money. I went through a billing dispute with my credit card company and explaining the situation they disputed the charge and refunded the money.

False info

Thought I was booking my reservation through the hotel on the phone. Thats what I was told. The guy I spoke with told me I was getting a roll away cot and free breakfast with my stay. Called the hotel to find out what tower I would be in while I stayed in the hotel. The hotel told me I didnt book with them. And there was no free breakfast and they do not have roll away cots. I have been on the phone with reservation.counter .com looking for them to give me an upgrade or something for the headache they put me through and they are doing nothing about it. Do not book with these people and make sure when you are calling the hotel that its actually the hotel and not this scammy company! Shame on you reservationcounter.com

Shocked that any Co. can get away with Robbery like this.

Booked a room by phone, thought I was calling Hilton hotel desk. The agent spoke very poor English, and talked so fast he was inaudible. He made the reservation for the wrong month and made it non-cancellable. Once I received the written conformation and called back, they told me they would investigate and get back to me. They replied by e-mail and said it was my mistake and, they could not refund the money. I blame Hilton Hotels just as much as this call center. If Hilton and the other chains refused to do business with them, they would not exist. Shame on you Hilton Hotels for letting these thieves take advantage of your customers. How can any business with this bad of a reputation stay in business except for your greed. They do not have a minus rating, or I would give it. Filed a complaint with the BBB against this Co. Just another complaint going nowhere. Out $344 and will not stay with Hilton Hotels in the future.

Horrible customer experience

Do not ever use reservation counter to make your hotel arrangements! You will get a confirmation number through email, but when you check into the hotel, the hotel will say they cannot pull up your record because they do not recognize the confirmation provided by reservation counter. Although we pre-paid two nights at a hotel, our reservation was canceled when we did not show up on the first night due to a death in the family. When we showed up on the second night to check in, we were told that there was no reservation in the system, it is their policy to cancel for no-shows, and they had no way of pulling up my reservation counter confirmation number. We ended up having to go to a different hotel altogether and pay another $200 a night even though I already pre-paid for two nights. The customer service on this issue was absolutely horrific with long hold times, representatives that were difficult to hear, and understand, and a complete lack of client focus. Im reporting this incident to Marriott management and the Better Business Bureau. Steer clear of this company at all costs!!!

DECEITFUL

Like a previous person, I thought I was reseving with Hilton. Could not understand why they did not have rooms left for a wedding block. Finally figured it out by calling the hotel directly and they changed it to the lower rate but now I am wondering if Reservation Counter is going to charge me or if I will end up getting the run around forever. Plus they have a non-refundable fee. I am disabled and taking my elderly mother to my niece's wedding and this is already taking way too much of my energy.

This is the worst third party reservation company that I have ever used. I would not recommend them for anything. After they take your money, all they want to do is give you the "run around".

On June 1, 2023 I booked 2 rooms at the Ramada by Wyndam Boston. They quickly charged my account the money for the rooms. When i called to confirm the reservations(July 18,2023) they were unable to provide me with a Ramada confirmation number. All the customer services representatives would do was ask for the same information over and over again. They said they would submit Support Team requests to locate the information and contact me back. They failed to call me back after saying that they would. And then when they finally did provide me with what I thought was a Ramada confirmation number, it was not the correct number. The representatives acted like I was doing something wrong. How dear I want to confirm my reservation before I check in to my hotel on Thursday. Do not use this third party site unless you want your blood pressure to increase because someone at this third party site failed to accurately do their job. RESERVATION COUNTER.COM NEEDS TO DO BETTER!

Talking to Sam not quite understanding his accent so I led the conversation of asking could he beat the an online booking same hotel same days same room for three nights he said he could he came back with a $2 lower after paying, and getting email we found out it was only 2 days not 3 supposed to be per Tony, under investigation. If this was recorded if you would listen to the first 3 minutes you would see that I asked him to match what I wanted.p

It's a scam

Booked a reservation thinking it was part of the hotel system. When I tried to change the reservation after noticing that the dates were changed incorrectly during the process (lots of different windows popping up, things got confused), I was told that I would be charged a $16.99 fee and I would have to cancel and do a new booking. OK, that sucks but I went back online and cancelled the first reservation and made a new one. Turns out the ENTIRE first reservation was non-refundable and Reservation Counter states that there is nothing they can do. They expect me to pay over $2,000 for a cancelled reservation that I had for only 30 minutes before I rebooked! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

THIS SITE IS A SCAM. WARNING-DO NOT USE THEM. FRAUDULENT CHARGES

Whatever you do, do not use this site or call their number. I made the mistake of using them as I thought I was calling the hotel. I thought it was fishy when they said that they could take my debit card. Thank goodness I gave them a credit card. As soon as I made a booking-that actually was not a reservation, my credit card blew up with fraudulent charges.

Reservation not made

Imagine showing up to a hotel on the beach to start your vacation and get to the hotel counter and they dont have your reservation. And the reservations you made a month prior thru Reservation Counter didnt even make the reservation what an embarrassment. I did get an immediate refund only after trying to book me again at another hotel less desirable accommodation to start my vacation. If I couldnt trust my first reservation thru Reservation Counter why would I trust them again and I saved 80$ securing the reservation myself so point is dont use this service be aware of there reservation search tool to redirect your reservation booking thru them.Horrible experience Booking # 41838**** randymunden75@***.com

Very deceptive business practices - Buyer beware

Accidentally booked with them before realizing it was a third party booking site. Booked a refundable hotel stay and noticed the non-refundable $16 fee (okay). Went to cancel the hotel reservation the same day and to this day have not received a full refund, minus the $16. Attempted to contact their customer service, spoke with a "supervisor" who refused to refund us. 100% do not recommend!

Disappointed

Made reservation through reservation counter called a week before to the hotel to confirm my reservation n they said its 3rd party to call them I did they said yes you have reservations but any questions call hotel. Get to hotel they tell me we never got your credit card information we going to honor what they promise and we have rooms available but they never send anything to us. I got charged for there fees. You better of doing the reservation yourself. When u call them who answer the phone dont even know.

The Absolute Worst Company Ever

We clicked on their site by mistake as they were above the website for the hotel we were looking at. We had made a reservation at the hotel directly yesterday but never got confirmation. The man we spoke to said he would call the hotel desk and find out if we did have a reservation. He came back and said that we did not so my husband made a reservation with them. Well, in fact, we did have a reservation at the hotel already so now we had two. After calling right back to cancel, due to their lies, they basically told us too bad and hung up on us. In addition, the price of the room is $165. more than the hotel was charging. What a rip off and so angry

Price quoted and price billed was way different.

I did a search on Google and found a hotel, I thought I was talking to the front desk but was infact talking to a third party (reservation counter) the agent was very convincing that I was infact talking to hotel. When she quoted me a price of $159 she said because it was the last room she could not offer a discount. When I got the bill it was actually $217 which included $41 for tax and service fee and another $15 service fee. When we arrived at the hotel I was talking about my experience and only then did I find out I had made the reservation through a third party. They told me it should have only been $159 plus $13 taxes and they had plenty of rooms available! I've been trying to get Reservation Counter to explain the charges. There response was 'there agent explained all fees, that didn't happen!!

AGENT LIED (DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM)(SCAM)

Was looking online for hotels and came across a phone number for what I thought was customer service for the hotel. Called customer service and was told that they could extend my reservation to 2pm since my husband was checking in late, so we decided to book. My husband drove 17 hours to get to this hotel to be told that there was no note in the system about an extension. Contacted reservation counter and was told by Supervisor Amy that there was nothing that could be done except for giving me the phone number for the hotel or being transferred to customer support. So, the agent pretty much lied to us and now we are being told there is nothing that can be done. DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!
