Two Different Services, Telephone Numbers, and Two Different Answers.

Not sure of what's going on, but I called to report that I tried to reset my password and when I received an email link for that, all I got was a blank webpage. I tried refreshing it to see if that might make it kick in, and it didn't. First I called 888.570.6962, I spoke to Briana (last name unknown) at approximately 09:53 Hours CST. I explained my situation and after getting my information she put me on hold, and came back on the line and told me to call another number directly to Reputation.COM. I asked if the number was 888.570.6961, she verified it as yes. I called that number, and another female answered (I forgot her name) and I explained the situation and she said she would give me the real number to Reputation. COM. That number was 855.432.4880. She asked me what company or agency I was with, I told her I'm an independent customer. She was quiet for a second or two and asked for my information and afterwards, she said she's report it. That's it. I hung up. Not sure I want to continue doing business with them.

Telemarketers refuse to remove our firms # from their call list. Manipulators of information so as to sell you the "fix". Two years of assuring us they would stop calling with solicitations and theycontinue. Rip off artists. Buyer Beware. ..........

I paid 15k $ and it was a total ripoff

I signed up and paid 15k $ in order to deal with 2 negative hit jobs on myself and my companies . I had a very straightforward issue with 2 reviews on my google search. I hired reputation .com who promised that these negative reviews would no longer be on my first page of google search within 6 months of signup date . It has been 18months and nothing has changed. Now reputation.com wants more money and promises that I did not wait long enough for them to do their job . I have refused to ante up more dollars and they wont return my calls - This is a scam and their promises are a hustle - I am very disappointed in their poor results - I am contemplating litigation to have my 15 thousand bucks returned. I used to work @***.com, this is how you do it for FREE...

I used to work at Reputation.com a year ago as an account associate of the reputation management department, (I was in charge of doing the work and website creations to suppress clients' negative reviews) until they let us all go, without severance packages, so they can outsource to India and get cheaper wages. So, I want to share the classified documents they gave us on how to do the work. Below is a list of websites that they sign you up for. There is no magic to what they do, Reputation.com just signs you up for a bunch of websites and they hope it will outrank the negative. Signing up for the below websites is time-consuming, so two of my buddies at Reputation.com started a company three years ago based off do-it-yourself software. Called "SearchManipulator" (www.searchmanipulator.com) the software automatically signs you up for the websites below, and does the complicated backlinking part for you. Most of the below websites have a section to add "What websites are you on?". This is the backlinking part. It's easy to do, but hard to get good at. But the SearchManipulator software does it for you automatically, and a good job of it. There is also a do-it-yourself software called BrandYourself, but I can not give them a good review. BrandYourself is a scam, in my opinion, as their platform is aimed to get you to sign up for their one website, so they can have a lot of users, and then they can spam you selling their professional services (which are much more expensive than Reputation.com's). One website is not enough to suppress a negative website, you need dozens. Shame on you, Pete Kistler. There is also LinkAloha V3. Although the service is frequently sold out because it is borderline spammy, I give them a good review, as they sign you up for dozens of websites like SearchManipulator does. They limit their users so they don't cross the spammy line, despite getting really close. This service requires some computer expertise. SearchManipulator and BrandYourself do not require computer expertise. You can also check out BacklinkGenie, once you have done SearchManipulator's platform, do further boost the sites created. The websites below should not be all signed up for instantly. Sign up for up to 20 websites below at first, then up to 10 websites at least every 2 weeks. If you sign up for too many websites too quickly, Google will think it is spam. 1. LinkedIn 2. Twitter 3. Viadeo 4. Xing 5. Wordpress 6. About.Me 7. Ziggs 8. BusinessCard2 9. Multiply 10. Emurse 11. Weak

I engaged reputation.com to counter a negative result in my google search results. Essentially, Reputation.com kept promising results and no results ever materialized. What's even worse is that Google, whose motto is/was "do no evil," doesnt care if its fact or fiction as long as its published that's good enough for them. Back to the service- overall my sense is that these guys are overworked commission salespeople with huge rosters of clients and little incentive to actually follow through and help people. My rep was continually trying to upsell me. Result: $3G down the drain and no change in the search results. Only positive is that they told me how to affect the results myself by continuously publishing and linking key social sites. Do yourself a favor and do it yourself.

Reputation.com is a SCAM

I paid $10,000 to have damaging internet BS moved so that is was more difficult to access. After a number of weeks, virtually nothing was done despite my being told that there would be progress quickly. Unfortunately, I did not go online to read revues of Reputation until after I realized that they were really bad at what they do. Their CEO is a Harvard lawyer, so I ma sure he is well versed in how to rip people off without getting sued. I think this company takes your money, does minimal work so they can say they did something, and then they move on to the next customer and SCAM them the same way.

Reputation - Personal Information Disclosure Review from San Francisco, California

iAds the mistake if giving their salesperson my real name (which is unusual) and directing him to the information I wanted hidden. It's now ranked number 1. Above my linked in profile. And if course they're calling me saying they can fix it. Certain they're actually causing the harm so that I will give then 7K to fix it. I've found a mid on craigslist that can do what they do for $100. Do not use them. Do NOT give them any info unless you intend to engage them.

They took $20K and did NOTHING

I work for a company who hired Reputation.com two years ago after an employee was involved in a legal matter that put our company's reputation at risk. Reputation.com charged $10k for the first year, and setup these ridiculous blogs and sites all over the internet that had terrible writing, non-existent graphics, and invalid information. Over the year these sites they created did NOTHING to bump down the negative google search results. It is run by a bunch of young, arrogant guys, who get rude and throw blame back on you if you question them. The second year, my boss made the decision to re-up with RPD because the case was going to trial, and for the second $10k, RPD did NOTHING. Literally absolutely nothing. They let the original sites expire, they were unresponsive over phone or email. If one employee at our company would call to file a complaint, they would call other employees at the annual renewal time to try to get more money. They actually tried to auto-renew again, when it wasn't even our contract date, and hit our Credit Card for another $10k. We disputed through our CC company and got that money back, but we deserve to have every cent we spent on them refunded. Such a waste of money. Here is how you get rid of negative sites on Google. Create good content and have every employee in your agency click on every positive site once a week, and NEVER click on the negatives. Over time, for FREE, you can do more good that Reputation.com does with $20k.

Money Back Guarantee Review

I signed up with reputation.com b/c they gave me a money back guarantee. I read a lot of negative reviews on then, so I quickly asked for my money back before they started any work. They gave me a very difficult time and tried to strong arm me, and called them numerous times. I ended up contacting my credit card to dispute and ended up getting my money back. Bunch of a@^$&@!

Beware of Brent from Reputation.com

I bought an extremely expensive reputation program from Brent the VP of Sales at Reputation.com. He called me numerous times telling me I had unflattering content online (which i now believe he created) and that he would help me get it removed. I paid thousands of dollars for his help and it moved to the second page of google search for about a month before returning to the #1 spot. They keep calling me to upsell me to a more "potent package" which they claim will solve the problem. Meanwhile I ask to speak with Brent and they say he's not available. Do not do business with this man or his company! Fraud.

Bait and switch

Reputation.com promised to remove all derogatory items (pics and content) from 3 search engines. After upgrading me from $400 to $1250, they did removed a few items. They then wanted $1000 more without the guarantee for the initially offered that the salesman promised. When i called to dispute their promise, they said that they promised particular links to be removed but not the entire records off the site. the salesman then tried to tell me that to read the terms of agreement although the agreement was verbal. they are a *** company and i recommend that individuals just try to remove the negative information themselves, sale the money, the hassle of the dispute, and the frustration involved. if they had just done what they promised they would have a good business. bit not doing the job then trying to suck more money out of you is the *** of the year. RipOff.com is a better name!

Reputation.com is scamming its own employees

Reputation.com, hiding under the name Sky Publishers, has slashed the pay to its contractors (writers and editors who do all the work) BY 50-60%. I am an editor originally hired full-time at $14/hour. Then they changed to a software system where I was paid per piece, either $3 or $6, depending on the piece. Now that's been slashed to $3 regardless. It's worse for writers; where last week they were making $20/piece, they're now making $7.50, with a "bonus" incentive that's untenable. Reputation.com is advertising for writers and editors, and has lifted the U.S. citizen requirement. We are being outsourced. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REASON. THEY ARE ***.

Reputation.com is a terrible company all around

Please spread the word: Reputation.com (aka Sky Publishers) is the absolute worst company in the world. Do not work for them and do not hire them for anything ever. They do not care about their employees, ruin families, and rip off everyone they can. Heather Subba (aka Heidi Subba) is heartless person with no professional skills that only fires people and cuts their pay. Their products will also be severely reducing in quality due to their recently updated pay schedule of less than minimum wage. Every time anyone moves up in the company, they fire them, because they don't want to pay anyone a decent wage, and because they don't want anyone standing up for anyone else's rights. I've known dozens of people that had their pay cut off for no good reason. They also take advantage of contractors/freelancers.
