I hate rent cafe!!!!!
I hate rent cafe!!! Redwood posts lease and other stuff I cannot get to like maintenance issues, and I cannot even access it because Rent Cafe sucks so bad with log ins and favoring apartments over tenants I give them a -10, dont ever use them or Redwood Apartments, they both are deceitful and suck

I have called customer service and emailed them. The recorded message tells you to contact your apartment management.
I did that 6 weeks ago, 4 weeks ago and 2 weeks ago.
No resolution has been made. RentCafe has no tech support and no customer support whatsoever.

We're supposed to be able to view our rent statements, pay our rent and put in maintenance requests on this website. RentCafe's website decided my account was invalid 6 weeks ago. They expect the apartment management to be their tech support. They have no working phone numbers for support and no online support. Now, I have to take time out of my day to go to the bank and get a money order to pay the rent. It's very inconvenient. If an apartment uses RentCafe, look elsewhere. Don't rent from them. This website is garbage. The people who own it are garbage.

I am so happy that you are a bootleg company that I can so so easily You have the mio apartments, trying to pay me out as if Ive done something.. well, how about this? They have not told you that they are in litigation with me because of the an ethical practices that they are doing and what is so amazing to me as I get to sue you too You are I think its funny. and Im laughing as well because once I prove that you had someone fraudulently open an account for me that I have never had for you, and then report fraud in the amounts of money that I dont know why they are in litigation to save their job and you as a company, you leave me to be able to see you as well Lol keep running from the law Because it means nothing to me As soon as I finish doing mio apartments for lying on me Then I can sue you for accepting a lie. I never signed up for your program nor do I owe you anything and it is so funny that I have proof that I have never signed up with you, but you get to determine me moving on to a new apartment because of a fraudulent worker who is being sued as of now It tickles me because now I can file suit against you, because you are not contacting me nor cooperating with the fact that Im suing the Mio apartments for a liar that they have hired to tell you that I owe something that I do not I cannot wait to show the judge, the ledger that her coworker sent me not knowing that she was disgusting and would make a fake account to make it harder for me to vacate from where Im at while she continuously abuses the neighbors and does nothing in the community so get ready because it cost nothing for me to sue you as well you have a wonderful day and if I was you, I would just send to mean to email at you got the email just hit reply letting me know when this account was started because I didnt do it and if you dont want to be caught up in the fraudulent *** that she is doing then you will send me every piece of paperwork that you have that has to do with TonyaEdwards and I will leave it at that or else you will pay the same way that those fraudulent disgusting people who have put me through *** in the last year will pay oh and by the way, if you did not know they are now in court going through litigation with me and she is continuously harassing me so again if you dont want to be involved what I would do is to send me any paperwork about this account and with that being said, you have a wonderful day if not, you will get a subpoena as well take care

I am honestly giving you more than one chance to contact me Tonya Edwards at 774-242-**** or you will be included in the lawsuit that I have going against a Mio apartments as of now with several charges It is my belief that one of their employees has made a fake account if you would like not like to be subpoenaed and involved in what is been going on since March you will contact me. I am requesting any and all records pertaining to me and my email or phone number at the mio apartmentswhich you should not have because I never applied as far as my recollection is concerned If you do not forward this to me, I will make a motion in the ongoing court to involve you and get the information needed for me to prove damage Again contact me

Can't access rentcafe resident app
I can't log in to the rentcafe resident app. So far me and my family have been paying rent by going straight to the office. But I cannot continue like this if I ever leave on vacation and can't pay in person. I have tried contacting rentcafe and have spoken about this problem multiple times with my landlords. But they say they cannot do anything since rentcafe is a third party app.

Insufficient funds mistake
Need to be able to talk to a person concerning fault on your end . I was told I had insufficient funds and it was a mistake confirmed by my bank

Double payment of $775 made by misunderstanding on how payment system works. So I thought I had auto set up? 4th of July made me think that rent was paid . I wasnt sure so I paid $775 again. RentCafe won't let me log in..
RentCafe software glitched and won't recognize my log in. Apartment management unable to help. RentCafe has NO customer service. Horrible software. Horrible business. Horrible company. Now, I have take time out of MY day to go get a money order from the bank to pay my rent. I'd give "0" stars in I could.

Rent cafe forcefully charged a $1.95 convience fee when paying rent via electronically. This new charge went into effect on June 9th 2023. Paying rent electronically shouldnt have a fee. The fact they try get away with theft is beyond me. To force a charge without another option to pay rent free isnt legal in ca. The manager here at Heritage Point apts in Stanton ca charges a pay by check fee of $25. So youre forced to pay online and now rent cafe is adding on a fee.

I went online looking for one bedroom apartments and studios in Las Vegas. I cross reference them with other reviews the pictures were an accurate and the tenants very unhappy one in particular company Westlake seems to enjoy making life miserable for the have Nots. It doesnt seem like Rent Cafe even send anyone out to check on the properties or makes sure that their reputation is in good standing. Of corse, scams would post the best fake pictures to increase revenue. But I never thought it would be rent café and other sites that would be in cahoots with each other to deceive the public.
