Lousy Pole Saw Supply
I purchased a Ranger II RM1035P pole saw several years ago and had good service from it. Recently, my nephew broke it beyond repair, so I looked immediately to get another one. No dealer had it in stock: Home Depot, Lowe's, Northern Freight, True Value---no one. Not even Amazon had it in stock. But the Remington Power Tools website cheerfully advised me to check all these and other sources for the item---and all of them were "out of stock." So, after some researching of brands, user reviews, prices, functionality, and apparent quality, I found what appears to be a comparable saw from another manufacturer on Amazon and just bought it. Others undoubtedly have been disgusted at this breezy Remington website babbling about the wonders of Remington pole saws that are not available. Who knows how many sales they have lost. Tough luck for Remington. No reason for me to go back, ever, if I like this new one, and there I was, ready to buy and Remington blocked the way.

CAUTION !!! Remington Turkey steals our money. They make fun of customers and have fun. They tarnish your name and brand. We are disgusted with them now. There are many victims in Turkey. medical doctor gül çulha TURKEY.

Chainsaw leaking bar oil
I can't seem to stop the bar oil reservoir from leaking. What can I do to stop this. I have tried everything to try to fix it.

Bad chainsaw?
Wouldn't start and when it finally did, it wouldn't stay running. So I cleaned out the carburator and I'm going to replace the gas. I'll let you know if I am still having problems.

My 1 month old gas trimmer stalled
I bought this one and only used for several times. However today I can't keep it running. I know it doesn't cost too much, but still very sad because I have to find someone to repair it.

Trimmer does not start
I contated their service center and they never where able to tell me where to take the unit for service or Warranty. The lady was so los, she taught that Oregon was more near to Puerto Rico than South Carolina. A real bad experince.

Technical assistance for pole trimmer
I contacted the company for assistance with an electric pole trimmer that wasn't working. The number provided on the Remington website wasn't working properly, as it would not let me select a language to proceed to the next menu. After routing through pissed consumer I got a response within 24 hours. However, the response was not helpful. Remington was bought by MDI and stopped providing service or warranty to it's products, so I'm SOL.

Remington electric hedge trimmer shipped to me doesn't work.
All 3 service centers you sent me to never worked on and don't service Remington tools. There apparently are no Remington tools service centers in Northern Virginia.

Worthless Pole Saw (Ranger 2)
I have bought three of these over the years. The first two malfunctioned just after the warranty period. The third one had a defective pole -- no power. Closest authorized repair dealer is 4-hr RT. Would cost $44 in tolls, ferries, gas + parking half the cost of the pole saw! Filed a case with MTD, but no response in more than a week.

My pole saw barely lasted the warranty period. The bearings failed and caused motor to burn up.
I was doing a normal tree trimming job around my home , but half way through the 29 Crate murtles that I was trimming the motor on the pole saw locked up. I could not use it anymore.

Remington RM8EPS Ranger Complaint from Frank Punturieri fpunturieri@***.com Packaging a Disaster I just received this as a Christmas present. This is the second one as the first received looked repackaged. I attached a picture of what it looked like when I opened the box. VERY POORLY PACKAGED. Cardboard broken pieces all over the box. I am not rating the product but very disappointed on how this package was delivered.
