Gift card issues

I am having an issue using a gift card that my mother had purchased for your brand at Cost Cutters. I have use the card one time at a Cost Cutters in new Berlin Wisconsin, but had a lot of issues trying to get them to use it. I then was very upset about the way I was treated and did not want to go back to that Cost Cutters, and found another salon Supercuts that was also owned by Regis from my understanding they would except the gift card but when I showed up for my appointment, they said they do not except a gift card although I was told from a previous employee couple days ago that they do except the gift cards I would just like to get my haircut if somebody could please help me find someplace to get my haircut with this gift card that my mother purchased

I have a serious complaint/ pissed off

Agreed to come in for a consultation for highlighting my hair. We talked and after a test strand I was quoted a fair price and the procedure/steps for the highlight. When I was finished I finally got to see the results I was so discussed because there was no highlights and he did totally something else called a melting. Never what I asked for nor wanted. I wanted highlights and got crap that I paid for. Want my money back

My daughters hair WAS DESTROYED BY a so called professional

My daughter was supposed to get a cute and highlight.. what she got should be a crime.. she got her hair done for her sweet 16bday party which has since passed . I was supposed to receive a call back in 24-48hours.. that was Wednesday.. here we are Monday at 11am and no call.. my kids hair is trashed she is still a mess and I cant even so much as get a damn call back.. this is beyond ***

Safety at your salon in Cocoa, FL #1154

I visited your salon recently where my husband got a haircut and clipper trim. The stylist was sick and coughing all over the place. In this day and age with all of us facing a pandemic, she should have stayed home. She didn't even cover her mouth! I think this is reckless and hazardous behavior by your staff. I hope my husband and I don't come down with COVID. He was feeling bad for days afterward. Only two stylists but the place was not well managed.

Bad experience and rude staff

It was my daughters first time getting her hair colored... and it was her 15th Birthday. The lady didnt explain anything about the coloring process, bring out any color swatches, or ask any questions. 3 hours later, her hair literally had no color in it. After dried I was upset and asked why it was like that. Then she goes well we are out of the color you wanted so I diluted a different color... didnt tell us any of this or talk to us about it at all. So I was upset. My daughter asked her to put more color in. Another hour later (so 4 hours total now) it was definitely a different color, but NOTHING even close to what we wanted. Then to top it off, she goes into the back room and says to another stylist HER PARENTS ARE *** where my daughter could hear her and got upset. So 4 hours for a color that was a disaster and a person insult from a crabby stylist who kept pulling her phone out and txting on it and didnt talk to us at all... cost me $250 I will NEVER be going there again. And honestly that stylist should be fired. She is horrible at hair and a terrible person in general.

Disability discrimination

I was discriminated against on 3-17-2021 because I have a disability and require a service dog for a company to me. I WORK for Walmart back home and have always gotten my hair done at smart style there and have never had an issue. Keep in mind federal ADA has power over state laws they are trying to put words in my mouth saying he I told them training where he is very obviously not and is popular for task work on TikTok and YouTube. The stylist called her manager who both told me that they had a health inspector coming this week and if they saw the dog in the salon, or they found dog hair they would be in trouble. I did sit down in the salon chair for a brief second and had Apollo lay down underneath the salon table where he laid on three clumps of hair. I do not understand as to why dog hair versus human hair is an issue aren't they supposed to clean after every person's hair cut? Furthermore, I have been blocked from commenting or review on their Facebook. I tried to inform them that local health codes don't apply for service dogs!

Sanitizing charge for sitting in a chair

You are getting charged $3.95 for them to take a rag and wipe of the seat of your chair. Any other pace you go, they do it for free just to keeping customers coming back. I will never go there again. It took 2 seconds for the stylist to wipe the seat of the chair. What a rip off!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rude manager

Tonya, manager of Smartstyle in Altus, OK, tips customers off. She has her stylist, Rainey charge $20 for a Mans haircut. This is supposed to include a shampoo which is never offered. No express cuts for men is they use razor and scissors. When questioned, Tonya held up her hands and saud these are my skills. They have ripped my husband off several times. Was told today he is no longer allowed in the store backed by Corporate and Tonya the manager. Feel sorry for Rainey. She said she cant help it. The salon is going downhill with many good stylist quitting and going elsewhere. I went to get styling products last week at 4:50 p.m. stayed on the boundary marker and listened to Tonya and Rainey talk. Finally at 4:58 Tonya looks at me and I tell her I needed a lot of styling products and she told me she closes at 5:00 and they were closed and I would have to come back. Saw Rainey in Walmart and apologized to me. With so many businesses closing including Smartstyle Salons, it would seem they would be customer friendly. Altus is a small town, however, we do have choices and I predict Altus Smartstyle wont be open much longer with What is going on there.

Don't Try it!!!

I had gone several years ago to a Regis Salon and did not receive or could say anything good about it... So years passed. I received a gift card in Dec., 2019 so today I though I would give them another try. Phoenix Az is a big area. I finally found a decent review, called and was diverted to another salon. It had closed. So when the diverted number was contacted they stated that the company had been sold and they were not accepting gift cards from this company. They stated that it was a Regis salon but they were not accepting their gift cards. Okay so I called the number on the back of card and they only gave me a go-around. I am in search of a salon that will take it and it may NOT feasible to even find a salon. What a waste of time.

My daughter had her hair colored black and asked the stylist to change it up to an auburn shade, showed her pictures and was done. The stylist did not extract the black from her hair and the result is a two toned mess with red roots and black over the rest. My daughter explained that she wasn’t satisfied and the stylist stated that well of coarse it turned out two shades. Really wishing for a resolution following a $145 color and trim.

Don't go to these salons...there ripping ppl off

They treat employees like trash.. unfair pay..everyone is blamed for everything even if u didn't do anything. Ppl let's take action..this company is ripping off clients and employees in a major way..

Dont go

My daughter and I both recieved haircuts at the salon in plattsburgh. We both explained throughly how we wanted our hair cut. It was not done at all how we asked. My daughter walked out crying. They didnt even take any $ off. $72 for 2 regular cuts that were terrible. Ridiculous.. never going there again.

The senior stylist and mgr set up my stylist to fail

My co worker just got her first job newly licensed. I went in 10-4-2029 with virgin level 6 wanting blonde highlights level 9-10 ash blonde. The other stylist were jealous that a newbie got such a big ticket item and all three left for lunch planned at the same time. When I complained I was verbally attacked as if I was blaming my stylist, when all I said was I was shocked no one helped you with this. After 45 min of bleach and only the back done someone came back from lunch. I asked her to help and she said "I'm not gonna help, she needs to learn on her own" I was verbally attacked by the manager and AST. Mgr. They over charged me 70$ and I don't have blonde highlights over virgin brown hair. I have a bad brassy bleach. After being overcharged and verbally tag team attacked I just want my money back. I guess it's good they over charged me cause if I get a refund I'll need all of for color correction. I'll have to fight the full on bleach with low lights for yrs now.
