Worst bank disrespectful

Yesterday August 30, 2023 I got a notice from my bank that my check to Regions cleared. I went onto the app to check my account. I opened this account as a saving for my safety deposit box to take the money out yearly and I wanted to maintain at least 100 dollars in there since the box is 89 a year. So I went to check my account and I could not sign in and I was told to call the bank I did. When I called the bank Iwas told my account was closed and was done by the manager at my branch. There was no further information given. I called my branch they were very rude on the phone and i gave my information and would not give any information as to why my account was closed. I lost my temper and finally the person named Jose said I will have the manager call me. I went and did research and saw that Regions Bank has a reputation of doing this. I called the bank back and told them I was coming in today and closing my safety deposit box. If a bank is going to treat me with disrespect, I am not going to give them my business. I went to day to empty out my safety deposit box. After I did the gen z attendant, and the manager gave me a difficult time they wanted me to pay them for the box. I told them I am not giving them a penny I cursed them out and I signed the paper that was their left the keys and left the bank. Never in my life and I am 51 years old has a financial institution treated me with such disrespect. I had problem with Regions before and I closed all my accounts with them I still had my safety deposit box there only because of the location of the bank in the Financial district The company as a whole is very unprofessional the banking system at that bank does not respect its customers they close accounts never has this happened at any other institution whether itis a small amount is not the banks business i only had that account for the box. I am not paying them a penny the banks has the keys I am done with this financial institution and- I will sue for harassment and mental anguish for what the bank did to me. This bank does not care about customers just to make money and do not care whether you stay or go. The world has changed and not for the better companies are selfish they hire kids who do not know first off what customer service is nor do they care to hire truly professional people. The banking industry is not what it once was a place of respect and dignity.

Amazon took my money

How to transfer funds

Staff assisted on transferring funds from MM Account to Checking. Staff displayed outstanding communication, technical, and interpersonal skills which exceeded my expectation.

OD Grace Debit Charge

I had an overdraft fee I had to pay before 8pm central time so I paid it. But because I didnt make a cash deposit and used cash app to pay it (They dont tell u that u cant pay a certain way) Regions added a OD Grace Period charge. They refuse to remove it. This is the worst bank ever! Regions bank is a complete Rip-off!!

BAD Customer service !!!!!!

Applied for Line of Credit 3 times !!! Delayed 3 times BY Regions I had ALL documentation that was requested by Regions Regions does NOT want to lend money !!!

9 day hold on check

Regions took a $1,870.00 check for deposit and posted to my account. I made 3 purchases that were well covered by the deposit. Come to find out the following day they reversed to deposit and put the check on hold for 9 days. I went to the bank to find out what happened. Then the next day, they put the check on hold for 11 days. The check was from my Voya Financial from my 401K. Voya said they never heard this before. They said if the check was over $5,000 that they may hold it for a couple extra days, but not 11 days. If I went to a Voya retail store I could have cashed the check with them immediately and deposited the cash at Regions. Instead Regions used deceptive trade practices to hold my check and charge me for $144 for overdraft fees. Very slimy business practices. Kyle Richardson 704-572-****

Fraudulent activity

Stop paying out fraudulent checks on mobile app. Ive reported the fraud already and they keep allowing it and assessing fees to my account. Meanwhile I'm broke and can't pay my other bills on time. This is bs. Out I f food and have a 14 year-old too. I'm very disappointed and am stressing out. Resolve this now. Close this account NOW!

I have been a customer since 2016 and have 2 accounts but for some reason they constantly change the rules concerning one account that I have. First they told me make 10 transactions a month (Branch mgr told me this) then they changed that to 10 transactions before the 10th of the month (a supervisor told me this) but still charge ME $8 so I asked for my $8 back but obviously they dont care about losing my business because Im tired of being strung around and deceived by these people.

Stolen identity and money

Regions Bank stole my money a cash out on your account is a cash out. I used to be a Bank Teller at First Citizens Bank on Main Street and Sumter Hwy . First thing they teach you is cash in cash out. I put 712.00 in the bank and someone else cash out 412.00 then stole additional 340.00 .on 11/22/2022 now that someone's birthday that I know I don't know who did this one either but someone changed the transition and the way it on paper it looks like I spent the money but the debits and the credits don't match up just so bad how I have been getting treated around town just at every bank someone steals from me I drive and old car and the windows don't go down hot as *** and I have doctor bills from having so much surgery and problems with arthritis nothing else just pure pain I can't afford for people to just keep using me as a door mat and stealing from me.Wells Fargo Bank only Bank gave me some money back.

Horrible customer service

I had logged on to my online banking and attempted to use Zell to send a payment to a business that had performed a service for me. Since I had not sent money to this sender before the bank requested that I call Zell fraud alert to sure that this was a legitimate transaction. After being cut off from their automated service twice and an extremely long whole time. The person said that I would have to further verify my identity by going to a local branch. This is after I had already verified my identity through multiple steps, including her sending a text message to my phone which is registered to the account. I told her that this would be difficult because I am traveling and it is Saturday. I was able to find a local branch though when I stopped there, they were closed on Saturdays. I called back and attempted to explain this. She said that if I need to send money emergently that I should use another third-party app. So the bank who is in control of many dollars in my account and responsible for my financial transactions is telling me to use another service to pay a debt! She could not give me a reason why this was a requirement. She said it was only that the system is requiring it. I will be transferring all my money to another financial institution Monday.

Two Months after filing a dispute on March 10,2023 and supplying Regions Dispute Department with full documentation I have NOT received my money Bank from an online scam.

I filed a dispute involving an online charge that I didnt make. The dispute department at Regions bank DCDisputes@***.com received all the supporting documentation. Two months later no reimbursement to my account of my $109.90. In addition the way they treat me is equal to elder abuse. Filing complaints against the bank with the Federal Reserve ,the O.C.C, the FTC. Dont Bank with them youll end up with a bank that goes out of business because they are so bad.
