Customer complaint / horrible experience

I stayed at the knights in and there were some horrible experiences.. ( I need to speak to a respresentative, of the RLH brand ) because they handled the time we had stayed there wrong .( there was things wrong .. the toilet was coming off from the floor .. there was paint peeling off the tub.. the tub would not hold water .. the switch to hold the water in the tub was moving and broken . The curtain was ripped and falling down in the bedroom area .. and the ottoman was ripped all over the place and peeling ( I would like to speak to some one higher up to explain this .)

Bugs in my room

I have photoa where I was bitten all over my body while staying at the knights in in Augusta ga off boy scout rd. I will send the pictures upon request. I feel that I am due some sort of compensation for my misery. Please respond as soon as possible to let me know or I will go to the press. Thank you.

To make a complaint

An 18 yr old booked and paid for a room for a week. The website clearly states you must be at least 18 or older. Old enough to enter into a binding contract which in the state of VA IS 18. However the manager on duty said you had to be 21. When I (a 41 yr old) called for clarification as to where it states on the website you must be 21 he kept repeating "on the website" I'd say where and he would just repeat on the website. Then he proceeds to hang up on when as I'm trying to explain the VA is 18 not 21 for hotel, that's the individual hotel's preference. Their website states 18 not 21, and he turned away this 18 yr old and told that he couldn't refund his money either. That manager need training or to be fired for how he treats his guests! Completely unacceptable and very unprofessional! Will never stay here again

I was overcharged by a woman who wasn’t even the front desk lady solely because she has my card and the late night guy charged me the same price from the room that I had already paid.

Their mistake is not my problem You cant just charge a card because u want to Very unprofessional she should have let me know what was going on before I got the extra charge Not cool

Didn't get refunded at all My money but my account pending 85.73 money tookin though from my account & also was taking for reservation already and I was told I be refunded but I keep getting told same thing can't do anything I have talk to booking.Com already and I have emails & they fix situation and prove everything & that property can do it and they talk 2booking.com. N I was also at the property Knights Inn and told Face to Face I will be refunded & will do now & nothing yet & this was at 11:45pm last night June, 26,23_by say 12:15-12:20am Talk n told me then they will be refunded me right now and nothing yet n took money 85.73 for reservation already so I wish just please give me my money back ASAP any fees okay just want my refund back to my account asap I did everything & Did this at property face to face so I feel like I was lied 2no refund also feel like my money was just tookin already again 4 reservation booked confirmation number 128052****926888**** Pin043601

Problems money didn't get refunded n was told I will be refunded n didn't they already also took 85.73 for the reservation and agreed with booking. Com when they also talk to them not understanding now what's going on

Filthy room and roaches and bed bugs & gas smell

No one still has contacted me from redlion hotel. I have written in to them and called nothing at all. I finally called the state health dept You should not rent a room and get attacked by bed bugs, and be gassed the the 2nd room.

False advertising/inaccurate descriptions

The Knights Inn on Frontage avenue in Plant city, Fl needs to be closed down! The online photos are completely inaccurate, paint peeling no updates or repairs, roaches, holes in walls, no couch or table, one lamp with no working outlet for it, smelly and overall filthy! If I was the CEO I would want to know if a franchise made me and my companys reputation look so terrible. Send someone to stay there undercover and look at the evidence yourself. Hotel Plant City, LLC is the owner of this one.

Room Not Acceptable

UpDate: I just sent email to Corporate Headquarters along with picture. Red Lion Hotels apparently own Knights Inn. Took me awhile to find it. Also have let Priceline know. God Bless On June 3,2023 my 13 yr old grand son & I stayed at Knights Inn in Paxinos PA. I do not mind Renovations BUT... My room was dirty & had mold. I couldn't use the pull out bed for grandson because it only opened half way due to opening into the bed. Plus there were half eaten life saver & dirt. Bathroom had mold on ceiling tiles and was dirty around the toilet. I don't think owners understood English and girl behind desk didn't seem to care when I told her. Total bill for room was $123.00 & some change for one night. I have pictures. I booked the room on line. I'll have to find it for my order/contract ID. But I wanted you to know. I took a chance when I saw 2 stars. But places are Very limited: next to none in that area.

Refund of deposit failure

It's been 9 days since I checked out. I was told my deposit would be back on my card within 48 hrs of checkout. Not true. 3 calls to hotel later, 1 call to Chime later, no money returned...unhappy customer.

Complain about terrible employee and broken stuff

The employee at front desk, she was very nasty. I approached her about broken ac and tv and she offered to try and fix. But was so mean, I said forget it. When I asked her her name, she refused to give it and crossed her arms over her chest. She kept saying I was on camera and being recorded.. she made me feel like I was dealing with a criminal matter as opposed to a hotel sutuatiin. U asked for managers name, she refused to give it!!

Major issues with a stay

I rented two rooms in 05/27/23 and checked out 4 hours later. The issues were bad 1 room had a gas smell or paint thinner, smell bad enought the ones in that room were sick for 2 days with headaches, vomiting ect and the issue with the other room is it has bed bugs bad. I can send pics showing how many times i was bit in 4 hours. I said something to the hotel and they sounded like i was getting a refund but that hasnt happened. If this doesnt get something going i am calling the news media and the state to have them investigate. When I mentioned it to the front desk they were like sorry but idk why they rented those rooms.

Refund of deposit

There was supposed to be a $50.00 refund to my debit card. For a deposit I made sure they checked the room when I checked out last week and it still hasnt been a deposit to my account. I either need my money back deposited or I need to be able to come up there to pick it up personally. I was at the 310 North Sam Houston Pkwy location in room 3075.for about 2 to 3 weeks starting from May 2nd I believe. But this doesnt even scratch the surface of how rude and unaccomodating they were. The front desk clerk the older man with the (BIG mustache) was very rude and borderline disrespectful. The older white lady was rude everyday she yelled at the kids as if they were her own while they were in the pool. They barely opened the pool. It was up to their discresion when to open it. The weight room was never allowed to be open although it was indoors (only to hotel managers and workers and their families) which sucks cuz thats the selling point of staying in that borderline raggedy place. It was a fonky stinch in the room that smelled like moth balls as soon as u walked in. Kinda embarrassing. The lights went off the day of the storm for several hours in the morning (4) and again around 6 for about an hour and a half. (It got so hot in there u could start to smell the other guest body odors. My allergies started bothering me and I caught a full blown common cold) and they didnt even apologize for the inconvenience, and when I asked was there gonna be a discount the next day the younger clerk assured me it wasnt gonna be but to ask the manager to be sure then proceeded to charge me 70 dollars instead of the 65 I was paying prior days. Then said cuz it was the weekend. They didnt tell me that upon checking in. And Im almost sure I checked In on a week end day. It wasnt the worst time Ive been at a hotel but it wasnt the best either. I hate rude customer service. Becuz if its not for customers your business dont thrive.

Dirty room

I purchased a room that was not properly cleaned. Noticed socks from a previous guest. The check in person was very rude and disrespectful when I brought this to his attention.

Horrible stay/horribe treatment/ unresoved

Red Lion Incident: November 16th and 17th- 2022 (yes this is still unresolved!) I booked a room in Yakima for 2 nights- my daughters volleyball team qualified and went to state! very exciting. November 16th and 17th (2022) The entire team and parents were all in the same Hotel- the school paid for the team but the parents were responsible for their stay. When I arrived and checked in I was told there was not a room in the building where the girls were staying. I said I was told all parents and team would be in the same building. I didnt want to be that far away from my daughter. So the two ladies behind the counter whispered awhile and then finally said they had a room available in the same building. I gathered my things and went to my room. Room #162- The moment I walked in I could tell it was not good. but i was told it was the only room left. So i was going to try to make the best of it. I started finding garbage, a knife, a fork, other odd garbage, and a huge clump of black hair behind to the left of the toilet. Odd brown stain all around inside of tub. I was in a hurry because all the parents were going out to dinner. So I changed and got ready and headed out. I came back later at about 10pm, and needed ice. I opened the ice bucket and there was garbage in there. The fridge in the room didnt work. The ice machine on my floor was out of service. I had a few things that needed to be refrigerated. I tried to use the phone to call the front desk. The phone didnt work. The plugs in the room didnt work. Thank goodness I brought a portable charger. The alarm clock kept going off all night different times. I could not make it stop. when I turned the bed back I found what looked to be like blood stains on two of the pillows, on another pillow there was another huge odd stain. Again I tried to call the front desk but the phone just didnt work. The next morning we had to be at the Yakima sundome early so we were all in a hurry to head out. I stopped by the front desk to inform them about how awful the room was. It was as if the room was never ever cleaned. The lady said she would tell house keeping. We left the hotel for the day for the tournament. Again I was told it was the only room available and the hotel was booked full. I was not going to leave the hotel and leave my daughter! I was stuck! I came back to the room after a really long day, late again and so tired from the day. Went to bed still very disturbed about the non cleanliness! Nothing had changed. The next morning same thing, we had to get up early and pack up because we would be checking out and not coming back to the hotel after the volleyball games. I was really trying to look past all of what I saw and had to endure. As I was getting all my things together, This is what I considered to be absolutely unacceptable. I had dropped my portable charger behind the night stand I went to pick it up and there was a dried bloody tampon behind the nightstand. There was another mom in the room waiting for me because we were driving together. I started gagging, she was laughing at me because I was gagging. She rushed over the the nightstand and picked it up with some toilet paper and flushed it down the toilet immediately! We were both completely shocked!!! and obviously Grossed out beyond imagination! We headed out to the Yakima Sundome again. After the tournament was over we all headed out to drive back home. On my drive all I could think about was how horrifying my stay was. I was making a mental note of all what i saw. Luckily while I was there I started taking pictures of all the gross things. The first picture was of the huge wad of black hair next to the toilet. I just could not believe it! So I sent it to another mom to show her what I found! It was funny for a second Then as i found stuff I kept sending her the pics! I was just blown away. I had to show someone! It was sooooo unbelievably gross and disturbing! When I got home I tried to find a customer service contact to write an emailthe first email I sent out was Nov. 19th- this email went to corporate. They wrote back ASAP and of course were mortified and said they would call and or email the hotel in Yakima and request a full refund on my behalf. Sadly The Red Lion hotels are individually owned and operated. Otherwise they said they would have initiated the refund at that moment. I never heard back. So I called the hotel and talked to someone at the front desk. She said she would have a manger call me back in an hour. One week went by and nothing! Not a word. So I wrote another email to corporate and asked for further help. They wrote back and said they would try again. After a few more days of hearing nothing, I then called the hotel myself and talked to a Lona in detail everything described above. She said she would pass this along to a manager and again have someone call me. NOT A WORD! I called back again and asked what on earth is going on? She asked if I had pictures. I said as a matter of fact i sure did! I sent her all the pictures and again described in detail everything that happened. I have not heard a thing! I have emailed again and again to Lona she has been my only contact. She said she wants to be my advocate and that she is on my side for sure. She said she was mortified about the condition of my room. She said again she would be in contact with a manager. But i still have not heard anything. She said they were working on a solution. I think i have to this point given them ample tome to make this right. They are ignoring me and will not do a thing about this! I spent $276.43 on a room that was not fit for an animal to stay in! It was a biohazard to say the least! Who knows what I was exposed to in that room! But again I was told over and over there were no other rooms available. And again I was not going to leave my 16 year old daughter by herself! I was stuck! I have asked for a full refund but they refuse to get back in touch with me. I am now requesting from my bank to put a stop on the charge. It's the only thing I can think of to do. The contact person at the hotel for me has been Lona her email is Lwise.332314@***.com her and i have emailed back a forth at least 6xs but with no resolution, and still no manager contact at allI have called 3 times with no response. Each time I have been promised a resolution but nothing My bank went through all the correct channels and I heard back from them- they had dealt with a manager of some sort and he said because I stayed there, there was nothing he could do.??? Even though I had no other choice! I was not going to leave my daughter, or sleep in my car it was below freezing and there were no other rooms available! I was STUCK! I am just not ok with this outcome- I would like a full refund. That is the only possible reasonable option.
