I have not heard one thing about my Recyclebank account. I just want to use my last points. I also have friends that want the same thing

Cannot access my account

I have been a Recyclebank user since 2011. I have used my reward points many times. Now, it says my account doesn't exist. I tried to reenroll and it won't take my zip code! What's that about??? W Cross wynonac@***.com

Deleted my account

Deleted my account & took all the points, which had a dollar value, and will not let me access anything I have earned. Would not answer my request for help.

Lost all points

No notice they were changing rewards program. One day app and website just stopped working. Lost 7,000 points.

Changed there business model with no notice

NO notice that i would no longer be able to use this site. Should have sent a notice that they were changing there procedures Had several thousand points that I can no longer use

Lost all points and login ability without warning

They changed their website to only service certain municipalities last week without any warning to dedicated consumers. I lost all points accumulated over years of time and commitment to their partners. I will not support a company (or sponsors, partners) that treat a consumer in that manner. Shame on you Recyclebank.

Can’t get into my account

I ordered lettuce and milk coupons and never received them. Tried to reorder and keep getting thrown out. They are not recognizing my email and keep blocking me. Have left my phone no. but no one ever returns my call. I am looking for a new company.

What happened to my account and all my points? It doesnt even recognize my email! And no response from them

Don't waste your time

No longer worth the effort. They used to have some decent rewards (life gift cards), but now it's mostly $x off, and you have to pay the rest (which is a lot). AND you have to pay for shipping. The only thing that's free are a few magazines, like "Diabetic Living". So now I have a bunch of points, and nothing to use them for!

SCAM!!!

Was never mentioned that you could call in and redeem your points for gift cards, but I found out now that the program is ending in Philadelphia. Of course they have no gift cards for Philadelphia. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!!

What happened to One Twine?

I had seen a reward for a $50 gift code for 10,000 points on Recyclebank. I can't see it listed anymore. Where is it? I have searched and can't find it now. this was a very useful reward, as I love Mrs. Meyers cleaning products. I hope it is still there. I love the Recyclebank program and love the information it contains. The information is very useful, and I love the quizzes for the points. I learn something and gains points at the same time. Please let me know about the One Twine rewards, as I'm looking forward to saving for my points and getting it. What happened to the One Twine reward card? thanks Susan Scatena vloglady@***.com

Took my points away

We had 6,085 points and we were getting ready to redeem them and we found out they took all our points away because the program supposedly ended with Republic Services here in Virginia. They claimed they sent out mass emails letting us know the program ended. Not true. I saved all of my emails to keep track of my points, no email was sent. I went to two of my friends who were on the system and they received no emails either. Spoke to our trash carrier and they were unaware too of the ending. We are a military family and we were all scammed because my points could easily be put back in my account. Things we were saving up for are now gone. Shame on this company treating customers so poorly. We would also like to see this so called email that was sent out to all of us.

Bait and switch

Spent well over a year earning points only to go to the rewards page-where previously they had actual rewards such as gift cards-to find that they no longer have any rewards that are worth all the time and efffort I spent earning points. If I had known they were removing rewards, I would have stopped using their site. Now they have "rewards" where if you spend a ton of money, you get a few dollars off of their sponsors websites. I'm not spending $50 just to get $5 off. Pointless, useless, misleading, very sneaky and disgusting behavior by this company. My advice is to not sign up with them, don't waste your time. I am very disappointed in them.

De-activated account - no more points

I earn points for recycling through Recyclebank and I attempted to print out my receipts for my rewards, and the link went to their website. I thought I had forgotten my password, because I was unable to log in, but ultimately realized they had de-activated my account and I had no way to redeem my rewards.I had "bought" or cashed out all of my recycling rewards on June 5th but had not yet printed the receipts. I had rewards for Target, BuyBuy Baby, a diabetes magazine, Exploration Place, Museum of World Treasures, Mosley Street Melodrama, Green Mill Restaurant, and Cocoa Dolce. I spoke with a representative "Genesis" today who said there was “nothing” she could do, and that she’d have someone contact me “within 24-48 hours”. Seeing as how the Exploration Place reward was to be used for taking my stepson there with his grandma tomorrow, I told her that was unacceptable and asked for a manager. I was told rather rudely that there were none available because it was Friday. I asked for a corporate number and was told first that she didn't know it, and then second (after I pressed the issue) that she didn't think that one existed. I attempted to find one online and was unable to do so, I was only able to find the same "customer service" number that I had called, where I had been given absolutely no help. I called back and spoke with a "Stephanie" and explained that my points were earned and cashed out PRIOR to the e-mail I received indicating that my service was being cancelled because they were no longer servicing recycling in my area. She was unable to help me, either, and suggested I e-mail customer support which I did, only to get a reply e-mail that I would be contacted within 72 hours - again, not acceptable. I finally contacted someone through Facebook messenger and she called me while I was at work trying to help a client. I asked for her to call me back and was told she didn't think she could because she had a lot of calls to make and she was trying to get done and leave work, too. I forwarded the PDF of the email confirmations I'd gotten for my rewards and got a reply from her: "Hello, So I've managed to pull the rewards that you have requested. Please understand that I get your anger and frustration but we are only following rules and procedures that has been passed down to us. I will send the document to you via the email that you've sent to us through our support email now if you are unable to retrieve them here." She ONLY sent receipts for only Museum of World Treasures, Cocoa Dolce, and Exploration Place, these I planned to use with my stepson, husband and best friend. I replied and asked her to send the rest of the rewards. She finally sent me the receipt for Mosley Street Melodrama but made a point of telling me: "As stated earlier in our conversation, I do understand your frustration, however, we are not allowed to do what I'm doing. Please understand that this is a one time courtesy. I've emailed your other two rewards as well. Have a good night." I am extremely disappointed and upset that this company would refuse to honor the rewards system that they put into place, and then be condescending to the customer, by saying it was a "courtesy". It's not fair that I even had to contact this company about this. The rewards were earned and rightfully mine to begin with - if they want to drop service in our area, that's fine, but give the people what they earned, let them cash out their points, and then close the accounts.
