To tell them, my truck is a lemon

My truck has been in the shop for two weeks now and prior to that two weeks. They cannot figure the problem out. Its electrical issue and I keep telling me they need more time Im pissed and they wont even provide me with a Rent-A-Car.

Problem I have a problem with my transmission

I am having a problem and I am not getting any assistance. I was told by the dealership that I need to sit and wait for the transmission to gear up before I can drive.

Power Steering failure

Have a 2013 Ram 1500 crew cab. Power steering started failing intermittenly. Looked it up and there is a known problem with these electronic gear boxes. Basically you lose power steering without warning. Then its ok a min later. Matched recall perfectly. But they said NO its not covered under recall. They dont care about safety, if they did it would fix it. This is why american car and truck companys are going under. Over priced, and poor quality, no concern for the safety of their customers.

Steele North Star Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Really should work on your sales guys, my experience with what was presented on paper for sale quote on a vehicle was very much a feeling of being screwed over. Vehicle I looked at was listed online for 61,800, including a 5,700 dealer discount. Sales guy comes up with a 4,000 rebate, yet in price on quite the 5,744 discount disappeared and vehicle msrp was lowered to reflect online price with a 4K rebate only. Feels like the 4K rebate should be on top of the 5,744 dealer discount, which would make the truck around 57-58k. I felt like like the whole process I was just being screwed over. I liked the truck, but your sales team failed to deliver completely, even with the sales guy knowing upfront I knew online pricing. Very disappointing experience, lives up to the name Steele from the customer.

Truck transmission went out AGAIN - less than 9k miles

Truck transmission went out AGAIN - first time less than 6k miles - now went out again ( didnt even make it 2 months after repairs ) !!!

Valve train failed right off the lot. Marion Ram dealer has done nothing to help. Truck is in the shop in Georgia and has been for 8 days. Still no parts. Ram customer service has done nothing.

4 attempts have been made to repair the truck. It's been in the shop 6 weeks. Pursuing lemon law through attorney general's office

Marion Ram, where it was purchased told me it wasn't their problem. Actually hung up on me. Ram customer service will do nothing. It's now been in the shop 8 days waiting on parts. No loaner vehicle. Nothing. Truck has 1200 miles on it. Ram is crap. The truck is crap. Customer service is non-existent. Should have bought a GM vehicle. Never again.

Uable to Order Ram Classic 1500 ****

Have been trying to order a new 2023 Ram Classic Regular Cab 8 Foot bed for some time now. My dealer is unable to bring up the 2023 Classic model to do the order. You people are a joke, after switching to Ram over the past 8 years I have had 5 Ram products, never an issue to order one. You can build one online but not able to order one at the dealership. Called one of your toll free assistance lines and was told Ram is no longer taking orders or for that matter are no longer building the Ram Classic. The Classic line has been totally dropped according to the Person on the Ram Customer assistance line. She suggested I start looking in other areas of the country to see if I could find one on a Dealer s Lot. Look's like it's time to switch to FORD. They have no problem ordering a Regular Cab truck. Same story with Chevrolet, no problem ordering a 2023 Regular Cab Truck. It's really a shame if this is a sample of Ram Brand Customer Service.

UNprofessional courtesy

I have purchased dodge trucks for years. For the last six or seven months my truck has been in and out of the shop. Every time I took it back they always said the same thing was wrong every time. Now they have had my vehicle over a week and they are saying the filter on the exhaust is out and its going to cost me $5300. Never mind the fact that I still have warranty and extended warranty left on my truck. I called Dodge last week and they said they would get back with me in two business days. I waited two business days plus the weekend and called them back Monday. They said it would be two more business days. So I waited two more business days and I called them back the third day because again they did not call me. And they proceeded to tell me today that it would be 14 days before a specialist would get back with me.

Extremely over charged for simple service

$834 to service my pickup!!! $256 in labor for a service !!! $400 just in fuel filters GIVE ME A FING BREAK!!! Ill never buy another one !!! I can service my Kenworth twice for what I give for this !!!

I have an issue with a dealership

Leased my truck on 3/21/23. I can not get my dealership to register it. Originally they made a mistake with my zip code on my Original paper work which set off a series of bad experiences and conversations. So I have a truck with an expired temporary plate that I can't drive.

Truck swap

I ordered 2022 Ram Laramie night edition mega cab and when the truck came it was crew cab limited when I told the manager Kevin Allison from champion Chrysler jeep Ram of Decatur Alabama whom he ordered the truck this is not the truck I ordered he told me to get the crew cab limited until he gets what I ordered and since July 2022 I am waiting nothing happened I parked the truck at home never drove it I need my money refunded please let know asap thanks

Poor customer service received from Ram warranty dept as well as the dealership

I am the owner of a 2022 Ram 3500 with less than 30,000 miles, I purchased this vehicle brand new for business purposes. I am the only driver of the vehicle. Fast-forward to the third week in February 2023, I was on the road, when the engine light came on. I instantly began calling Ram for reasoning as to why, but they needed me to take the truck into a repair shop for diagnostics. After a week of calling around for openings and never getting a drop off date sooner than 30 days out. On the seventh day of March 2023, I ended up taking the vehicle and dropping it off at the dealership that I had purchased it from without even making an appointment. Now here it is the fifth day of April and nothing! I have been going back and forth with the warranty department and the dealership. Both parties have been equally neglectful with their willingness to help in the matter. There's absolutely no communication coming from either entity. Any communications are from me calling, emailing and even taking random trips up to the dealership. Even after I manage to get in touch with someone, I am given the run around as to what is wrong with my truck. I am yet to even speak with the rep that was assigned by the warranty department. Napleton Chrysler/ jeep/ dodge/ram says they are not authorized to make any moves towards repair until its okayed by the warranty rep. I even asked for a loaner and was told that there were none available, but I could go get a rental car and Ram would reimburse me for the cost up to $40 per day (darn near impossible). These actions have cost me a lot of time and money.

Horrible customer service and support. Another major manufacturer attempting to use Covid as an excuse for poor supply chain management.

2020 RAM 1500 beautiful truck rides like a dream except for the fact the transmission failed with 48K miles and though it is covered by warranty they cannot tell me when they will be able to get one. Ive been waiting since 2/24/23 and unless I call for update I dont receive any update. Now they are saying it may be the first week of April. Totally unacceptable because I know they are building new vehicles so how can they not have the parts for service issues.

Customer service and warranty

I was driving through Nevada when all the sudden my throttlebody check engine light came on in the vehicle shut down I made contact with ram roadside assistance and they stated that the ram dealership in Ely Nevada was the closest dealership and they were attempting to get me a tow I tried contacting the dealership and the phone would ring and disconnect on the website it stated that the dealership was closed I called ram roadside assistance back and told him the dealership was closed and the vehicle would need to go to Las Vegas Nevada the first operator took that information I then waited for a return phone call which I never got after approximately 30 minutes I called ram roadside back and they stated no tow trucks were available and they would attempt again in two hours I explained to the second operator that the tow location was still showing Ely Nevada and that it would need to go to Las Vegas due to the dealership in Ely being closed her response was if you want it Towed to Las Vegas that is not the closest dealership and youll have to pay $1900 out of your pocket. I wound up having to call AAA and having the vehicle towed myself into Las Vegas to be fixed. This is on a 2021 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel With 25,000 miles on it since Ive had a vehicle it has been in the shop for numerous other things as well

Absolute poor customer service

PLEASE SHARE THIS: I dont want this to happen to anyone else. At Jim Burke Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram in Birmingham Alabama (check thier reviews) I took 2 of my 11 trucks to Jim Burke Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram back in February they had been giving me the run around about my trucks every since then. I Called them in April askin wasup with my trucks getting fixed because THEY DO NOT DO ANY FOLLOW UP OR UPDATE CALLS ABOUT YOUR VEHICLE!! They gave me some excuse about they havent got to it yet!!! So I bought that lie and waited. Called again in June still nothing!!! So I called and asked a friend to give me the name of who is over the entire servicing department at Jim Burke Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram and they gave me a name of Ronald Toelken! So I went into the dealership in July and asked for the guy they showed me his office. I walked square dead up in his office and to have a great business man to business man conversation with him about my fleet vehicles. I explained to him that my team rely on their vehicles to install tvs and sound all over the south. And having 2 vehicles sit in his shop for 5-6 month while they try to figure out how to fix them is unacceptable!!! I have truck notes and insurances that must consistently be paid on these trucks!!! He said he understood and had his service men get right on it and fixed one of them got it back to me and we put that one back in service. But the other one he said he had to find a part. So I bought that excuse and left again to wait. I went back in August because no calls from them or anything about my truck. The service guy claimed the part aint came yet. Now im pissed but i hold it in and leave. Here it is September I jus left the Dr in a sling and I decided to stop back by about my truck. This dude says we got the part last week and we should be able to get you your truck sometime this month! Im like WHAT??? !!! I want my truck fixed quickly like you did the first one! You mean to tell me it aint on your high priority list to fix my truck first? So you got other vehicles ahead of mines??? Thats right Mr Parker take it or leave it ! Now that level of unprofessionalism pissed me the *** off!! So this guy tells me to leave the premises! I told him i will when i get my vehicle!!! He went and called the cops on me to have me tresspassed off the property because I told him they had bad reviews for the exact same issues!!! Now i had to have my truck towed to a new shop for the repairs!! Whats crazy is these are 2017 Ram Promaster City trucks and both trucks air conditioners went out at the exact same time!! Thats what was wrong with em!!! Im done with Dodge and Im done with Jim Burke!! I bought 3 brand new trucks from them! They have lost me and my business for life!!! I called my homie Marcus King who owns King Boys Towing and told em i need him to come get my truck and explained to him what happened. Marcus said dont sweat it Lando i have a mechanic who can fix it right away im sending one of my trucks to you now! Their reviews says it all as to why im goin through this!! I had a buddy of mines tell me not to go there because they keep and hide your vehicle. He said all i gotta do is read the reviews!! And my *** took em to em anyway im mad at my self!! I will Definitely be filing a lawsuit asap!
