He took my deposit and never came back
This guy took my deposit to do work for me and never came back. He kept giving me the runaround like it was a game to him. I did take Jamel Jones to small claims court and he just played games and kept postponing and appealing. I now have a court judgment that he needs to pay me back plus interest but he still won't. Yet he posted on facebook all the time that he was in Vegas and on vacation all over the place. The court really doesn't do anything to help. I don't know why he thinks he has the right to just take money from people. He has done this to so many people, This guy cannot get away with this! He is a scammer, liar and thief. Something has to be done and I'm not sure what else to do, I don't want this to happen to anyone else.

Didn't finish job
I filed a BBB complaint, but I need to get the word out to other potential victims. I wish I looked him up rather than trust him. He took around $14000, no receipts, only ~30% done and really has done no actual work in two weeks. We are going on 32 days since signing the second contract (funny how first one was deleted off server and second was says deleted 12/28/2020) DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY MONEY UPFRONT TIL THE JOB IS DONE. If anyone else runs into him and has same problem, PLEASE leave comment on here

Hi there. I also made the same mistake. Mr Jamel Jones of Quality Painting did the same to me. I hired him in April of 2015. He claimed he needed $3,000 for my granite countertop and a deposit for his work. That day he took the fronts off my cabinets and drawers. I never saw my cabinets again after repeated requests. I gave him $400 for a washer and dryer he said he would sell me. In addition, I gave him over $4,000 for deposit monies and he only painted one room, my kitchen. I called, texted and inboxed him. He claimed that he came to the house and it was all lies because I was here when he said his crew came. He never came back again. Regardless, I had to hire another company and put in new cabinets when I was going to refinish the ones that he took the fronts off of. This man and his company was referred to me by a mutual friend. I have filed a BBB complaint against him and if he doesn't return my money or property, I will file suit against him in small claims court. He is a snake who lies and cheated me out of a lot of money. I hope the word gets out about him to everyone. I'm sorry this happened to you and me. Don't do business with him. Jamal Jones owner of Quality Painting and Remodelling is chater- he took our $2500 and never started work
We contacted Jamel Jones looking in Craigslist and we made stupidest mistake by trusting him and gave him $2500 in advance for work ( some tile work and granite work in kitchen and painting) in house. He never showed up and never started work. Even signing contract doesn't matter- he never started work and doesn't response to our phone. He is big liar and cheater. Don't get your self trap with guy, we were in rush and didn't check his reviews and references. He is big CHEATER- Pl. stay away from him. He is using several phones and wrong address.

Unprofessional Painters !
They were hired to prime and paint the interior of our garage. Priming 1 day, painting on the 2nd. They showed up 4 hours late and did not prime. They used paint / primer in one and did not put 2 coats on the walls or ceiling. I called to let them know they needed to come back to make corrections and they agreed HOWEVER THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. They will not answer the phone or return calls, they don't answer emails. They do not arrive in a work truck either. They come in a new rental car. They will take your money, do a *** job and you will never see them again.
