Intentional Damage by Mechanic and Supervisor

I took my vehicle in because the AC needed to be recharged. The vehicle was running fine otherwise. Two mechanics came out to look at my vehicle for about 15 minutes. Then they called me out to show me an entirely different repair that they thought I would need to know. Just wasting time and obviously plotting on my situation. Then they took my vehicle into the garage for the inspection of my AC and the next thing you know they walk in with a broken fan belt, a brand new fan belt and said oh my God something locked up but they didnt know what locked up. It turns out nothing locked up. They just broke my belt on purpose and tried to charge me $2500 to replace my compressor. They wanted to keep my car obviously so I wouldnt be able to figure out that that was *** The mechanic the lead mechanic came and said all dramatically youre not driving this car anywhere and Im not gonna let you, Im not gonna be liable for it. They couldnt give me any straight answers. They didnt know what was locked up well theres only two things hooked up to that fan belt. They couldnt tell me why it wouldnt be drivable. They didnt want to put authentic dealer parts in my car and they didnt want me to take it home so they can keep it in there and probably make it even worse. Find more things to break charge me more and more money so I took my brand new broken belt and my car home and it ran just fine. Just needs a recharge thats about it except for now I have to buy another new belt. The compressor is not broken and they obviously set me up. They told me I couldnt have my car back till Tuesday and Im pretty sure that will cost me well over 2500 for the other things that they could break.

Purrfect Auto Service - Oil Change Review
Do not trust Purrfect Auto Eastern and St Rose Henderson NV. They do the work requested then we find out things are worse than befire. Example: Oil change was incomplete! Engine Light came on a couple weeks later,I checked oil and very very low...to the point my engine could have burned up! Took back to them and the manager said we could have a leak but ended up having to put in a couple quarts of oil! I have been constantly checking and there is NO leak! They just didnt put enough oil in. Theres more but this is the worst! STAY AWAY!

I went in to get my smog done on my 1996 Ford Explorer and Hammer took care of it. I was so happy that he was there to help, I have been going there for about 10 years now and everyone there is super nice and really helpful. I highly recommend them!

Purrfect Auto Service Smog Testing Review from Temple, Texas
Went to Purrfect Auto Service, 45 Rio Rancho Road #5a, Pomona, CA 91766 to have a smog check done on my car. Gave a coupon and was given a quote that seemed higher than expected. Asked employee to break it down so I knew what I was paying for and did not want to give a clear answer. Tried to get it clarified and employee got rude and said to pay or go somewhere else. I asked what he said since I could not believe what he told me, and he threw my DMV paper at me and said to go somewhere else. VERY Rude. After looking at online reviews, I see I am not the only one to experience this rude company.

Uneducated crooked mechanics
Purrfect auto 1770 Charleston I was quoted $300 to replace my power steering pump, after having it replaced 3 times the pump still made noise, my radio was broken ,my car leaked and the reservoir was broken and glued back together.After speaking with the manager he never agreed to fix what was originally broken and that he would speak to his mechanics about the glued reservoir. This place is horrible they collect your money and have no clue on what they are doing.I had to go and spend another $260 to get my car fixed. I felt as a woman i was taken advantage of because they thought i did not know how my car was suppose to sound and run. Signed disappointed

Rip Off Report Perfect Auto
I called Purrfect Auto, located at 5735 South Durango, in Las Vegas NV,to find out how much it would cost to install an AC compressor kit which includes dryer, orings, and compressor and had it filled with freon along with my serphantine belt to be put on(i bought all my own parts). I was quoted $150. This sounded fair, so I agreed to come in Saturday. I dropped my car off Saturday. After it got done, I was told it was going to be $207.00 and my ac wasn't working, and they needed an extra $150 dollars to diagnose it. They also told me I need a new shredder valve because mine was leaking, and this would be an extra $90 plus they'd charge me to refill the system on top of that. I opted not to do that, since I had given them $207 and my AC still isn't working. I got home, looked in my trunk, and saw my new serphantine belt, along with my AC accumulator dryer and orings, part of my kit, were not installed. I called the shop and the man on the phone was very rude and unprofessional. I explained my situation, what I was quoted vs what actually was done to my car. He then when back on what was agreed and told me the mechanic wasn't going to open up my glovebox to install my kit, for the amount I paid. I was upset because I was told my kit would be installed for the $150, and not only did my compressor not work, my kit was never installed, only the compressor was, and it cost me $207. I told him next time to be more clear with the customer, if they are told they are getting a service, they expect that promise to be fufilled. He then got disrespectful. Said "There wont be a next time, we wont be doing further business with you, and we covered our *** legally by the invoice i gave you" At that point I told him that because my whole kit was not installed, if it burns up my new compressor, theyd be liable, he said "I don't give a *** if it burns up. like i said, we covered our *** with our invoice" and he hung up on me. What I want is either a refund, since I dropped $207 and basically got ripped off, or I want the rest of my kit to be installed along with my AC compressor to work(which I paid for, to be fixed) I do not trust that front desk employee, who refused to give me his name and talked fowl and disrespectfully to me.

I brought in a vehicle that they had worked on because of a noise I heard when driving my car. Since they did replace the front struts on my vehicle at a cost of $787, I thought maybe there might be another problem they did not catch. I brought the vehicle back and the individual drove the car around and informed me that I needed front wheel bearings replaced. The initial charge was $560 but was told he would do it for $490. I hesitated about doing it and wanted to get a second opinion. Sure enough, I took it to another mechanic and he fixed the noise (coming from the back tire) for $10. My wife went to this place to give them another chance for the $22.95 oil change with the tire rotation included. Well surprise surprise, they are a just another auto service just wanting to rip you off. My wife came in wanting the oil change and then was told the HHR needed a special oil filter. So they charged my wife an extra $10 for the filter. I had never heard this from any other place that I had my oil changed. If you need to have your car serviced, I would advise you to stay away from this place. These are the same auto service individuals that give places a bad name.

During the 4th of July week end, I went to vist my Family in Las Vegas, I currently Live in El Paso, Tx During My trip I realized my car needed an oil change. I stopped off at Purrfect auto they had a special for $10.00 extra to top off the fluids on the car. I paid for it. I drove the car 1/2 block stopped and checked to see if they had topped off the fluids which they did not do so I went back and talk to murice to complain to him about service and he answered very very rudely. he said the mechanic who did the job was new on the job. he was answering back to me. he turned around and walked away. which left me very, very upset. if they did this to me who knows how many others they have done it to!

PURRFECT AUTO FONTANA CA, didnt honor coupon from penny saver ad
I found coupon from penny saver issue date Oct 2,2013. Coupon statete SMOG CHECK $29.99 For cars 96& newer Plus $8.25 for state certificate Regular Price $49.99 plus certificate Extra fee for vehicles 95 &older Most cars truck & SUV extra I took coupon for smog check. According to the coupon they should accept the coupon. But they didnt. They said this coupon is valid only for HONDA,TOYOTA and HYNDI and not for FORD mustand. Coupon didnt say anything about that. It is a fault advertisement. I'm sick and tired of this knid of rib off. I'm looking for lawyer to sue them.

Great place to deal with.
August 2, 2013. Went to Purrfect Auto #263 at 7501 W. Washington Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89128. A pleasure to deal with Tomas the manager and his mechanic. They correctly diagnosed my problems(a leaking power steering high pressure hose)and they also replaced my radiator hoses and did a coolant flush for a VERY good price. They even repaired my gas gauge at no charge. I couldn't be happier with their service. They really know their business. Will be having all my work done there from now and will recommend them to my friends. Will be bring my wife's car in for service next week.

Placentia imPURRfect Auto Service
I found an ad for a smog check and went to see them. After the smog check was complete, the mechanic called me over and told me that my car needed a lot of work. I told him I was busy and that he'd have to just give me a print-out of the recommendations. He tried to offer me a "killer deal" after I repeatedly refused any more service. The bill would have come to over $1100. When I took it to my trustworthy mechanic with those recommmendations, he told me my car was fine. By the way, he checked my car for free!

Avoid!! "purrfect autoservice" in Pomona,ca
Took my car to have it smogged which I have own since 1995 has always been Honda dealer serviced with original Honda parts no after markets part. the smog result came in and emissions were great, evap was great and visual inspection they claim it did not pass because of my timing apparently they want 16 degrees on the timing and my car had 20 degrees. I am an amateur mechanic my self and with my experience 4 degrees does not affect emissions. ask your self what is smog test really for? is for emissions for our atmosphere to be more healthy? or to see how your car looks? not only that, but these people also wanted to charge $50 because it did not pass there visual. I do not know if this is the technique they use to scam innocent people and blood suck them with their money. this is ridiculous. the attitude of SHANON was very ignorant, rude, and unprofessional. service here is HORRIBLE. Avoid "purrfect auto service". they are in the corner of Rio rancho road and park avenue in Pomona, Ca 91766. they should change there shop name to "HORRIBLE AUTO SERVICE"

i took my car to get it fixed. i thought its the water pump but when they checked they said its my power steering pump so they told me that they can eliminate the pump. which they did and they said it will be just fine. so i paid labor and when i got the car now it was over heating my car problem got worst and when i call the manger he was not proffesional and was blaming it on me. i just want it fixed no matter how much it will cost me. worst service and i will be taking actions with these because it has taken my time 3x.i was back and forth iwith them and still same problem they said they don't know whats wrong. but thats why their mechanic to diagnose an issue.

HORRIBLE! DO NOT COME HERE
Horrible! DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE! UNDERCOVER MECHANIC'S VEHICLE WAS TURNED AWAY DUE TO LAZINESS AND BAD SERVICE! 1. Online coupon says $29.99 just for a smog, + certification is $8.99. Ended up being $48.99, and it says labor? 2. Gentleman said he did not want to smog my car because my "brakes" were messed up. FYI, this is at 5:15 p.m. Their closing time is 5:30. 3. Went to another smog place, they rolled my car up to their dyno and it passed without any hassle. I asked them if my brakes were messed up, he said it was perfectly fine. I told him about previous smog shop, he said, "Oh yeah, it is because they service vehicles also." The lady knew what they were doing at purrfect auto. 4. I called purrfect auto to ask the name of the gentleman and asked for a manager, they asked why and replied, "I did not want to do it because of the brakes." the tester became defensive and said, "I do not know why you calling to complain for!" in a harsh voice, and as I tried to reply he hung up on me. FYI: The owner of the vehicle was my father's. He has been a mechanic for Toyota for 25+ years.

Poor quality work, worse customer service
They replaced my thermostat for way more money than my normal mechanic (unfortunately it quit working away from home). When I got home, still having trouble with the vehicle I took it to my mechanic who informed me they put a broken thermostat in. I've called and called to see if they will do anything for me and they just flat out refuse to deal with their mistake. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE, unless it was someone I really hated. They are overpriced and they didn't do good work. I would have been okay with it if they had at least apologized when I called and tried to make it up to me somehow.

My first incident with them came n for a check engine light..they told me i had bad vaule i replaced 2 of them and it coast me over 300$..the check engine light came back on the next day they said i had a bad catalytic converter which was gonna coast 800 n parts not including labor work...went back for a leak they told me that i had a bad hose thats the cause of the leak i replaced the hose and they also mention that my axiles on the start rubbn metal to metal which is bad...all together for that ran me 490..brung my car home and my leaj was worse then befor took it back the next and ask y it was leakin more ..they told me i had a bad thermastat and a cracked n the tank whick was gonna run me over 200$ to fix it..with thin 2 days i spent over 700$ there and with n 1month i spent 1100$ because they make u spend all ur money and cant figure out wats the problme ..they create more problmes to ur car and dont now the tru problem...there favor excuse is well it was ok yesterday today its not...i will never go back there i wish i never done business with them i wouldnt recommande this shop to not even a enemy....so if u wanna get taken advantage of come here stay far away from purrfect auto on jones & windmill in the windmill plaza lasvegas nv
