omg they charged me over 3000.00 for terrible service and a total rip of of services. Overcharged for work they did not even do and charged me way over in time/hours. I time charged 3 hours when there for 2 minutes. I would not pay bill and they sent me to their attorney which was just terrible as well - anne frayne - bad mannered and inexperienced - I paid all bill to wash them out of my life - total rip off! Terrible stay away!!! they hire kids (18 year old for this work) terrible

After Hurricane Laura our Insurance Company had PUROCLEAN contact us for water mitigation. They came right away , told us all the right feel good things and said within 2 weeks that they would start. Here I am at the end of November for a Hurricane in AUGUST and they never sourced the storage they promised, Trash containers they promised or removed one foot of water damaged drywall in our house, They did was our tiny boat house which was supposed to take 2-3 days and they stretched it out for 30 days !!! They tore out way more than they first agreed to, they left their equipment in much longer than needed ( ALL FOR $$$) The worst part, they will not even provide a report so that I can start my reconstruction ! This outfit was out of Brunswick, Ohio and Nick Schillig along with the owner MIKE are the con men that sold me on their services. By the way Puroclean HQ in Florida did nothing after two complaints, so stay away from this company altogether. I first started to get nervous when I heard their name being used negatively at a barber shop in Lake Charles, and then they mentioned Nick by name. Hopefully enough people will file lawsuits and even criminal suits against these people and keep them in Cleveland where they belong!

Set an appointment, showed up early, threatened to not come back cause they have work to do, and implied I lied about the behavior they displayed toward my distress over the situation. I have the conversation on ring. Idiots trying to lie their way out of a situation they created, don't even imply I am a liar. Just do what you said you would, when you said you would, not much to expect is it?

More than expected.
CPVC, water line burst. Showed up in two hours, setup what was called, stabilization. After hours of 5:00 pm, extremely friendly, setup equipment to stabilize the moisture in the kitchen area. Next day of authorization to do the work; containment of kitchen to contain heat to maximize drying process. Was estimated four days, dried and cleaned up in three, daily checkups, including weekends. Extremely happy.

OVERCHARGED FOR STUFF NOT EVEN DONE
THEY CAME TO REPAINT TWO WATER SPOTS ON MY CEILING FROM WATER DAMAGE AND USED SPRAY PAINT ON THE SPOTS AND PAINTED THE REST. THE INVOICE CHARGED ME FOR 14.5 HOURS OF LABOR WHEN THEY WERE HERE FOR TWO HOURS AND HAD OTHER CHARGES FOR AN ELECTRICIAN WHICH WASN'T EVEN NEEDED. THE CHARGE WAS 1500$ FOR 2 HOURS OF WORK AND THE PAINT AS GLOBBED UP AND LOOKED LIKE *** ON ONE SPOT. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE AGAIN

Unprofessional, dishonest and disrespectful
I’m a victim of a simple water heater explosion that destroyed my entire home- Puroclean out of Caseyville il came in like bandits tearing things up and moving so much out of the way and offsite. I’m told by Chad Scraff and Louis not to worry we are bonded and will take great care of you. They sure did after 5 months of losing my flexsteel living room set, primitive decor, pie safes, collectibles, baskets and most of all just tossing full dressers and belongings into a pod and even left in my garage. They were dishonest about billing my insurance company sq. Ft for flooring and cut cords off my appliances, electronics etc. I was so disgusted as I saw how damaged my stuff in the pod looked- dented and scratched from being stacked up on top of each other- drawers broken from falling out. The guys unpacking all new employees from original due to firing of Chad and Louis for reasons not disclosed. The worker unpacking the pod said this is one of the most *** poor packaging I’ve seen. Nothing is protected and his boss Scott Kaufman was on the phone with him screaming at him and it wasn’t even the poor guys fault if the condition he walked into. Chad was always taking pictures and red flagged never worry we are bonded etc. well those pictures never arrived to the company as Scott claims but thank God I took what I could before and after as well as the construction company I ended up with that made this house come together after 5 months of *** I have so much damage and loss to items not to mention items never returned. Even my insurance adjuster is at his end with promised phone calls back that never happen after he has tried for almost 3 weeks. I’m beside myself and can’t believe they run a company so unprofessionally and rude. They will be accountable no matter what pictures do not lie nor when the manager Scott Kaufman care to my home to walk through and admitted to what has happened and with a fix of a marker or so he will speak to the owner and get back to me. He never has either Scott or Paul and my adjuster finally sees what a joke and scam this company is. They all joked about Esurance my company and how they will switch because without an adjuster to come out you can do anything- please beware and document everything with pictures and videos. I’m so thankful the other company has proof too. I was told by my adjuster they have to carry liability insurance and have to be accountable and if they refuse to take his calls or return his calls I’m not sure what option is next. I just spoke to headquarters and she seemed appalled as well.

I had a water leak due to *** in my garage roof in Beulah, CO in May 2015, at which time I cleaned up the water leak and put on a new roof. I had many pieces of personal property stored in the garage which were valuable antiques, and more. One year later in May 2016, I hired Puro Clean to strictly come in and inventory and take a photograph of each item of my personal property before discarding it in a 40 ft. roll off so I could file my personal property claim with State Farm. PuroClean's employees only came to the house 4 times and worked a total of 60 man hours, filling a 40 ft. roll off with my personal property. I witnessed them taking photos and writing the items of each item in a book before throwing them in the dumpster. When the job was over, I repeatedly asked for my complete and accurate inventory so I could file my claim. IN the meantime PuroClean sent a bill to State Farm claiming they did almost $23,000 worth of "water remediation and mold clean up" to the interior of my garage, which never happened. I continued begging for my inventory and was sent a 3 page summary that listed about 15 items on it, nothing near what was thrown away. I then was told by Matt Ryals the manager, that he fired the man who took the photos, their employee Travis Brooks and who was doing the inventory for STEALING. I told him I caught Travis trying to steal from me too, and he did not care. He told me that Travis had "lost" the additional photos. I told him I would not pay them for their work until they provided me with the evidence they promised of the personal property they threw away. A few days later, Matt Ryals arrived at my door and his first words were "I'm sorry we did a bad job regarding your insurance claim, but you owe us $22,800, and then threatened me that if I did not pay them the $22,800.00 that they would FORECLOSE ON MY HOUSE, and he stated that he "would love to own my house". He left a Mechanics Lien on my porch for that amount, and filed a lien on my property. I am still waiting for the inventory, which I have not received. Now PuroClean has hired a law firm and they are taking me to court, asking the judge to FORECLOSE ON MY HOUSE. I have asked for State Farm's assistance, but have been told there is nothing they can do that the dispute was between me and PuroClean. The items they billed for they never did, which included double and triple billing for the same amount of work, claiming they did mold remediation in my garage, claiming they did a huge water clean up and "scrubbing" of the interior of my garage, charging over $1,000 for plastic to "cover" items which they did not do (they didn't need to be covered, they were thrown in the dumpster or stored in a storage unit). They then added 20% additional profit and 20% additional overhead. They overcharged for the dumpster that was delivered by $400, and they overcharged for the storage units that were delivered as well. I am a senior citizen, and it is apparent that they have tried to blackmail me and did not deliver the services we contracted for them to do, which was provide me with an accurate inventory and photograph of each item of the personal property that was ruined in my water claim. Beware of this company!
