I e been robbed by Progressive

On August 24 of this year in Michigan we had a horrific windstorm that brought down many trees. It also brought down wires and did damage to homes and vehicles but why is not driving in the early morning hours trying to go help a friend a tree came down in front of me and I ran into it on the road. No, because no progressive agent or employee was out there to witness the accident. In their opinion, it did not occur the way I said it occurred. Therefore, progressive will not pay my claim even though my car sits damaged with a tree branch, stuck through the grill and end of the engine compartment. I was the only one in the car, I was the only one that witnessed what took place, but I dont know what Im talking about because the progressive insurance agents all know the facts of something they never witnessed. What a bunch of thieves. There is no integrity and progressive insurance at all. They are in it for the money, and not for customer service. They are belligerent and arrogant.

Poor customer service and dishonest practices

Denied a glass claim on my 2022 Mustang. Peace out Progressive!!! Crooked bunch of clowns. Canceling 2 cars, 2 motorcycles and 2 snowmobiles. Hope they burn in ***

Dissatisfaction

When I got progressive auto insurance, the rate was $578 for six months and I also had Snapshot. The rate has now gone up to $800 even though I did not discontinue snap shot and I still live in the same area. The reason given is that the area determines the rate hike. If I cannot continue to receive the same rate, I will be going to another company.

All good so far. Finally I found out Homesite is our homeowners insurance? that I didnt know. I filed a claim with progressive Friday, no call, I called Saturday and got transferred to the prompts when I was supposed to go to a different dept. I somehow found out I sent claim to progressive not homesite and thats why no one called. They could have called and let me know about Homesite. . It was frustrating until Monday I spoke to homesite and some vendors. Alls well but was frustrating. Sad my deductible is so high. We have to pay out of pocket for repairs. I guess you guys are only good for catastrophic events.

Hit by thier insured

I was on the interstate and I was impacted by one of progressives. In a sure day they were ended me going. 55 miles an hour, knock me off to interstate into the medium. And progressive wants to play some kind of stupid game. As far as a settlement went off for me. $1500 when they, this accident has altered. My life in such bad way and all they do is switch me from 1 person to another. All they do is sit around and have meetings round table talks about how they cannot pay you. Any money was so disgusting about them as that I used to be insured by progressive. Something needs to be done about these insurance companies that take your money. And they don't wanna pay out when it's time to pay out. I don't know who governs them. Besides the insurance commission where you could follow a complaint. But these lawmakers need to get off their *** and stop playing war games and help the people stop being concerned with other countries and help the United. And it states, my dad fought from 4 of this country, a purple heart recipient in the Korean war, and all thaterans are treated poorly when they come back from a war. It's ridiculous and I want them to be responsible because the girl hit me, she admitted it to me and the police and progressive just keeps dragging this thing out. I'm so sick of them. I don't know what to do with myself. Countries war problems and be concerned about the United States, citizens of America. And the doctors are just as bad because they want to build my regular insurance. And they want to get paid, but they didn't want to circumvent you from getting paid from a car accident. They write nasty reports if you don't conform to their excessive overbilling excessives.

Due to advice by their agent I was charged extra charges

I called to advise I was going with another lower insurance company and didn't want them to take an additional payment out of myvaccount. The agent told me to go ahead and stop auto pay with them Ghent call back when I had to other insurance set up and cancel theirs then. She failed to advise me their would be an additional charge so I stopped the auto pay with her and called back today to cancel the policy. I was told today that i would be charged an additional amount of $13.43 charged. I'm on social security and live on a tight budget so while this may not be a lot to most it is to elderly.i feel im being penalized because I got poor information from them that I followed. I think this is a rip off and large insurance companies do this gouging because of their greed and they know they can get by with it. Imagine if they do this to everyone who wants to cancel how much they must be making off this.

Cancelled policy and they trying to charge me over $300 with no explanation

Was with Progressive 20 years. Rates went up tremendously, told me I was getting the best possible rate, there were no tickets or accidents to cause the increase. I called to cancel, all premiums were on automatic draft so did not owe any additional fees, policy was current. I cancelled before the next payment was due. Now getting a bill and threats with collection agency a month later saying I owe over $300 with no explanation.

Low ball payment on insurance settlement.

My car was hit and the driver drove off. My insurance co., Progressive totaled the car and offered me $7500 to replace it. The car was a 2006 Chrysler 300c. It wasn't perfect, but it was a solid 9 of 10. It had one tiny ding the size of a pea. The paint was in excellent shape, the motor was strong(5.7 Hemi) the transmission was very good. The car had no leaks of any kind. The interior was very good, slight wear on the drivers seat, the rest looked new. It had new struts, custom cobalt blue interior and trunk lights. It had remote start, it had every option available that year except for 3 options. The car ran and drove like a new car. I had been offered $9500 for the car about a month ago and turned it down. I have looked online and in person and there isn't a car available that is in the same class as mine. I could buy a high mileage beat up piece of junk that would break down constantly. Because there are no other cars to compare it to they keep saying show us a car that's alike and we will discuss a different amount. So they are trying to screw me with the fact that my car was a very nice car and there's nothing to compare. I looked up their customer service rating, and it is terrible DO NOT USE PROGRESSIVE AS YOUR insurance co. You will regret it.

I didn't authorize progressive to take money in my account at the end of the first contract but he did it that's why I ask him to give back my money because I already got an other cheap insurance.

Confused and pissed off

I want noncommercial insurance for a FL60 Freightliner that I bought in January to haul personal possessions and an antique car from my parents estate in Austin, TX. My truck is not for hire and when I bought it was told that noncommercial insurance for it was available through Progressive. I have gotten so many different responses to the question of whether or not noncommercial insurance is offered for this truck that I just cant let this go. One agent sells me very expensive commercial insurance and tells me that noncommercial insurance is no longer an option with Progressive. I paid a few month then called to cancel it. The next agent asks why I'm cancelling my insurance and I explain that it is a noncommercial truck and commercial insurance is too expensive, She says that oh yes there is noncommercial insurance available from Progressive and that being the case, in fact, Progressive actually owes me money based on what I had already paid as a noncommercial truck. Then I get a correction in the mail from Progressive that still indicates commercial insurance coverage is on the Freightliner, but it is a lot less expensive this time around So Im frustrated here and wish I had never even bought the truck all because of the roller coaster ride that is obtaining insurance for it.

Notice to others beware

II had a minor accident in May of 2020 involving a woman who had 6 prior accidents. I'm a former firefighter/EMT and asked the woman at least 3 times if she was ok and wanted medical .I could tell she was under the influence of something by the way she was bouncing around . The mesa PD would not respond because of no injuries & covid-19? The woman had no license, registration, insurance and was driving a junker. When I hit the back of her it damaged the cooler but, I was still able to drive the car. My G37S was an 2008 that I just put 6,000 in upgrades into and the accident happened in 2020. The he damages were 2,000-3,000 so they totaled it when I wanted to keep it? They paid off my loan and I got 500 which was BS its my car and I should have been able to keep it because I was driving it after the accident. Then I get a call a month and a half later talking about this woman claims she hurt her neck? I don't know how she hurt her neck but, she jumped out of the car and was pacing like a chicken talking to someone on the phone. I told them don't pay her a penny she has 6 other cases like this on the court records. I will go to court and let a judge decide. However they paid her something I don't even know how much. They also have 13 complaints about OB towing both USAA & Progressive use the same company for roadside. DON'T ALLOW THEM TO TOW YOUR CAR ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A VETERAN LIKE MYSELF!!! That company picked up my car at my jobsite and never delivered it to Camelback ford like they were supposed. After arguing with Phoenix PD and the insurance company PD had me sign an affidavit. Well what do you know 6 days after I signed the affidavit my car was found abandoned in a apartment complex with roughly 10,000 in damage. The insurance would not pay for any damages because no police report? My car was missing for over a month PD refused to do a report ( their job)? I wanted the one man towing company from Afghanistan prosecuted and they refused. I have proof he picked up my car which proudly displays my veteran plate and never delivered it to Camelback Ford which is where I said to take it! That sure fits the definition of theft of means but, the woke *** police said not going to arrest or charge him. However after all that they raised my rates for a claim they didn't pay out on? Please go to Bizapedia and look up OB towing he's been in business roughly a year lives in Glendale with no tow yard and you will find roughly 12 other complaints similar to mine and they are all USAA customers? I contacted USAA about this and they did nothing? God bless you and America 12B Sapper for life!!! Hooah

Bad service, no help & I even paid my premiums

On Thurs, May 25th 2023 the front driver side tire on my car blew in my vehicle. I had just gotten back into town from chemo & I am also disabled from a bad vehicle accident. I tried changing my tire & couldn't. So I went into the Burger King where my car was to call progressive, I called, waited for 45 min. On the phone. No one ever picked up & didn't have my phone to use the app. I was very sick, & very tired, so I called a friend to drive 30 miles to pick me up and bring me home. On that Friday, I spent another 5 hours on hold with progressive insurance waiting for anyone to pick up the phone & help me. Finally, they did & I set up to meet Silver back towing of Silver City, nm on Saturday morning. So I was at my car early. The man from the towing was 1 hour late. When the towing got to my car, he started talking down to me and being a jerk to me. I told him that he was not going to talk to me like that & i was the one paying for him to be there to help me. He got rude, didn't help me, he just left me there. I must have made 75 calls trying to get anyone @ progressive to help me file a complaint, which happened only after the 60th call. I kept track of the times on each csll. Still as of June 16th 2023 nothing has been done to fix my car even though i am current and have paid my premiums. Is this 2023's new version of business ethics & customer service? Taking people's money, then, when that customer is undergoing chemo, are disanled, & a seniorI the company abandons you. Stranding you in a burger king parking lot 20 miled ftom my home. I feel, If i am taking money from my budget, which comes from Social Security (anyone on social security, will tell you that you do not get much) so i feel that if you pay for a service & do not get that service then that company that i am paying is obligated to make it right!!! No help from anyone from progresive insurence, Silver back towing, or the manager over roadside assistance. Dave Trsbucco who is also a rude. *** self centerd, egotistical jerk, or Agero road side assistance. Customer service is nothing but hurry and turn over. There is a lot more to all this than i have written. Which led me to file a case with The Department of Justice & The Attorney General of The United States Government. Dissbility discrimination, age discrimination, & others. Still progresive, Dave Trabucco, Silver back towing, & agero have taken NO responsability for *** me over like they did. When did people start not giving a *** about the customers or other human beings that make their payrolls, pays their bills & actually makes the busines sucsesful or not. Companies need to remember this! People need to stop accepting this behavior from businesses. You are the customer. They are working for us as long as we are paying them!

Progressive Auto Insurance Is A Money Making Scam!

I am a Pissed Off Consumer of Progressive Auto Insurance! My van was parked in a parking lot and a woman ran into the side of it with her car. I got out of the van and asked her for her drivers license and her insurance information. She told me that she had left her insurance card at her home. I then asked her for her drivers license and she told me that she only tapped my bumper and that I did not need her information. I took my cell phone out of my pocket and started taking pictures of her license plate, her car and her. She then just got into her car and drove away. I called the Torrance Police Department because I was in the city of Torrance Ca and they told me that they dont handle that area but the cop on the phone did give me the number of the Los Angeles Police Department. I called that number and was put on hold by an automated phone system. I stayed on hold for 34 minutes (I kept an eye on the clock) then ended up hanging up. Then I called my progressive auto insurance company and explain to an agent what just happened. He said that he was going to help me start a claim on this accident. This progressive auto insurance agent told me he just looked at my policy and he said that they could not do anything for me. He told me that I have no coverage for collision. I explained to this agent that I have been paying extra for uninsured motorist and was told by the person that set up my insurance that I would be covered if someone ran into me. He told me that the uninsured motorist policy that I had would not cover this type of accident. He then said that I needed to have the collision coverage in place before the accident. The agent then told me that he was going to put in a claim and that I needed to talk to my claim representative. I went to the progressive website and found out that ADRIANNA MAYNES at 858-609-**** was my claim representative. I called Adrianna Maynes and explain the entire situation to her and told her that I had pictures of the woman's License Plate, Her Car and Her. Adrianna Maynes told me that progressive was not able to help me with anything because I didnt have the right policy set up. I explained to Adrianna Maynes that I pay my premiums on time, in full and that I and paying extra for uninsured motorists because I was told by the agent that set my policy up that I needed that to be covered by this type of accident. Adrianna Maynes then told me that if I sent her the license plate number that she would try and find out what insurance company the woman was covered under and that she would give me that information, Then I would have to call the womans insurance company and take care of this myself! At that moment I realized that progressive auto insurance company is nothing more than a money making scam! With progressive auto insurance, you pay your premiums then are left to fend for yourself after an accident! I am very disappointed and disgusted by Progressive Auto Insurance!
