Deferred payment came to haunt me
So things have been okay with this company until yesterday. I was denied a loan they them because I had a delinquent payment yet they do auto draft. Turns out they gave everyone in Houston a deferred payment due to Hurricane Harvey and I was supposed to make arrangements for the deferred payment which I never did figuring they would just add it to the last payment. Now keep in mind I never asked for this deferred payment and I understand trying to help the community. But it should have been the customer’s choice. I luckily was not affected and did not need it. It gets worse. I paid on the spot and told I would most likely be approved for the 1000 I was asking for because my previous loan back in April was approved for 5,000 and only using 2200 of which has been paid back at 400 a month. Guess what they offered? 345 loan. I will do business elsewhere if that is how they treat customers that pay!

I wasnt told about the last payment adding more to the last payment but it got resolved by management and i was happy that it got fixed . Ive had four accounts with them and never had a problem just with that last one i had overall im happy with them i will continue my business with them

I've been trying to pay my balance off but can never get anyone.They charge you an outrages finance fee an you can only get certain items if you dont use all your credit they make you reapply.This is a big rip off.

Unfair charges
I am representative payee for a person that they approved and account for without my knowledge. the total charge was $600.00 at $85.00 a month from bank account. So far they have collected $765.00 and refuse to give me a copy of contract. I do intend to stop these payments. I think $165.00 interest for 9 months is enough. I will be going to the bank to stop this plus I will notify Social Security. I want a copy of any contract he has signed. He was deemed mental and cannot sign a legal document.

Double dipped
Withdrew a double payment for some reason. Tried to put a stop payment on it but Wells Fargo is just as bad with customer service and it went through anyway. Stay as far away from Progressive as possible! Terrible customer service and they will take money from your account with no warning at all. Don't know why I have to use 80 words or more to describe my problem with them as it is pretty straight forward.

Double charging for fraudualant account
I'm being double charge for my account until stop had my bank stop the auto draft payment that was coming out of my account. Also refuse to credit my account back the funds already taken and this has been going on for 3 months. I spent hours on the phone with the company and still refuses to give back the funds. States they will add the funds to my correct. I do not trust this company at all. Not a honest company to do business with.

Progressive is ***. They keep taking money out of the wrong account, causing late fees and bad credit. We put money in the right account and they continue to take it from the wrong account. Huge mistake to use them. Thanks for the continuous screw ups. Causing me overdraft fees, horrible business.

I recently had to contact you progressives financial to review my account that i paid off. I spoke to two gentlemen, one was a supervisor by the name of Dylan. He stated he was sorry my account was still open when I paid the early payoff as well as he was going to refund the $44.55 that you guys pulled out of my account after I paid off my account. Thet sent me another email that my account was still open after i clearly paid it off. I have to call the corporate office I will. I feel I shouldn't have to 1. Call to close my account that was paid off 2. Explain simple accouting of the transaction of $44.55 taken from my account after I paid it off. 3. Writing this email to have to explain this again. Dylan told me on 03/02/2016 That he was going to refund my account and send me an email. This email shows my account is still open. This is ridiculous! I should not have to take any of my time to constantly contact them because of their horrible accounting and customer service. I should not have to 1. Call 2. Write this email. Im beyond pissed about the way my account was handled, i never write horrible review but this company is a big scam
