Terrible customer service.

I bought a ProForm C7L bike several months ago, from a girl who bought it but never opened the box. I opened it, put it together, and it didn't work. The monitor wouldn't power up, and without the electronics, the bike is useless, because resistance can't be adjusted. I contacted ProForm and was told the warranty was no good because I way original owner; no matter that it has never been out of the box. They finally agreed to send me a new monitor, telling me very clearly that if it still didn't work, I'd have to pay to have it fixed. It didn't work. A monitor costs $300, which is more than the $180 my seller originally paid, and equal to what I paid her (she recouped her shipping cost). Icon (ProForm parent company) showed zero interest in trying to make it right. The bike frame is very nice and I'm certain it would last for decades, but again, with no electronics, it's just a piece of metal. I'm disgusted with ProForm, and I will NEVER but from them again!

Bad Console

Getting error code 80001. Called customer support. Need new console. Only had 2 years. Not under warranty and had to pay out of pocket. I will never purchase any product's from proform or nordictrack. YOUR PRODUCT IS HIGH PRICED JUNK

Been waiting since December to have my treadmill repaired through my warranty

I called in December 2022 to let them know my treadmill stopped working. They told me theyd have a technician contact me from my area and they did immediately but they couldnt do anything until ProForm shipped out the parts. They did ship me the lube and that was all they sent until March of 2023 then I received the belt thinking that was all but NOPE, now Im being told it could be 6-8 more weeks before I receive the walking board. NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE EQUIPMENT FROM THIS COMPANY because it shouldnt take half a year to receive parts and who knows how long the entire process of fixing my treadmill will take. The only thing they offered for my troubles was to fill out some form to try and speed up the delivery of the last part but I was told that could still take up to 6-8 weeks. I couldve just saved paying the extending warranty and just joined a gym. RIDICULOUS! One positive thing is that everyone Ive had to speak with has been very nice so Ill give them that much

I asked for tech for troubleshooting. I get to many questions and then told I have to pay.

I just want a walkthrough on resetting the console. $159.00 for an technician to answer a question is ridiculous or to give me a moment of help. Not cool man.

Missing part

The rear stabilizer was missing from the box. Ive called Costco where I purchased it, they didnt even call back. Ive never gotten anyone on the phone from ProForm. Im usually working and this has wasted too much time. So I have a big stationary bike in my living room that has never been used in over two years. What a waste of space.

Waiting months for parts & repair

I have a two year old Proform treadmill. This one was a replacement because my old one of the same make was defective. This one had prior repair on the motor which took AGES to get taken care of. It ran ok for about a year and a half and then I started to notice issues with the motor slowing down and speeding up, as well as making noise. I called a month and a half ago for maintenance and repair as I have a plan for the treadmill. The parts were ordered and slowly SLOWLY were delivered. Its almost two months since I called and Im STILL waiting for the one piece I actually really need.. the MOTOR. So I call again to ask whats going on and they say oh its not here yet, it will be here in March MARCH!!! Not one email or anything about how long it would take !!! Then after that part comes, Ill still have to wait to schedule an appointment for an actual repair!! Its absolutely ridiculous!!! I will never ever EVER buy another proform treadmill after this one fully breaks. Absolutely horrible.

Batteries display lost power after an update

I was on the bike and got a message that it needs to get updated on the app. The update started and I lost the power on the display, I had try to reset the display by holding the + but still no power

I ordered two products from Proform. The sales rep was responsive and helpful. One item arrived and I had no issues with it. The other item arrived damaged. I contacted Proform Support via phone. I was on hold for over an hour just to have the rep tell me I needed to be transferred to another department. I was on hold with that dept for over 45 minutes ,then I was disconnected. The same thing happened when I contacted them again via chat a few days later. I was transferred and not helped. A few days later, I submitted a return ticket online and received a confirmation email stating someone would contact me within 2448 hours. No one ever did. I tried calling and chatting several times after that, and each time I was given the run-around and transferred between departments. It's been over 5 weeks with no response or attempt from Proform to resolve my issue.

Horrible customer service on new equipment

Received a Carbon EL elliptical machine for Christmas and have not been able to use it because the resistance is stuck at the highest level. Went through the trouble shooting site and determined its the motor that needs to be replaced. The online assistant, phone number and support ticket submissions have all failed. Its been a month since purchase and my husband has received the credit card bill for it. Just want it resolved so I can use what seems like an otherwise good product.

Exercise bike is not working

The display screen and power function do not work. I have been waiting on the phone for 49 minutes to speak customer service .

Poor quality even poorer cistomerservice

I bought my exercise bike after four months it broke. I contacted the company they said they only offer a 90 day warranty but if I purchase a extended warranty its covered for a year. After I spent an additional $150 on a extended warranty they informed me that the bike has to be repaired before the warranty takes affect and that would be another $300 out of my pocket to repair it then the warranty would cover it. This would make the bike cost almost $1500. Outrageous I couldve bought a peloton for that price

Equipment defective

For the last year and half when I purchased my Proform spin bike it was defective. Through this past year and half i had been trying to get it fixed. This last contact that I had with Tristan Gonzales in your parts department. I have sent multiple emails to this person with information requested. I also have made multiple phone calls to Proform which has been a nightmare in itself. I have constantly been given the run around about fixing the bike and finally they say there is NO one in the Coeur D' Alene , Idaho area for service. The Tristan Gonzales had spoke to someone higher up. They were going to replace bike. I sent all required documents she requested and no RESPONSE. I would appreciate someone to help me with this matter or tell me who to contact to get my very expensive bike that has been just sitting fixed. Thank You Carisa Cole

Poor customer service

May 25th I contacted customer service as treadmill issues. I had to pay $159. And as of today June 4th. Noone has called or come out to see what is wrong with treadmill, which was purchased 2 years ago. I am very dissatisfied with your customer support. Email. Ckoren22@***.com or contact me 702-858-**** Or 702-256-****. I contacted customer service at least 4 times.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product or service ordered. A repair technician spent over 90 minutes diagnosing the issue and replaced parts that were provided by ProForm. The problem was corrected to the best of his ability..

My treadmill needs service. I've spent a week trying to get service. Every time I call, I'm on hold for an extremely long time. When I chat, they want you to upload a video of the problem yet they wont provide an email to upload video to. Last customer agent actually disconnected my call when I requested an email to send the video.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product or service ordered. The company reached out and a technician ordered replacement parts for all mechanical parts of our brand new treadmill. Talked to them and we negotiated successful closure..

I paid $1800 for Proform 9000 a higher end treadmill May 2021 direct from Proform , it has not run 4 hours yet, I kid not. I also paid for Premiere support for another $489, so far I did all the work. A technician is scheduled to come try to do a final repair. Only when I made a stink did they offer to send someone. Parts shipped were ridiculously simple cables, defective controller cards, no resolution yet. It is turning a year old. Many Weeks passed in between when they took my calls and when parts showed up, nothing got shipped speedily. Most things were out of stock. Buyer bewareI am getting ready to demand a refund or seek remedy if they do not get it running in the next week. This has been a joke and very painful. There are a few good support people but there are also some within their organization who dont seem to care. It seems this company did a pre market blitz before sales but there seems to be a problem in the deliverable- do your homework! We have not been able to use it at all, the belt will not turn even though it freely moves by hand. If you were my friend I would recommend to find a different brand.

Fraudulent Practices

Fraudulent company. Their marketing materials are intentionally misleading. I thought I was purchasing a Carbon HIIT H7, but actually purchased a membership for $1407. They then send the equipment for free. I realized the deception the following day and immediately sent a message through their website stating I wanted to cancel. I received an email acknowledgement. Trying to reach anyone by telephone was fruitless. At 10PM the night of the same day I received acknowledgement that I wanted to cancel my order, I received an invoice for $1407. I sent an email stating I did not want the machine or the membership. The following morning I received an email stating the item has shipped. I tried using the Chat function to discuss the problem with someone, but to no avail. All of their actions are misleading and fraudulent.
