I have encountered a problem with the refund process, notifying one of my tax refund voucher went missing. I have purchased 2 items, Skecher in Parndorf outlet on 9th December (refund amount 8 Euro) and Chanel bags from Chanel shop in Vienna on 11th December (refund amount 800 Euro). Both of the vat refunds got pre-paid in cash. Upon my departure from Budapest airport on 16th December, I got the custom stamp and dropped all tax refund vouchers in the provided mailbox before departure gate. Surprisingly, today (17th January) I got an email from planet free tax notifying my tax refund document went missing. The funny thing is, the small amount tax voucher was well-received and processed since 7th January without any problems, whereas the 800 Euro refund voucher is deliberately not yet arrived. How can it be possible that 2 envelops sent out from the same post box at the same time reach your office only 1? And it has to be the higher amount that went missing! I am notified that if the original copy document does not reach the office soon, (now the time is extended to 15th February), I will be charged the prepaid amount + fee on my credit card. I really feel this is the scam and request to call for the investigation immediately. A lot of tourists, especially Asians have encountered the same problem as me, when they purchase high value items from Hermes and Chanel. I believe this is not the coincident. It's always the same trick saying that "planet tax free service doesn't receive your high value tax refund document, hence refuses to proceed your refund + charges you back". I have the evidence of my stamped vouchers attached in this email with the thread of customer rep's email, and I will not hesitate to file the dispute, as I have already done everything according to the instruction, right and clear! Please prove no such corrupted acts in your business by investigating this case seriously. I hope it will be only the misunderstanding or the delay in post delivery (even all other envelopes have been arrived safe and sound). I believe planet tax free wouldn't risk the reputation or would like to enter the lawsuit for just a few hundred Euros.

Don't refund via credit card
On several occassions getting a tax refund they would try to evade payment. I followed up with numerous calls and emails and on 1 occasion it took 6 months. Can't avoid using the company hence my advice is to go for cash refund only otherwise they will pocket the money. This company has now changed its name to Planet Tax free

I bought a hand bag from Chanel Montaigne 4650 Euro equal $ 5020. The tax refund I should receive is about $650 . I got my Premier tax refund stamped in Barcelona ( Spain) . Then I send it by the Air port mail box in Barcelona; But the Premier Tax free insisted they never received it ; and they asked for the original Tax form paper.I think this is a scam since original Tax paper I got only one. They didn't accept the copy. So I got no money back.
