Now a fake rescue

Jess Durken of Prada Pups has disolved her business and is now a fake rescue by the name of Stone Creek Adoptions.

Blessing from God that I got to see her true colors before giving her my business

The truth is this: If Jess Durkin of Prada Puppies, Premier Puppies, whatever, was a good business, she wouldn't have to defend herself so hard against so many negative reviews online. If she conducted good, HONEST business, the internet would be flooded with glowing reviews. But instead, all websites that she has no control over are filled with so many different versions if the same terrible story and her making up things that happened out of desperation. Psychotic people truly believe the lies they tell. She literally belongs in a mental hospital. Her poor husband looks like he's constipated all the time and I would too if I had to deal with that woman 24/7.

Resolved: No thank you!

Updated by user Jun 02, 2019
There is no way to resolve it. It’s just not the fit for us.

Original review Jun 02, 2019
Made an appointment to visit a puppy earlier today. Met the puppy with my husband and two kids and really liked her. Asked if we could have a few moments to talk it over privately- wanted to make absolutely sure we were making the right decision. A few minutes later we let her know that we needed to sleep on it - and shortly after leaving got a text saying it was “offensive” that we asked for time to speak alone as a family and that she would not sell the puppy to us because we should not have an issue discussing anything with her there. My son is on the autism spectrum and I wanted to make sure HE was sure and I didn’t want to embarrass him in front of a complete stranger. No problem - she can keep her puppies.

Prada Puppies Worst

I asked "Jessica" I guess her name is, about a calm breed because in the past I had bought an Australian Shepard without doing any research & found I had a high strung herding dog who required a lot of exercise & didn't want to make the same mistake twice. She basically pushed me to the unsuitable dogs she had left over that no one wanted & when I didn't want any of them said I should get an older dog. She was so rude & had the nerve to write something about me negatively on facebook. Well, you are the most rude person ever! You don't breed dogs so basically you're a dog broker. You sell dogs from puppy mills. You don't care about animals your basically brokering a deal for money. Everyone knows that there are higher strung breeds & if you can't take the time to match customers to the right breed you are really in the wrong business.

Worst Experience, Ever

This review basically explains: •Wouldn't accept anything but cash (including certified bank check) •Said with words she would cover certain things but contract said she wouldn't •Was rude when I asked reasonable questions •Yelled at me and my boyfriend in front other clients •Kicked us out after we got to be a little to curious for her liking •Used way too many words and phrases that we didn't understand and was rude when we asked for clarification •Yelled at us that it was an inconvenience for her to meet with us on Easter even though she advertised appointments that day THEY HAVE BEEN SUED FOR SELLING SICK PUPPIES 100% would NOT recommend. Jess Durkin of Prada Pups/Prada Puppies is extremely unprofessional. I just had the worst experience of my life. After seeing the puppy I came to see, I wanted to step outside to speak with my boyfriend in private just for us to confirm with each other that we absolutely loved him and he was the right decision, she was clearly annoyed that we did that. Which was fine, we were back in the house in 5 seconds because we both agreed that we fell in love with him. Then, when going over the paper work, she slammed through everything. Her words ran into each other, I couldn't tell one sentence from another. She was using way too much veterinarian jargen. The average person would have no clue what she was even saying. When I asked reasonable questions, she would roll her eyes and her tone would be clearly annoyed. One of the puppies were coughing, which is a sign of sickness. But it's also a side effect of kennel cough vaccine. But of course, making a huge decision and being a customer, I'm going to ask questions. She had said she will cover all ver bills for sickness up to 14 days and there was another two year health gaurentee, not including kennel cough and some other common issues. So when I brought that up, she said she'd still Facebook pay me for it anyway and the only reason they have that in writing is so that she doesn't get stuck with a crazy unnecessary bill for exrays for some flu type thing that she said to me as if I would know how minor it is. Like what??? At this point, another couple showed up to pick up their puppy. She emphasized to my boyfriend over text that she accepts cash only, which is a red flag to me. I'm a bank manager so I like certified paper trails for every transaction. I had just asked her, why, to which she responded 'um, so you don't scam me' with the nastiest attitude. I had asked her how she felt about certified cashier's check, and she snapped. Saying, first you only want to meet on Easter, then you ask about kennel cough and then you don't want to do cash. Literally yelling in front of the other couple. First of all, she advertised Easter appointments after 4. Second, it was a big decision, of course I'm going to ask questions. Third, my boyfriend and I were simply inquiring about a cashiers check, even though we had cash on hand and were willing to purchase the puppy then and there. She wanted no part. While I tried explaining to her that I want him and we were asking reasonable questions, she told me flat out, she didn't care. She kicked us out.

Dead dog

Just wanted to give you an update in regards to Leo who we purchased from you not even 3 years ago. He died. A little piece of my 7 year old sons heart died right along with him. 3 year old pup. My 11 year old Boston is still thriving. But my 3 year old puppy died from his hereditary health issues. Sad to see you are still up and running.

My family member bought an English bulldog the dog has Cherry eye. Reached out several times just the run around. His vet does not do the procedure. I reached prada cause someone else i know bout a English bulldog and prada apparently worked with them. Avoids phone calls. But if u call from another phone she asnswers. Just not the way you should handle business. But she could communicate when she was getting paid. Never again.

Sells sick pups and refuses to pay for their medical bills

Stay clear of Prada Puppies and owner Jessie, she sells sick pups. Upon picking up my pup that evening terrible choking cough, had to make emergency vet appointment, also discovered she had parasites. Vet gave me “UnFit For Sale “ documentation of which I submitted to state. Only to find other reviews with the same experience. This was more than 4 months ago and much expense to me. Jessie promised every day to pay vet bills, as of yet no bill was ever paid. State is now involved . I suggest anyone thinking of Prada Pups due diligence and stay clear. She is not a breader of Labs only a broker of pups from who knows where...

Only allows good reviews and sent customers to this site

Hi Guys... it's seems the haters have been crazy on Pissed Consumers website (not sure of the link sorry) Google Pissed Consumers Prada Puppies brings it up with reviews about Prada Puppies. It's the ONLY place on the internet we HAVE bad reviews because it's basicly highjacked by activists and you do not have to have "proof" of any claims. As everyone knows we aren't into drama but unfortunately it seems people just want to believe that. So if there are positive ones in there they will see them too. Our roll calls get 400 plus "real" people but guess that does not count If anyone would like to go leave a positive review of your experience with us would be helpful to balance it out as it seems people only believe neg reviews. It's just super annoying. It takes about 2 min and would be extremely helpful Thanks so much for your help We LOVE our Facebook Family we would not be who we are with out you guys 20 years of the Best of the Best *** you will get horrible comments under your post just smile and ignore *** they sink their own boat And just an FYI : we are not rude, disrespectful, defensive ect. We are 100% truthful, open and I guess blunt. Unfortunately when people do not get the response they " want" we become those things in their mind. We love what we do, we love our clients and most of all love our puppies We would rather be 100% transparent, truthful and "hurt" some feelings along the way then try to pretend we are something we are not.

Wrong breed

When we got our puppy, we were told she was a border collie/australian shepard mix. After a year of wondering, we got a DNA test and found that she was in fact neither. Our dog is 2 and has the worst behavior problems (Aniexty, not dog friendly, not people friendly). After multiple trainers/vets we were told that it’s most likely because she was taken from her mother too early. Reguardless everything, we love her unconditionally.

We have an amazing 2 yr old bulldog

We got Diesel our bulldog/pug from Jess two years ago. I jus happened upon her FB page and did some research. we fell in love... he has been the best family dog we could have asked for. Jess was upfront with us about everything that was going on with him from her vet check. It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary of puppies. If we still lived In the area we wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another dog from Prada Puppies. I’m favt even though we live over a thousand miles away now, I still stay on her FB page to see all the new puppies ! Take the negative reviews with a grainof salt. Ive come to realize that when I people cannot control a situation they tend to become outraged over the smallest of details. Form your own opinions of this company.

Don’t believe all you read

I have the most perfect little to color yorkie that we got from Prada Puppies. I found this “venting outlet” after I place a deposit on Zoey. For days I mulled over in my head with my husband whether we should just ask for our money back. After having another dog at home (in which we adopted) these reviews had me worried she would get him sick. I was scared as while I read a lot of positive reviews it’s the negative reviews that you listen to more. Well I’m glad that I went with my gut. Zoey is the most loving, affectionate, gentle dog. I am so happy I have her. We have never had ANY health issues with her. When we first got her she did take a few months to actually cuddle and sit wit you. She was a loner and while she trusted us she preferred to sit by herself. Now every morning before we get out of bed she can’t get herself close enough. Don’t believe all the negative. Jess is very transparent and all of these reviews. While some people may not like her ways or personality (she’s from Jersey her personality is no different than anyone else’s) it doesn’t mean she does harm or sells sicks puppies. My suggestion is don’t believe everything you read... I’m glad we didn’t.

BEWARE!! Jess was already sued by the State and LOST!!

If you received sick puppies from her, please report her to the state. She was sued before by the state and was found guilty. Read for yourself at http://nj.gov/oag/newsreleases15/pr2015****a.html: New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs and “Prada Puppies” Agree to Settlement, “Prada Puppies” Agrees to Change Business Practices and Pay $65,634 for Restitution, Reimbursements and Penalties NEWARK - Acting Attorney General John J. Hoffman and the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs and defendant Jessica Durkin, d/b/a "Prada Puppies," of Salem, a pet dealer who allegedly sold sick pets to consumers, have reached a $65,634.41 settlement that includes consumer restitution along with civil penalties and legal/investigative cost reimbursements. “We’re pleased that the affected consumers will be receiving restitution under this settlement,” Acting Attorney General Hoffman said. “We can’t undo the heartache these consumers suffered when their newly-purchased puppies became sick or had to be euthanized, but this settlement includes business practice reforms to ensure that only healthy pets are offered for sale going forward.” “The Pet Purchase Protection Act and the Pet Purchase Protection regulations require that cats and dogs offered for sale receive an examination from a licensed veterinarian before delivery, as well as disclosure to consumers that this important procedure has been completed,” noted Steve Lee, Acting Director of the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs. “Any consumer about to buy a pet should review their rights, as well as the seller’s responsibilities, under this law.” Five consumers will receive a total of $6,443.72 in restitution for the purchase price and/or veterinary costs incurred for their pets. Of the remaining settlement amount, $58,134.41 in civil penalties and cost reimbursements to the State are suspended for a 30-month period and will be vacated if the settlement terms are not violated. Under the settlement, Durkin cannot sell a cat or dog within New Jersey without a history and health certificate containing the name and address of the person from whom she purchased the cat or dog; the breeder’s name and address and the litter number; the date Durkin took possession of the cat or dog; the date or dates on which the cat or dog was examined by a veterinarian, along with the findings made and the treatment, if any, taken or given to the cat or dog; the statement of all vaccinations or inoculations administered, including the identity and quantity of the vaccine or inoculum administered; and the date of administration of the vaccinations and inoculations; The settlement further prohibits Durkin from: selling a cat or dog within New Jersey without a history and health certificate containing a 10-point bold-face type "WARNING, " as required by the Pet Purchase Protection regulations; failing to maintain a copy of the history and health certificate signed by the consumer for a period of one year following the date of sale; failing to provide consumers with a "KNOW YOUR RIGHTS" statement detailing prior examinations and a "WAIVER OF REEXAMINATION RIGHTS;” failing to have purchased cats or dogs examined by a licensed veterinarian at least three days prior to delivery to the consumer; refusing to refund consumers' money after selling them a sick or defective cat or dog; refusing to reimburse consumers’ veterinary fees incurred prior to receipt of the veterinarian certification; failing to issue to consumers an ''Unfitness of Animal - Election Of Options" form for a cat or dog deemed unfit for purchase; and failing to notify the Division of Consumer Affairs no later than five days of receipt of the "Unfitness of Animal - Election Of Options" certificate that the status is contested. As set forth in the State’s Complaint, Durkin allegedly violated New Jersey's Consumer Fraud Act and Regulations Governing the Sale of Animals through her sale of puppies that turned out to be sick and in need of expensive veterinary treatment. Investigator Donna Leslie, of the Division of Consumer Affairs Office of Consumer Protection, conducted this investigation. Deputy Attorney General Alina Wells, of the Consumer Fraud Prosecution Section within the Division of Law, represented the State in this matter.
