Great rescue

Saves so many dogs, and finds them loving homes. If Donna didn't pull all these dogs, they would end up in garbage bags.I've fostered for her years ago,and was a foster failure the first time. Then fostered 2 more dogs.saved from death road

This rescue needs an IRS review

This person is unbelievable and so unprofessional. Does not follow through with what good people pledge and donate in order to help, and save an animal. Her site state that the different amounts she is requesting go towards different categories that the animals need. SHE IS A SCAN RESCUE!. She gives out empty promises and never follows through on her lies. Wake up and realize that the funds you give to her organization sites DO NOT go to the animals. They go to things needed for her own dog to include one *** of an expensive collar, her NY apartment, her month-long vacations and whatever else she needs.

It Does NOT Work as Agvertised

I purchased a small jar after watching a video and reading all the positive feedback because there was no negative then I received my jar after using it for one month I saw NO difference at all. I realize I only paid a small amount however I'm sick and tired of scams and no one is holding them responsible! Stop Allowing Companies to get away with SCAMING consumers, shut them down NOW!

A Complete Joke

In 2015 my husband and I made the decision to foster a dog through Pound Hounds. At the time we had a 4 month old son, a 3 year old male dog, and an older cat. We did all of the leg work to transport the dog- Pound Hounds never even saw the dog. The dog was a 6ish month male pit puppy, fixed, from the city. We did everything we could integrate the dog into our home but unfortunately the two male dogs were not a good fit. The foster dog ultimately bit our dog in the neck and our dog underwent extensive surgery (drains etc..) to repair the damage. I contacted Pound Hounds to let them know that I needed them to find another foster and they refused. I nicely explained that I had a 6 month old child (the dog had already been with us for 2 months)and it was not longer a safe environment for any of us- dogs included. They told me to crate and rotate with our other dog. That would have been a great solution had our other dog been crate trained so ultimately the dog sat in his crate for upwards of 18 hours per day and was only taken out for walks and to eat. As an animal lover I begged Pound Hounds to help us - they refused and continuously told me they had nobody that could foster him. The poor dog sat in the basement while we worked tirelessly to find him a home while also working with a trainer (out of our own pocket) to help with behavior modification. The irony was that once we found a home for this dog it was via an ad we posted on Craigslist and the rescue was more than persistent with the new owner about collecting their money for a dog they’d never even met. This week the owner of the foster called me hysterically crying because she’s pregnant and the dog was acting aggressively towards other alpha male dogs in her house. She had contacted Pound Hounds and they not only refused to take the dog but also refused any options and name called her. This dog was my first foster - I’ve fostered over 20 animals since then from kill shelters as well as other rescues and I have NEVER experienced a more unprofessional and ill equipped institution in the 4 years since I fostered this dog. You should be ashamed of yoursef for ignoring dangerous situations. Rescues like yours are the reason that so many animals die in pounds. Not every dog is a good fit for the home it’s placed in however, rescues that are collecting money for these animals should have a fall back plan when homes don’t work out. Do yourself a favor and go to your local kill shelter or pound - and actually save an animal. Save your money on these clowns.

Donna is the Greatest

The ASPCA explained I had to find a Safe Hope & to save a puppy from the death list. I put up a request & Pounds Hounds Resq contacted me. I don't get everyone problems with Donna. She was so nice & got an 11 month old (the spca made him out to be vicious) GSD that became part of our family a few days later. I recommend them to everyone!!!

Pound Hounds resq NYC -fraud

Saw a dog one hour from euthanasia at a local high kill shelter. The dog was rescue only and Pound Hounds agreed to sponsor her if we fostered. We had to go pick her up the next morning. Pound Hounds never laid eyes on her. They then were to come do a home inspection. Never happened. The dog was very dog aggressive (people friendly) and weighed 49 lbs. Quite a risk to walk should she get loose. We worked hard with her. She nipped a few people and tore up the house. We requested financial assistance from Pound Hounds which their site states is available along with any services a foster may need. They refused to help us They continued to state that unless we were adopting the dog the training was a waist of time? We actually found a trainer willing to discount the training. It was impossible for me to keep the dog because of her size and behavior issues but I wanted her to find the right home as she was a loving sweet girl. Upon needing to relocate we again contacted Pound Hounds as we were unsure we would be able to bring the dog. Again they could not help us but tried to make us feel guilty for asking them to take the dog back. (we told them we had never turned a pet into a shelter-true and that we had had dogs and other pets all our lives-true) We spent numerous amounts of money placing her in our kennel on weekends when we had plans-graduations, birthdays- and expected guests or had to be away from the house for long periods of time. The entire time we fostered the dog no contact was made to us by Pound Hounds, we always had to contact them. Found a new place and were able to keep the dog.We contacted Pound Hounds "Great you are going to keep her!!" Suddenly in October we are contacted by Pound Hounds Some one is interested in the dog. Well I say we are keeping her. Oh now we owe THEM $300 and they are threatening to sue us and ruin our credit. They also warn us that the dog has a micro chip in it with their name on it. Good I am opening the door now as we speak and she'll be there tomorrow. Hope you can dig up a foster who enjoys being bit. Also hope you have some insurance!! These people are all about money They had absolutely no interest in this dog until some one wanted to pay them $300 for her. A disgrace They should be shut down!!
