Bad experience today - others in the past also.
Today, stopped at the location in Elmhurst, IL. Went inside to order for a takeout. Ordered two beef sandwiches, small fries and a cheese. Also ordered giardiniera on the side. Ordered 2 chocolate cake slices also. Got home and there was no giardiniera. My beef was so skimpy, that I was going to go back to the restaurant. Too far really to do that. Cooled down a little and ate what we had. My wife calmed me down a little. Decided to enjoy the cake a litttle after eating - my wife had EGG SHELLS in her cake! We threw them in the trash. What the *** is happening Portillos??? I have had issues in the past a few times with wrong orders in the store and bad attitude employees. It also seems like the skins on the hot dogs are not what they used to be. Can't hardly bite through them! Portillos - you are losing a long-time Bewarecustomer. Better wake up!

Quality of food was horrible!
This isnt the first timeThe fries was cold hard as a rock! The fish was soo soggy and tater sauce was like they just slapped it on there so much it was everywhere. The lettuce was brown I was very disappointed I love yall fish. I worked 12 hours I was so looking forward to sitting down eating

Customer service is crap
Do NOT order delivery through them. If the driver doesn't pick up your order, they'll cancel without reason, you'll have to jump through hoops to get an explanation, then good luck getting a refund for NOT getting anything. Also if you try and call the store, they'll hang up on you. Grub hub contacted them to refund me and they did, then charged me anyway.

Food quality is getting worse
Recently had a Italian beef sandwich which the meat was overcooked and had no texture. Felt like mush as I ate it. Also lacked flavor. Also had a vanilla malt. No malt flavor. Disappointed

I've complained and sent feedbacks, but no avail. I even tried online and it says something about "Please verify you are not a robot". Looks like the system is rigged to keep feedbacks at bay. PLEASE LISTEN!!!

My Google review explains... You guys suck the sweat off balls. Orders so small that a half wit can't screw up is an everyday screw up for this staff. Aside from can't read to put chicken on a salad when the receipt is highlighted in bright yellow ADD CHICKEN, making people spend gas to have them correct their mistakes, consistently according to other people as well as me that wont come back here due to it along with no brains, uneducated, they're not smart at all, no manners, no morals, ethics, respect. Mommy failed them all. Everyone here should be fired & sent to military school to be set straight before being allowed to be work elsewhere. Fire them promptly cuz not only can the business be saved by good & right people for the jobs that deserve the jobs, but they'll *** the wrong people off in this crazy society & innocent people with them will be hurt cuz people are & will be crazy enough to do something

Complications placing and receiving otder
Placed order. Was remade a total 5 times until it was made correct, and even then, my bun wasnt toasted and was ice cold. I ran out of time to eat and had to go back to work. Took over 40 minutes to fix and still wasnt correct

I received a Christmas gift of hot dogs. The 2 tomatoes were smooshed causing their juice to get the buns wet. I want to talk to Customer Service about this but no matter how many times Ive called the number doesnt go through. BYW, the package was delivered past the original delivery date I was given. Not worth the money.

Need to Speak to a Manager
I ordered a char broiled chicken sandwich on Monday, 09/05/22 and never received my sandwich. Uber Eats refused toM get ahold of the driver to get him to go back to PORTILLOS and re deliver my sandwich. I tried calling the restaurant and no one seems to answer the phone. Whoever bags the food, make sure everything is in the bag before handing it

STOLEN WALLET CHICAGO- Shocker
I was at the Portillos location at the corner of Ontario and Clark in Chicago on Saturday, August 6 around 2 PM central time. I was robbed at this location. They stole my entire wallet from my purse that I was WEARING. I have filed a police report and have a detective assigned to my case. I spoke to the on-site security guard who told me this is a regular occurrence at this location and NOTHING is done about it. DO NOT EAT HERE

There is females there that I work with that are trying to bring up old things that was said Selena is mad because Im Dating someone now there was a incident when a guy she was talking to screamed and yelled in her face threatening to beat her up I felt sorry for her brought her something for Valentines Day gave her a hug I admit I did say something towards her saying that when she reached for the hot dogs I got a erection mind you nobody In that job is saints they all go back n forward saying sarcastic jokes to one another loud sometimes in front of customers and theres this girl name zuly I complimented her about her lips which was not in a sexual way I explained to her that thats just a eye catcher on a female to me I aint said it no type of disrespectful way and I even told her to her face that I didnt want her and I just gave compliments where its due Im very respectful especially on the job site and theres this girl name amber one day she constantly was saying oh I like Tre he always cleaning etc. no one I said anything to was a minor so she was putting lotion on her hands saying slick stuff about I said a harmless joke because EVERYBODY In there says worse things and done worse things than me Im There best worker there and everyone of them Can vouch so now this the reason all of a sudden things want to be said I just recently saved a girl That works there out of a domestic violence relationship they see Im happy they see she becoming happier they seen us hugging and kissing and also walking to work together they see somebody actually instrested Im me they see the love because all these things were said months before they even found out its the girl Selena who is in her feelings the most they come to my station hot dogs/table snatching stuff throwing stuff acting like Im there boyfriend I address it every time and so Once I noticed negative energy trying to attack me through my job I take my bible to work and been Reading it and not engaging or talking to the women and I know thats why there feeling some type of way Im about to become a manager at Wendys Im supposed to be a crew chief now they talking bout my tattoo on my face I work there because its convenient to where I live I enjoy the job its just that now I dont pay them any attention even just regular conversations to avoid mischief and drama my question is if I made them feel Uncomfortable why wasnt any action taken when it first occurred if I made them feel Some type of way and the girl Amber was mad because she wrote her number on a peice of paper and I didnt use it because Im not interested
