Wrong order

I ordered 2 parts for my Anthony pool pump from pool center last 14 days ago and one week latter I received men sweet pants bottoms "GAP brand" from Pool Center. I contacted Pool Center and they had me take pictures of the ups label and a picture of what I received which was the GAP sweat pants. They contacted me by email the next day as promised from a different support person and asked me to resend the pictures. This was 5 days ago now and I haven't heard a word. I guess "I will have to settle on my new GAP sweat pants. In the meantime I purchased the Anthony Pump parts from another vendor form a walk-in retailer. Mark M.

DO not order from this company

Pricing on website is great, but buyer beware of the lack of service if anything goes wrong. I first ordered the wrong part and sent it back. I called a few days after it had been received to inquire about the refund to my credit card. I was informed they needed the tracking number of the package. I told them I was told to write the original tracking# on the return box as well as the order number which I did. They had all the necessary information to process the refund but did not initiate anything until my call in which I still had to provide the return tracking number before they processed. I then ordered the correct part and what arrived was not what I ordered. They emailed me a return label and I shipped product back. Product was received 9/7/18 and refund was created on 9/11/18. On 9/13/18 I called to inquire on refund and was told it takes 7-10 days for refund from date it was created! It's a simple process of crediting the credit card and processing does not take that long. Be prepared to do the leg work to get refund as they are not pro-active!

Total rip-off

Placed an order a month ago for a hard-to-find filter grid assembly. Paid nearly $500.00 for the order. Initial communication by email was great - "Order Received" email within minutes, "Order ready to ship" email the following day,... and then silence. Nothing. They use a supplier/fulfillment house but have 0 visibility into the shipping process. After several weeks of waiting I called and was told that they have no idea where my order is. Okay, those things happen. After speaking with a very nice supervisor, I was told she would personally call me the following Tuesday and give me an update. She said they had to contact the shipper and have them search for the order. Ok, big warehouse,... I get it. Tuesday comes and goes, no call. I call back on Thursday to the same story. "Sorry, we can't locate your order. All we can do is contact the shipper and see if they can locate the order in the warehouse." At this point my frustration is off the chart. Look, I get it. Logistics isn't easy. But to take a $500.00 order and not be able to get any information on it while asking me to patiently wait while they make calls and send emails,...? Why is their inefficiency my problem? So now it's another week later and still no information. No calls or updates. I asked for a refund during the last call and was told that they couldn't refund me because they don't know where the order is. In their mind, they feel that the order was fulfilled because, heaven forbid, the unit shows up on my doorstep after they refund me?! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. Maybe 4 out of 5 times it won't end in disaster but that 5th time will make you completely drop them as a viable online retailer. Too bad I didn't have the initial 4 successes before they screwed up my order. POOLCENTER.COM! WHERE'S MY FILTER GRIDS?

Worst on line experience in many years

Ordered pool parts for a multiport valve. Waited and never received parts that showed shipped. contacted them first time and they said would call me right back and would check with UPS. Never called back so next day called again, waiting another 15 to 20 minutes, that person said no one ever checked with UPS. This is about 11 days after the order was placed. She said they would reship but they had no expedited shipping. I waited again for another 5 days and contacted through live chat. Turns out they never shipped the first time and hadn't reshipped either. He was unhelpful in that he couldn't give me a time frame of when they would ship, just that it takes 7-10 days. this was day 16. He couldn't figure out a way to get it shipped faster. Cancelled order but now pool is really green. THANKS Amazingly bad all around.

Terrible experience

Ordered a part for my pool heater and paid for 2 day shipping. Called after a week and was given a story that because this is a drop shipment they refund my 2 day shipping and i should receive it no later than 10days. Called after 13 days and they have no ideas when i would receive it and no tracking number. No idea how they run their business

Worst Customer Service Ever, Avoid at all cost

Ordered replacement parts to rebuild by Hayward 1 HP pool pump. The seal plate received is warped and is one digit off from what fits my pump size. This plate is for a larger pump. When placing order I looked at two impellers trying to match numbers for my pump with a online diagram. When order was sent, I somehow received both impeller. The one was correct and perfect fir, the other clear as day was way to large. After 6 email, two telephone calls and two emails back from them promising a RGA and credit, NOTHING. It has now been two weeks with no communications. I had to finally go to my local pool store and pay twice the price to get the correct seal plate and put my pump back together. Now I have to buy more chemicals to get rid of the algae and get my pool water back inline since running without a pump. Never dealt with a poor company like this, never will again and have told as many people as possible to avoid them.

Bad Customer Service

Ordered wrong part due to their advice. I sent a couple emails clarifying it with no response. A few phone calls until I could get through. Now they say they will not accept a return and I am out $200

Ripoff

I needed to return a part that was wrong it took poolcenter 11 days to get it to me and four days to tell me where to send return and that to get a full return it must be received 14 days from purchase. Well that is impossible so even with many emails back a forth they insist they will not give a full refund because there policy is 14 days from purchase. This is why the title is ripoff. It is the perfect title for poolcenter. Poolcenter knows exactly what they are doing by delaying shipping so that any return will have a 20 percent restocking fee. Oh you have to pay to ship returned item also.

Review in Plumbing fixtures category from Eminence, Kentucky

I wish I had seen this site before I ordered from pool center! I ordered a leak detector kit and paid for expedited shipping. It's almost two weeks later and several emails...now they have no record of my order even though I have an order confirmation email and a chain of emails regarding my order. Customer service over the phone and email are rude and inefficient to say the least. Do yourself and your pool a favor: shop anywhere else but poolcenter.com!!!!

RIP OFF RETURN POLICY

I ordered parts from the poolcenter.com on the advise one of their employees. They advised the wrong parts. When I got the order, I called my pool guy and he came over within a week. Of course, he told me that it was the wrong parts. We called the pool center and told them that the wrong parts were advised and sold to us. There was no mention that the old parts needed to sent back ASAP. So, I finally get the correct parts and within a few weeks the pool guy comes over and fixes it while I am away on vacation. When I come back from vacation and attempt to return the parts, the customer service rep and the two so called "managers" state there is nothing they can do and I am stuck with these useless parts that cost over $300. There is no way I would ever suggest or advise anyone to do business with any of these people. RIP OFF!

Order never shipped, no refund

I ordered a gasket to get my filter up and running again, and paid for two day shipping. I never received tracking info, and when the part wasnt delivered on time, I called them to learn that they had lost the order, and that they would expedite the order. Three days later, still no part, and they still couldn't find tracking info, or order information. I still have not received a refund. They have been unable to complete my order . It has taken three phone calls, and many minutes on hold, only to be told we don't know what the problem is. They do not indicate when an item is drop shipped or in stock.

Don't EVER buy from this company

Oh how I wish I had checked reviews before buying anything from this company! There is no such thing as customer service here. For a company that sells critical items for pools they do not have a care in the world for their customers. I ordered a plastic lid for my filter assembly on 5/24. The order wasn't processed until 5/31 and shipped Lord only knows when. Here it is 6/9 and I can't even get shipping or tracking information. Not only that but the people you speak to are extremely rude. They clearly do not want to be speaking to you. Check out company reviews before you make a purchase!

Pool Cleaner Parts Review

I ordered parts for my pool sweep from Poolcenter.com. They have sent me the same wrong parts two times now. I am still waiting for the correct parts. The customer service rep is horrible. She doesn't return e-mails or claims she never got the e-mail. My sent folder is proof she lies. I just want the parts I ordered and I need them yesterday.

POOLCENTER.COM customer service NO GOOD

Poolcenter.com is a fine website. Their customer service, though, is not helpful in the least. I ordered a pool cover, by the size of the cover I was told I needed by loop-loc, The cover company. I received the wrong size. I called up to have them send me a new one, figuring it was a mis-pick. The girls there had no problems sending me a return slip and telling me that I would receive my new cover (corrected size) as soon as the old one arrived in their warehouse. ( I needed an 18X34 they sent a 20X38) I sent the cover back and waited 6 days. I called and was informed that my order was refunded. Not re-shipped, REFUNDED. It was a Saturday and the girl on the phone told me that she was not a supervisor, and that the supervisors would not be in until Monday, BUT, she could have them call ME to assist me in the situation. On Monday I went to sleep in the morning (I work nights) waiting for a call that never came. Finally at 2 pm when I woke up I called them. The supervisor, Diana Perez, explained that I have to order by the size of the pool, which it clearly states on the webiste. I would also have to measure my pool and the anchors and fill out the form on the poolcenter.com website to make sure my cover was not a custom size. If i did not I would not be eligible for a refund if it was the wrong size or a re-ship. I never yelled to this point, but my frustration boiled. I searched the website, when I had a second (I have 2 kids and a 70 hr a week job), and could not find the measuring page. I can also see that if you search by pool cover size (if you know the size of your cover needed) from a search engine, you would not be told anywhere that you need to order by POOL size. (I knew the size of the cover, so I searched 18X34 cover on google and was sent to the poolcenter.com page for 18X34 cover, NOT 16X32 POOL which is how poolcenter.com would sell it)There are no clear markings on the site stating this. There was also no measuring sheet on the poolcenter.com website. It had to be e-mailed to me after I searched for 2 days by Diana Perez (I asked for her). Ms. Perez had to sent it to me from ANOTHER website(INTHESWIM.COM), not even Poolcenter.com's site. She had originally told me that this was available on the poolcenter.com site. I finally sent it in, and was told that I would have to wait a business day (weekend) for the custom sales team to go through the order and verify that it was or was not a custom order. Finally on Monday I was told it was a standard cover and to speak to a representative to assist with the purchase. The customer service rep said she would not feel comfortable placing the order because of the "file" on my order and that if it was wrong it would not be good for anyone. I still have not yelled or lost my temper. I also asked, that since this was such a big deal and we were going on a month and a half with the order and re-ship process, if they could ship it, at their cost, faster, so that I could put it in at a time which would be comfortable to me. I received a "no" and "we do not do that here". I am thoroughly disappointed in Poolcenter.com, mostly their customer service team.

Part not Shipped, Money not Refunded

Ordered a part for my swimming pool part on 6/16. I was opening my pool so I need that part fast. I paid extra for a 2-day shipping. The part was in stock and the order went through. 2 days later I got a message on my phone from them saying that the part is really not in stock. It will be back in stock in 1 or 2 weeks. I called them back only to find out that they can't cancel it because it was order from another supplier (?). Now 2 weeks later - no part and now money. Opened a dispute with paypal and still waiting...

Not a rebutable web site to do business with

Order new valve for sand filter. Sales rep insisted valve he had in stock would fit. After arriving valve was not even close. Gave sale person ordinal part number at time of order. After arriving valve was not even close. Contacted company and they stated they would issue RMA within 24 -48 hours. A whole week went by and I had to call again to get the RMA number. Then was informed there is 15% restocking fee. Return shipping was at my cost and must be received in 30 days. At the time of sale I repeatedly asked if the part they were substituting would work and they insisted yes. I have the original owners book with the part number I requested. I was told they were out of stock and this other part would fit. Ordered from a different company and part sent was right. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They will tell you anything to sell you something so you get stuck with the return stocking fee
