Latching compartments in the dash

I have replaced this and still can not get the latching mechanism to secure the Lid. How does a manufacturer use zip ties to secure the main latching anchor for this type of machine. Oh, a 30,000K plus machine. Come on Polaris!

#polaris Do you hold your dealers to a standard? #Mikespeetzen Please help me share the unethical actions of #Perkinstire&Polaris #billyperkins #MississippiMuscle BEWARE! Stay away! Perkins Tire & Polaris and Polaris Inc. Does subpar work and will not take responsibility of any damage caused by their shop. See timeline below. #polarisrzr #perkinstire #billyperkins #polaris #MikeSpeetzen Listed below is the events timeline, a certificated mechanic proved proof engine failure was due to a loss of oil, which you acknowledged. On July 7, 2022, Dropped off the Razor Highlifter 1000 for full service. On July 21, 2022, Picked up Razor Highlifter 1000 from the shop. On April 15, 2023, Friends and I rode the Razor at 5651 Natchez Hwy Wilmer, AL 36587, for approximately an hour. During this ride, we began smelling oil; the engine was immediately turned off, and I inspected under the Razor to determine the issue. At this time, I noticed the oil plug was missing. On April 17, 2023, I called Perkins Tire and Polaris to inform them of the issue, and they requested I bring the Razor in for review. On April 28, 2023, I was told oil was put back in the engine, and the oil plug was torqued. (which is expected in routine maintenance) So I picked up the Razor and took it home. On June 23, 2023, I rode the Razor for approximately an hour. Lights started appearing on the dash; the Razor was turned off and was towed back to the house from the field. On June 26, 2023, I contacted Perkins Tire and Polaris, and he advised me to bring it back to check it out. When the dealer had the Razor at their shop, Brian called me and told me the bike was making a noise, and they did not have a mechanic on staff. He gave me the number of a mechanic in Lucedale to contact. On July 3, 2023, I went to the dealership. They would not jump off the bike to drive it out; instead, they stated the battery was dead and did not have a jump box. The Razor was pushed on the trailer. I then went to Autozone to purchase a new battery and started the Razor. The engine was making a horrible noise. On July 4, 2023, I took the Razor to Brandon with B&L motorsports and spoke to Brandon. I started the engine, and he immediately replied turn it off; the machine is locking up. On July 5, 2023, I called Billy at Perkins Tire, and Polaris explained everything that had occurred, and he told me that he needed to inspect the motor to ensure it was due to loss of oil. Contacted Brandon and authorized him to release the Razor to Perkins Tire and Polaris. On July 17, 2023, Billy called and stated there was dirt inside the engine on top of the piston and requested I come to view the motor. On July 21, 2023, I arrived at 3:15 pm to see Billy; we noted loose dirt in the engine piston during our review. I turned the oil filter on its side and opened it to view the filter condition and contents. At this time, found the filter to be full of metals. I examined the air intake system from the air filter to the intake valves and found no evidence of dirt. The system was clean. I showed Billy, and he stated well, I do not know how it got in there, but it did. However, as you can see, the dirt build up on the outside of the engine is the same dirt on top of the position. The engine was disassembled before cleaning the surface, which caused the loose dirt to fall into the cylinder on top of the piston. Once again, I requested you, Billy Perkins, make me whole for your shop's mistake. To which you replied, well, if the court finds me at fault, I will get my insurance to pay. On July 22, 2023, I met with a mechanic, Quintin; he disassembled the bottom half of the engine containing the rod bearings and crankshaft main bearing. During his investigations, he determined the dirt in the cylinder was from disassembly and found metal shaving in the oil pan from the main crank bearings and the piston rod bearings. His diagnosis was that the failure of bearings was due to oil loss, causing oil pressure loss. There was no evidence of dirt in the bottom of the engine, nor did the dirt on top of the piston have any carbon that would be normal from combustion in the engine, which would also indicate the dirt fell in during disassembly. On July 26, 2023 Owner stated that he would not cover any damage

New Dealership, Columbia River Motorsports 58245 Columbia River Hwy, St Helens, OR 97051

Took 2012 Polaris RZR 900xp to get serviced, after 4 weeks they decided to work on after it's been driven moved around several times. i called and ask what is taken so long. Bobby said they were over booked and only two mechanics. Bobby stated they are having a hard time finding a mechanic without lying and they are not certified. First he stated it's all in pieces, and it will be ready on a Thursday. I called Thursday still in pieces but also said they have been moving it around. Before I took it in it always started and drove perfectly. Bobby called again and said the starter stuck and BLEW THE MOTOR UP, this happened on the 5th week. He has been given me conflicting stories, and the mechanics are not certified. They are expecting me to pay for a new motor plus the service. I have had zero problems for 5 years ran and started perfectly, low hours and thousands of dollars on upgrades. This company is new and bought the previous one that I always took it in for service with zero problems.

Inability to contact Polaris Customer Service

I don't know where else to turn. Every time I try and contact Polaris Customer Service, I keep getting re-directed to page after page of sales info. I already own a Polaris product and do not want to buy another one. All I want is the e-mail, mailing address and phone number for Polaris Customer Service. No more sales pitches, please.

There’s room for improvement. As I always say too many chiefs and not enough indians

So of last year during snow check in 2022 I purchased a 2023 s4 adventure sled. From southside sales in north Adams mass. Its now the middle of February and still no sled . Ive made plans for trips up north and ride. I even called Polaris to find out where my new sled is and a very polite lady had to ask her supervisor where it is as they dont see the order for me. I have purchased another sled to replace the one I never received and on top of it I received some swag from polaris a new hat welcoming me for purchasing it . Talk about a screwed up deal. Now Im gonna call the dealer and give him my case number and ask for my money back. This is the worst snow check Ive ever had.

There is NO WAY I can get ahold of anyoine in Polaris Customer Service. I keep getting re-directed to product sales pages. The Ranger I own has mechanical issues and I need some help. I do not want

Mechanical issues with my Ranger and the inability to contact anyone one at Polaris. The 800 number for my dealer is invalid. Polaris Industries does not have an accessible phone or e-mail hat I can find. They just keep sending me for *** to but more Polaris products. My Ranger only has 206 miles on it and does not work. There is NO WAY to get ahold of anyone at Polaris Industries with the other issues I need addressed.

Customer Service

On May 21, 2022 we went to an outdoor/camping expo located in Flagstaff, Arizona. We happened upon a Polaris dealer RideNow Powersports Surprise, in Surprise, AZ. They had two Polaris four seat UTVs for sale and at this date and time that was astounding because no one had any stock for sale in the US. We were interested in the new 2021 Polaris RZR Pro XP4 and talked to the salesman Stephen. One of the specific questions we asked the salesman was if Polaris RZRs were still having trouble with catching on fire since they had a big problem with that with their 2016 models. We were assured that all those issues had been resolved and that we had nothing to worry about, so we purchased the 2021 RZR Pro XP4, and proceeded to add over $10,000 worth of aftermarket Polaris parts on it. On Friday, September 2nd, 2022, one week before we had a scheduled trip to the North Rim for a week with 54 other cars, we got a STOP Ride/Sale notice from Polaris stating that our specific model of RZR was indeed catching on fire due to a gas leak. We had to cancel our trip and we lost money on various stuff that we purchased for that trip, not to mention not getting to go. We called Polaris and asked if they would provide a loaner for that trip, they said no. We have talked to the RideNow Dealership in Surprise about the issue they offer no help as well and no loaners. It is now late January 2023 and we still cannot use our RZR, there is no fix in site, and Polaris has no answers and offers no help. I called a Polaris distributor and they said even when they get the fix, it will be at least 2 months before receiving it. That probably means we won't be able to use our SxS for about 9 months while we continue to make payments on it. We have a charity event coming up in December that we are sponsors for and want to participate in and again we asked Polaris and RideNow Surprise if they would at least provide a loaner vehicle and they both said no. This charity event brings out thousands of UTVs and raises a ton of money for a great cause and Polaris and RideNow Surprise offer no help. We have missed out on so many riding trips and weekends where we cant do what we enjoy doing so much, riding our UTV with friends. At this point we do not trust Polaris RZRs, or their customer service line, or their products in general. How long before we purchased our RZR did they know about this model catching fire? When did the first incidents of this model catching fire occur? Polaris has left so many customers stuck with a product that we cant use, sell, or even trade in. They were willing to take our money they should be willing to do right by their customers. I want them to buy me out, pay me for all I am out, pay me for lost time, and take back their un-useable product. If there is a lawyer out there who is willing to help a LARGE group of people be made whole by a company that boasts 1.6 billion dollars in sales on their website, please contact us through this forum. We want to pursue legal action ASAP! Thank You!Do

Worst Purchase Experience Ever......Consumer's BEWARE!

We had a recall within the first week of purchasing our Brand New 2022 RZR Pro XP 4 Ultimate Polaris! We could have picked any machine we wanted & I wanted to go with CanAm. A good friend of mine works for them. However, my Husband was adamant that Polaris was the Company that he trusted at the time! He wanted to enjoy Peace of mind so decided to just purchase one Brand New through them & spent over $50k! Immediately there was a Recall & we had to haul it 10 hrs roundtrip back to the dealership. Then 3 hours on it & we had to haul it in to replace the clutch. There were recalls on Clutches but not our model-but it ended up that there was a problem with ours too. Clutch went out so the Belt got fried too.> We waited so long the Promised date>just to get it and here it was sitting in the shop being repaired no fault to us. Less than 200 miles on it used> and we receive another recall! This time saying there is an important "SAFETY STOP RIDING NOTICE!" We have barely been able to use! Soon our warranty is going to be up and we are not allowed to use it. Also, the Manufacturer said that they have no idea how to fix it and they are unwilling to extend the Warranty. "Fuel Tank Leak Stop Ride Notice!" We feel so taken advantage of and unappreciated! Everyone that we have had to deal with has been so rude and unprofessional from the very start. We sure wish that we could return it and just walk away! Do not buy one of these Machines if you are considering it. Not only is it the worst experience from Start to Finish that we have ever had but this is how they will treat you as a Consumer once they have your money! I had to write this review to at least warn others.

Poor warranty servicing

This is as much an indictment on Leslie's as it is on Polaris. I bought a Polaris Robotic Cleaner about three years ago. It's only actually been used a handful of times because it kept breaking down. What a piece of junk! This last time, I brought it in to Leslie's on North Custer Rd in McKinney, TX for yet another repair on 11/2/2022. Today is 12/20/2022. Since then, I received no phone calls, no text messages, no emails regarding the status of the repair. I have made several phone calls checking on it, only to be informed that the manager is the only one who works on them; and that I'd have to check with him. So I verified that he was working today and made a special trip to see him. He said I needed another motor - I think that makes four now. But, he said, the warranty was now up and the company, Polaris, wouldn't furnish the $500 motor as expected. The reason it's now out of warranty is that it's ALWAYS in the shop. And every time for same thing - "ERR10." So apparently the manager knew of this for some time, but he refused to inform me of the Polaris decision. Of course, there is no way I was going to pay another $500 for that #%$##&^!, So I informed him that he bought himself another useless cleaner. We exchanged other pleasantries. His repeated apologies fell on deaf ears, though. I'm tired of this crap. I know Leslie's and Polaris will do just fine without my continued business, but it makes me feel just a little bit better putting Leslie's and Polaris both on report. A slightly modified version of this Google Review was posted on the Leslie's store in question. Richard Irwin dickirwin@***.com

2019 Polaris Slingshot

Bought brand new and started having small issues with the trim where the adhesive started wearing down. Happened multiple times and it's due to deformed panel where the trim will not fully contact the surface. Polaris industries communicated with the local dealer but not sure why they keep have miscommunications. I ended up with rusted seat brackets sitting at the local dealer for over a week and without any communication from both of the parties. Zero customer loyalty. How are they in business? I wish they'd just send me the panel and let bygones be bygones. Lost total trust and will never own Polaris products. Hope no one went through same issues as I did. I've wasted so much time

Constant recalls

They send stop ride notice because fuel tank may explode, says do not start machine because explosion hazards. Coolant leak, kinked throttle cable and the risk of not being able to turn machine off if throttle sticks, known as TORS on older snowmobiles. 2022 Swithback Assault is poorly designed, probably has something to do with the reports of poor management, some engineer said Polaris will be sorry for treating him poorly.
