Terrible service!!!

dIts been a headache with this company trying to get my pods delivered. they keep charging my account but still havent delivered my pod

COMPLETE DISSATISFACTION WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE

Have been trying to get a resolution to a problem for several months to NO avail! POD's customer service promised to PRO-RATE 2 weeks of my final months payment. POD's claims they don't pro-rate. I've asked that they listen to the recording where it was promised and honor the promise. No one will respond to my open customer resolution ticket!

Update

Pods turned over to a collection agency saying I owe them. Really, what a joke. I submitted to the collection agency my complaint. I was charged without my approval. My Credit card company reversed my charges. I will never pay this. What a shamefully company. Never do business with Pods.

Damages from pod placement

I need a response from this company. I have damage on my house. I have not heard from you. Email was not accepted. No way to contact from phone. When I did have contact...there was no response from call. I have spentv2 hours of my time to get nowhere with my claim. Your system does not respect your customers

Water got inside pod

Worst company I have ever encountered.

I just hung up after being on hold for 1 hour and 33 minutes. See screenshot. Was I too hasty?

As I write this review, I am currently on hold for 30 minutes (listening to ghastly music - they can't even get that right) with no guarantee of a service rep to talk to, or that the service rep will do anything other than transfer me to someone else (as has happened multiple times previously) for another ridiculously long wait. This company has supervisors that encourage their front line workers to lie about the status of the account, the whereabouts of the container, and anything else to make the customer go away. This company blocked my access to my account on-line, but is impossible to reach in any substantive way otherwise. I have had representatives promise me that my container would be moved into the destination state if I would pay xyz$. Although I made the requisite payment, the company reps then told me that they were sorry, but the funds had been misapplied, and the container was still in NY. Now, I can no longer reach anyone. Have asked for the name and contact info of their legal department, but they will not give out that information. My contents of my container are not high value except to me - containing health records related to a current cancer diagnosis, old MRIs, family memorability - and I can't even determine where they are. I have spent many thousands of dollars with PODS to keep the contents in safe storage. Absolutely the worst company I have ever encountered. Awful. Wish I could give no stars.

No response from dispute center after many calls and emails

I was told that I could book a date for POD delivery and change it one time free of charge. Bait and switch for sure. When I called to change my date because my house went into escrow, they said it would be an addition 900 dollars. 10 calls later and being sent to the dispute center, I still have not heard back from Sherry or anyone elseeven after 3 nice messages and and email. Pods hasnt been able to connect me with anyone to help. This is no longer the company I knew years ago. Terrrrrible customer service!!!

Billing question

We feel our case was not throughly reviewed. None of our questions were answered. We are suppose to have gotten the May discount of 40% off because 2 pods will be stored at Earth City MO for 4 months or more plus a 10 percent military discount. Also there is a Visa card on our account and it does not belong to us and we have asked about it and still no answer! Also, we never received an email with the new contract after the 2nd pod was ordered. We have been treated extremely poorly and would appreciate answers. Refund

I moved from TX to CA. Delivery of my Pod was delayed by 10 days, from Mar 8 to 18. I could not move into my home without any furniture clothes pots pans so had to scramble for accommodation. Cust Svc said Pods would reimburse me for reasonable rent and personal need expenses. The cheapest LA hotels in safe areas in March were $200+ per night. So I found a room in a Home with a person who has a local rental business in Huntington Beach. They charged me $1000 for 10 days. I did not claim anything for personal necessities. This is super reasonable. I have requested reimbursement from Pods at least 10 times. I have sent copy of the invoice and the cheque I used to pay rent to the the owners. Have been trying to reach a Jaerren who was assigned my case, but she never answers the phone, ever. Nor does she return calls or even email. It is now over 2 months later and No Response. This is very poor execution, delaying delivery by 10 days and its bad enough they havent paid me, but whats worse is that they wont take calls. Extremely poor customer service.

HORRENDOUS PRICES AND SERVICES

I received a verbal quote and accepted that while authorizing the container to be dropped off in two days. Once the container was dropped off, I was charged twice what I'd been quoted and began an Escalation with PODS' Dispute Team. I was never contacted by the person responsible for the dispute, ** - Instead they continued to charge me at a rate I had not accepted or confirmed. The continued charges forced me to use their services and it has now been one month since I began the dispute, with absolutely no contact from the dispute representative or refund of my money

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Unprofessional

Pods are not reliable. The people that i had spoken with on the phone simply transferred dont' me and when i called back they hang up on my or leave me on hold. Its like they have caller ID. I emailed them as well but i cant seem to find it in my sent mail so i will redo it. But not this complaint. Its amazing how you can upgrade your appointment on line but you cant cancel online unless you call and then they don't answer. Giving scammy vibes for sure.

It has been like a waking nightmare...and it's still going on!!

Once I got from NC to GA and began the process of settling the bill and getting the Pods off my property, the nightmare began. The bill was insanely higher than what had been quoted initially and I refused to pay it without knowing what each cost was for. Meanwhile, they would not move the Pods off my property. Meanwhile 23 days have gone by. I called them when I found several questionable items on the transaction detail report I FINALLY received. Turns out they were trying to charge me for a THIRD Pod! Well, I got that resolved, only to received amended billing trying to charge me for storage for the entire month of April into the first week of May!! I am currently making the several phone calls required to finally get someone who can actually make changes to the bill...and the 2 16' Pods are still sitting in my driveway...

THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD

I rented a POD for a month, got it returned, my card continued to get charged and NO REFUND TO THIS DAY AS I WAS PROMISED!!! Oh and if LINDSEY PAYNE is in charge of your case dont hold your breath. Shes a freaking joke. This company will steal your money and give you empty promises. I wish I never got involved with them. They continued to charge my card over and over after my POD had been returned. Had to cancel my card to get it to stop and have wasted an hour every other day on customer service line. Do yourself a favor and have nothing to do with this scamming company. Photo attached of Lindsey Payne the biggest liar in the company. Oh and if she doesnt want to answer she will send an email claiming shes out of office. Lmao this lady needs to be fired before she gets this company in a lawsuit.

Ruined my stuff

Very long story. Ill try to make it as short as possible. Ive been using pods since 2020 and it was for a move from Louisiana to Texas. For this, they seemed fine. However, their international moves suck and they were horrible about paperwork and they strung me along for a while. Then we finally got our pod delivered from Corpus Christi Texas to Canada December 5, 2022. Seemed fine at first until I started unloading and opening boxes/plastic wrap. Everything wreaked of mold. Things were covered in it! My childrens electronics no longer worked due to corrosion from salt air/rust and mold. Even the stuff kept in sealed plastic bags stunk. So I did some investigating and have proof that the Corpus Christi location keeps some of their pods outside literally next to the street, unprotected from theft and heat/humidity. They are not empty containers and they have locks on them, so that leads me to believe they are property of other customers. I can only guess that my pod was kept outside for most of its stay there due to the amount of damage on my belongings. Ive been trying to get my money back for the damages but the customer service people suck. I was able to get a partial refund on a couple of things, but definitely not enough. Im definitely pissed off. Im currently trying to file a claim with them for the damages but have a feeling Ill need to take it to a legal level to get anything to happen.
