I recently purchased planters mixed peanuts the container listed Brazil nuts only found 2 in the entire container due to the cost of this product I feel that I was ripped off and grossly mislead.

Rancid cashews. Taste like bleach.

AThese cashews are inedible. Theres this bleachy bitter aftertaste. Thought it was me but my family all tasted and agreed. Expiration is 2025 so cant understand what happened. Planters quality used to be great. Never buying Planters brand again.

I love mixed nuts, Planters mixed nuts are full with peanuts and almonds, a small amount of cashews and Brazilian nuts. The claim its like that because of the weight of the can.

I have started purchasing Gold Emblems mixed nuts in the can because you get more of a mixture of nuts. Consumers purchase Planters because they have been around for a while. Maybe you should purchase Gold Emblems mixed nuts until Planters step up their game.

Horrible product now why?

Planters mixed nut used to be the best option for nuts for many many generations. Now they are horrible. I will never buy their nuts again-lol. I am just wondering why they now sell low low grade nuts and yet they are still charging a premium price? Poor management, direction, does anyone know.

Not satisfied with your peanuts!

Bought two jars of your honey roasted peanuts. Where is the honey taste? Where is the great tangy salt that I remember? Not the first time I have found this with your product. No warning of sea salt or lightly salted. This product used to be sweet and very salty! How hard is it to produce sweet and salty Peanuts? #290000****

Can not contact

My sunflower seeds were bad and I cannot get in touch with anybody. The company changed hands and is no longer owned by Planters. It is owned by somebody else.

Worst cashews on earth

My office stocks single serving packs of Planters cashews. They are consistently AWFUL. Terrible taste, brittle texture, and almost all pieces are broken. I understand that with food, sometimes product quality will vary. But these are ALWAYS terrible. All 3 aspects - taste, texture, and brokenness - are terrible every single time. I don't know what Planters does to their nuts, but I will never ever buy a single product of theirs, and have lobbied my office to ditch them and replace with something decent.

Unsatisfied

Somebody wants the deluxe mixed nuts when it says cashews almonds Brazil nuts pecans and pistachios and you open it up and all you have is cashews and almonds and one half a piece of a pistachio and a sliver of a pecan and one whole Brazil nut I believe this is false advertisement

Inferior product.

Purchased Deluxe Whole Cashews. Over paid for amount of product but trusted Planters Cashews to be of high quality. Nuts were burnt!!! Not only did I feel I was over charged given the quantity of product they were unsuitable due to dreadfully low quality. The cashews were burnt, hard, visually repulsive. As I threw them away all I could think- throwing away all that money and yet another brand name I cant trust anymore. Done with it. Brand trust? Brand loyalty? Naive no more

Complaint

CASHEWS(crap) Hormel Foods. April 28, 2023 Planters.com Dear Sirs, Having been a frequent lifetime consumer of PLANTERS products, I was SHOCKED when I recently picked up a 24 count Variety Pack for a trip. I'm a cashews lover, and yes (after 40 years in the biggest food & candy production companies) I do fully understand product grading, quality control, AND scrap recovery/salvage. Now having opened three of the cashew packs, it is obvious that PLANTERS is losing its grip on BRAND and product integrity. The contents, consistent in all three, were atrocious. Few "wholes", mostly small pieces, and enough grinds and belt dust to make package weight. It appears that your production standards have been adapted to the HORMAL protocols for making sausage. In other words "(s)crap". I know the economics of food, and the temptation to trade market share for profit (a slippery slope). I also recognize the marketing trick of slicker packaging graphics, which DO NOT depict actual degraded ingredient contents, rather than sustain quality. All sleazy concessions on the way to brand collapse. (BTW, last company was MARS. Inc.) So, I guess it's NO BIG DEAL to PLANTERS. One more disappointed consumer lost is "just peanuts", perhaps. But, with my background, it bothers me how another once powerful brand surrenders it market stature so readilly. Sad... Have a nice day. Regards, Bill Horan 75 Changebridge Road Montville. Rocks

I bought planters dry roasted salted that had two big rocks mixed in with the peanuts be careful. This company has been around for years, it seems like they would have checked for foreign items. Some people open the container and pour the peanuts in their mouth like I do, not a good idea. Luckily I didn't swallow anything.

Something in my container of nuts

I purchased planter deluxe unsalted mix nuts (0910A2) (02900****058) and I found a piece of wood in the container. It looks like a piece of wood from a pallet. I'm very dissatisfied with this product and like to be compensated for it. I would appreciate that someone contact me after 4pm to discuss this matter. This is very unsanitary.

Horrible New Labels

Planters HORRIBLE NEW label. It took a while to figure out what this picture was actually depicting. What a horrible label, you know Planters did this on purpose. SHAMEFUL!
