Has to be brought to justice
We use Planet payment because no choice. They really are no honest. Are 2 last free tax where paid 6 month after. There is no backup and you have to complain 6 or 7 time before to be paid. They try to keep the money people forget to ask. This is a shame and this compagny has to be brought to justice. We raised this inacceptable issue to the shop we use to go and ask them to go to another one which is perfect!!

I sent my VAT refund forms to Planet Payment via registered mail, which they received March 21. It's been 37 days and I have received no refund. Today, I checked the status on their website, and got the message: "We have issues processing your Tax Free form, please contact our Customer Support team by providing the details from your Tax Free form(s) If they had issues with processing my form, why didn't they contact me until now? They have all my contact information on the paperwork I sent them. So I filled in the requested info form on their site, and got an email auto responder. I provided all the information and did everything I was supposed to. So WHAT is the problem??? If this matter is not resolved to my satisfaction (e.g., swift issuance of the VAT refund I am owed), I will be bringing it to the attention of major media outlets and seeking any available legal remedies. Planet Payment has no right to withhold our funds. Someone from Planet reached out with a canned response, but that is not enough.

They are true thieves twice: 1) first they charge you a 25% commission, without the store (El Corte Ingles) notifying you, when they have the obligation to do the Tax Free directly without intermediaries 2) They take many months to return the money and after several emails, in my case my purchase in Spain was on December 17, 2022, today March 29, 2023, I still have not received the tax refund. Son unos verdaderos ladrones por dos veces: 1) primero te cobran una comisión del 25%, sin que la tienda (El Corte Ingles) avise, cuando tienen obligación de hacer el Tax Free directamente sin intermediarios 2) Tardan en devolver el dinero mcuhos meses y después de varios correos, en mi caso mi compra en España fue el 17 de diciembre del 2022, hoy día 29 de marzo del 2023, todavía no he recibido la devulución de impuestos.

Absolutely pathetic company
Absolutely pathetic from start to finish. Avoid stores that use this service. First, no one was at the airport booth (even though the sign said they would be open), no electronic kiosks (their competitor Global Blue had kiosks at the MXP airport that worked perfectly). Spent weeks emailing them, no response. Finally CCed the CEO and someone responded. They made me physically mail my documents to Poland, and then 6-weeks later finally provided a refund, but kept 40% of the refund claiming that is their "fee".

One Refund Refused
All but one of my refunds were deposited to my credit card. Suspiciously, the largest refund was denied stating they paid me cash at the airport. Nothing was open at the airport, I didn't get cash from anywhere, now they are not answering my emails or blocked my emails to send me proof, Bottega Veneta doesn't want to intervene at all, it is nearly impossible to find a way to complain about them and their own complaints email bounces back

If I could give zero rating I would. I purchased items from Louis Vuitton in Dublin and had dropped off my form with the worker at Planet Tax Free at the airport on departure date of 11/27/22 and have yet to receive my refund of $660. I sent a few inquiries through their website and have never gotten a response even though the email says within 3 days. Its been over 2 months now. This was my first time using this service and I would never shop at a retailer that partners with them ever again. This is a total scam and should be investigated by a governmental body as they operate in several countries. I even sent a direct email to their Ireland branch and have yet to get a response. What I want is my *** money!!! Prosecute this company and send their *** to jail!! 1000% consumer FRAUD!!

Purchase made in France on 10/04/2022, confirmed receipt of the correct forms at the airport with an email confirmation from planet Payment the email contains a note that refund will be within 30 days, it has been 45 days with no refund and no response to any of the follow up forms that was sent out Contacted Luis Vuitton for further assistance with no feedback yet

Planet tax refund is definitely a scam, send two requests and still did not receive the refund. There is no way to contact them besides sending tracking form.

Never received our refund
Never received our refund from June it is now September. Going back to Europe and I will never ever buy from a store that uses planet for tax free. I was refunded by global blue shortly after my trip. Ive never had a problem with global blue.
