Bad Experience Due To Disrespectful Employee

Hi, I would like to make a complaint about one of your employees, Shy-Anne Bumstead, who works at the Photos Unlimited Portrait Studio in the Dawson Creek BC Walmart, store number #05776. Shy-Anne is one of the most unprofessional employees that I have ever met. She had her mask off and was coughing around customers. She also had a bad odour, and smelled like horse manure. She also took a personal phone call, on her cell phone as she was taking my pictures. Shy-Anne took family photos for myself, my husband and my daughters. All of our photos were bad quality, blurry, and out of focus. When asked to do retakes, Shy-Anne refused. She tried to pick up my baby without my permission. She also yelled at my child. When my three year old had trouble sitting still, and Shy-Anne screamed at her to sit down It was completely inappropriate. She also said me and my husband need to punish our children. Shy-Anne also made several inappropriate remarks, including telling my husband he looked hot. When taking photos of my seven year old, who has autism, and refused to smile Shy-Anne said is this kid retarded? Completely unacceptable. Shy-Anne was very rude and made our whole photo experience horrible. This girl is not a good representation for your company. I have been having photos done here for years, but after this experience I will start paying for professional photos from a photographer. I will also recommend for my family and friends not use this studio. Please hire someone who is more appropriate and actually treats people with respect. I would appreciate someone getting back to be to let me know what action youve taken concerning this incident.

Low POOR quality photos

Oh My Dear Lord! i have just read some of the reviews that people left here and i must agree with some of them 100%. Just went for a family photo session at wamart in Ottawa, Canada. To my surprise, the employee was actually well mannered, nice and helpful. The photo session was in fact a very pleasant one. However, the quality of the final product i must say it is a disgrace to walmart. And i really mean it. We didn't expect such a low poor quality photos from a big, well known company like Walmart. especially these days when HiTech world is giving us so many better options. Totally disappointing. It is not about money, it is about the time you take to make an appointment, drive there, spend time for the photo session. Feel sad for those people that work for Walmart Photos Unlimited. That's a shame.

Unprofessional Employee

I would like to make a complaint about one of your employees. Jaclyn Grover at Studios Unlimited in the Dawson Creek Walmart store # 05776. I wanted nice photos don’t for my daughters first birthday. The lady at the photo studio gave me the exact opposite. She smelled like marijuana. She interrupted our photo session to have a smoke break. She was dressed inappropriately and was showing way too much cleavage. She nearly dropped my baby trying to pose her on a block. She would not listen to me when I was making suggestions about the photos I was paying for. On top of that, she told my husband he looked cute in his dress shirt. At the end, she asked us if we would mind giving her a ride home. I was disgusted by how this woman acted. The photos didn’t even turn out nice. I asked for a refund because I didn’t like a single photo and she refused. I see her on Facebook all the time advertising free photos. I don’t know why you would hire her. I will not be returning to this photo studio, or any Photos Unlimited studio. I will also be advising my friends and family not to go there. I would much rather pay a professional photographer who knows what they’re doing. Jaclyn acted like she had never picked up a camera before. Please look into this. I am sure you can find a better employee. This woman is unprofessional and childish.

Cheep cheep tricks

Today I`m going to share nice business trick made by photosunlimited how they are making fools his customer . Last month I need a passport pics for my visa purpose , as a general guy I went to Walmart there I found photosunlimited photo store located in Walmart Mississauga , After completion my visa picture there I found one box which stating ( win a chance to take 15 min off photo session please drop your details with fallowing slip ) After3 days I got a call from photosunlimited saying that you won the lucky draw please come and take photo session , over the phone call I enquired them is there any hidden charges , I got conformation that there is no hidden charge its complete free :P ( trap ) , so they requested to book a date , so I booked a date of 30 June ( feeling lucky I got a photo session ) .so I went to photo session for 15 minutes and photographer took 40 snaps randomly and requested to wait15 min .After 15 she came to me and showed their real business trick , sir photo session are free if you required soft copy you need pay some packages ( like you need 5 pics need to pay 75$ and if you need 10 pics you need pay 90 $ or you need whole album 125 $ I need pay Question 1) if they are not providing photos what is the use of taking photo sessions ( thinking people are fools and playing with people money ) **HATSOFF for you business trick photosunlimited people taking pohoto session they will look for copies of their photo copies , you are looting from their pockets bye saying free :P

Horrific Experience

On your websites “MONEY BACK GUARANTEE* - If your photos are rejected, we will give you a full refund, plus re-shoot your photos at no cost!” HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE I went in the get photo as well as digital photo as per requested by the associated Embassy, the pictures turned out dark with poor exposure, the girl said it should work if not can get a refund. I went home and tried to upload the picture, with numerous tries, did not qualified and when I took the picture back at 2:15pm, the lady was at lunch between 2-3pm, so I returned at 3pm, she was on the phone, did not pay any attention to me till 3:05pm I explained the situation, and she said they never made mistake, I should use my own photo editing program to make the change to make the matter simple, or I will have to get a rejection letter from the Embassy to qualify for the refund. After some argument, and I showed her the photo that didn't meet the requirement, she comment that I may have used it already and demand for me to delete it, she grabbed my phone and said she couldn't do it. She reluctantly looked into and computer and said I was not in the system, after I showed her my receipt and my phone number, she found it, and then remarks " I will give you your refund just to be kind"; then she asked for my 'debit' card, I told her I used Master Card, she said, the system said I paid by Debit, I said I never used debit card, she said I produced a debit with same number she would not refund me, I suggested the girl who may have punched in the wrong info, she immediately said they never made mistake, I showed her the receipt again which she crumpled up and it clearly stated it was a MC, she said she is not blind, I still need to produce the 'debit card' which was what indicated in her system. I asked to speak to her manager and she said ' I AM the manager' and later threw me the complaint number if you want, and I called that number and left message, no one respond. I returned physical photo and deleted the digital, and never got my money back. Also she mentioned, "her time is very valuable and she was there 10 hours a day and deserve a break". With that kind of service attitude, and being a manager in the department speak for itself the quality of product they are producing. I can accept mistake and error, I can't understand how someone with this attitude can be in service industry. I will make sure everyone around me or anyone I know will not patronize this company, it's not cheap, merely convenient for me, and no guarantee on it's product and unbelievable low quality of service I have ever encountered yet.

They listed me as non rehireable, and won’t say why

Update: I spoke to the Head Manager, Michael, who said it was at the District Manager and Store Manager’s Discretion whether or not to hire me. The District Manager blamed the Store Manager who had nothing to do with it, and they both blamed Michael.

Currently they are under investigation by the labour board for forcing employees to work overtime without overtime pay, work through breaks, and doctoring employees hours. They have an extremely high employee turnover rate which is why the store manager was desperate to hire someone when I applied. They had her working 12-15 hour shifts without breaks.

At this point I am boycotting the company until they improve their labour standards and stop punishing employees for doing the right thing. I am also suing them for the 5 days I worked without pay.

I was hired as seasonal labour and told they were putting me in as quit when the season was over. I worked hard and made good sales. They have no reason not to re-hire me but deliberately humiliated me by making me look like I did something awful.

Quality

We took our daughter for her one year old portrait in Walmart Queensborough, New Westminster, BC and we’re so excited to use the picture for her first birthday party. I noticed right away that most pictures were angled so I asked the photographer if those could be fixed and she said yes so we ordered the digital copies and some print outs. We prefered to keep all pictures because it’s our baby’s first photo shoot. The photographer was rude and very defensive when asked questions. She deleted some pictures in front of us when we’re ordering the digital copies.. she said those picture couldn’t be given to us because they were not good. I said that she should have not done it because we’re paying for all the pictures - it’s part of the digital copies. She said there were more pictures in the memory sticks that wasn’t able to upload to their computer yet we can view them later on their website. When we viewed them on the website, they were the same pictures just duplicated! Most pictures were not fixed or might say she couldn’t fix it anymore because the picture were angled shot. We are so disappointed and feel cheated! We will never do it again! Waste of time and money!

Amateur at best

The photos of my son were washed out with horrible lighting, they changed his hairstyle to the way they liked it which caused him not to smile for his picture, his hair was styled for the pictures by me his father. They refuse to do a reshoot, and the prices of the photos are outrageous when you compare to any local studios. In the end i showed the picture to his grandparents and they asked who it was they thaught it was another student in his class. The teacher should have used her camera phone the quality would have been much more superior and focused with shadow lines on the face with whiteout from the lighting. His mother is a professiinal make up artist and is showing the picture to everyone in her industry as what can go wrong when you pretend you mnow what you are doing.

Horrible experience

The school I work for used this company for our school photos. It was horrible. They had no idea how to take photos of children. They couldn't hold the children's attention, so kids just cried. They couldn't take photos of women. They did it on an upwards angle so every single woman looked 20 pounds heavier than they actually were. They cropped photos strangly, in my teacher portrait, they cropped part of my arm?!? I would never recommend to use this company. They need to have photographers who know what they are doing. Never use them.

Rude staff, deliberately messed up the shoot.

I told the staff member I don't like certain types of pose and that's ALL she would do...when I asked for specific poses she wouldn't do them. I'm paying $100, and they're my photos, why can't you just (crazy thought) do what the customer asks? All of the poses were awkward and we got almost nothing we could use. She insisted on posing people with hands in their pockets or their heads tilted. Like EVERY photo has somebody's head tilted. We all look like we have some kind of head tilting disability. I got posed weirdly with my husband so he looks really tiny and I look huge. My head is this giant hot air balloon floating in front of his. They used to have trained photographers working there but fired them all...guess they didn't like having to pay real money and decided to hire $10/hr people who really don't do this job very well.

They Do A Good Job Taking And Processing Pictures...But Their Prices Are High!

Back on Sunday, July 10, 2016, my 85 year old mother and I went to visit one of their Photos Unlimited, LLC stores located inside of a Walmart store located at: 900 Dufferin Street, Toronto, Ontario Canada M6H 4A9 (41*) 537-**** to Only Purchase Two Photographs in order to renew her Immigration Status which has to be done every five (5) years or so. For Your Information: My sister Lorraine recommended that we go inside of the Walmart store at that location because she said that the Price Would Be Much Cheaper Than Other Places, however, when we got there they wanted at least $30.00 Dollars, Plus The Very High Sales Tax just to take Two Lousy Photographs which took No More Than Five (5) Minutes To Process! I am very much Angry and Offended that They Would Charge Such a Very High Amount Of Money since these were just for Two Small Photographs and were NOT family portraits and for what my mother needed them for, it is Totally Rude, Selfish and Ridiculous that They would even have the NERVE TO CHARGE SUCH AN ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF MONEY for these Two Photographs. On Top Of That, They Are Supposed To Be Operating Out Of A Walmart Store with Better Prices, but that was Not The Case and is a Damn Lie! Furthermore, Yes, I did Complain About It and was given a Slight Discount, however, even for the price of $22.00 Dollars for an 85 year old woman, it is EXTREMELY GREEDY AND OVERPRICED to say the very least! Even For Me, That Price Is Totally Abnormal And Redundant! Yes, the Company does Good Work and Eventually Took Care Of My Mother for the Problem, but the Price Remains The Same and that is Why I am Still Complaining About It!
